i thought riera was a decent player and only said what the rest of the watching fans thought about rafa.

A mate who supports Man City said to me when Liverpool first signed him that he'd do well for a bit and then slack off to the point where you couldn't wait to get rid of him. He was right, sadly.

Is that David Beckham signing for Olympiakos? No, it's Albert Riera! Liverpool winger receives hero's welcome in Greece

Beckham is appearantly going to AC Milan again on loan.

Dzeko has Milan and Juve tailing him but Wolfsburg have promised to keep him.

Gattuso is linked with a move to the middle east.

And Ben-Haim will play for the Hammers.

Dumb kid, this was updated on the 16th july.. Ben Haim's move has been called off as he failed a medical.

I really don't get this guy. If he didn't like playing in the US, he shouldn't have signed for Galaxy in the first place. Even his teammates are questioning his dedication to the club.

at the time, both his club and international careers were over. but he worked so hard in training at madrid that capello (who was manager at the time and had orginally dropped him) recalled him to the real madrid, and he played very well in the run up to madrid winning la liga. it was this dedication that led capello to say he regretted letting sign for galaxy. also beckham puts country over club, hence why he trained with arsenal and went on loan to ac milan. if every player in the england side has his professional attitude, we'd be a lot better off

Vidic signs a new contract at United.

No doubt someone will be on to a thread quickly.

Yeah. But my point is, wouldn't it be better off handing in a transfer request rather than be in a club he rarely plays for. I mean, what was his purpose of going to Galaxy in the first place, other than the money? Didn't some of the EPL clubs want to sign him back then? I heard him saying something about raising the image of 'soccer' in the US as one of his main reasons. A bit hard to do that if you're barely in the country, me thinks.

No need to be a **** mate. Not exactly a Hammers fan.

I think he works it by coming to Milan in the American off season? Although I really dont know, the MLS is so confusing

no no he still plays all the time for galaxy, their season runs at different time to ours, so when its their off season he comes over and carries on playing. players like donovan got in a huff because beckham was desperate to play for milan because he values playing for england more than playing for la galaxy. and he's still raising the image with his academy, hence why he said he wont go into management. no culbs actually made an offer to him at the time, and he is serious about promoting football in the US

Figer the rower's agent is telling Honduran newspapers that he's 90% certain he'll be leaving Wigan and they're waiting on Liverpool to arrange a medical. Fee he's saying is 8million Euros. Or £6.6m.

heard storys that Chelsea are pretty close to signing Benfica's Brazilian midfielder Ramieres for around 20million.
