If you take off the couple of million he's worth, then it works out as 15k a week. It's a punt on him but he might turn out to be alright enough to justify it.

Equivalent to buying him for £2m at 15k/week, if the 25k and 4 years is true

So that means last season Dossena, Now Aurelio and Insua. So who can play as left back?

After Insua, our most senior leftback at the club is Jack Robinson (made his debut last game of last season). He's not 17 yet. Agger could cover there in a pinch, as could Carra, but, yeah... erm, apparantly Stoke have outbid us for Figuarororororora or whatever that Glen Johnson-lite fullback Wigan are touting about is called.
