Or that she cheats on you with me, she tells you and then when you confront me I knock you out! That sounds good

Doubt it, your old enough to be her Dad XD

September

Notts County 0-1 Port Vale Kakuta

I am very happy with this win over second placed County. They are a very good team who have money behiund them and we came up with a stellar performance to come out slight winners of a close game.

Port Vale 2-3 Plymouth Kakuta, Topp

I am very disappointed with this defeat in front of our home fans. We took the lead early on and I thought that everything would go well for us. This proved not to be so and we fell behind and did not play well enough to get a result.

Carlisle 1-2 Port Vale Kakuta(2)

MOM- Gael Kakuta 8.7

Well, our away form seems to be very good and we continued it today with a great win at Carlisle today and after a disruption with a die hard fan Alfonso Sanchez being thrown out after throwing a coin at a Carlisle player, the boys did well to focus and come back with a win.

Port Vale 1-0 Swindon Gilbert

Another good win today. We played very well but their goalkeeper had one **** of a game and kept us out on several occasions. I am very grateful that we got the goal early on else we could have been denied.

Port Vale 5-1 Bristol Rovers Topp(2), Jarrett, Kakuta(2)

MOM- Gael Kakuta 8.9

Wow! I was very impressed with how the lads played today. We were expected to beat Bristol Rovers by many but I did not expect us to win so convincingly. Topp and Kakuta had a great game with a brace each and long may our form continue.

League Table

View attachment 35558

I am very pleased with our form this month and that we stay on top of the league. Hopefully, if early form is anything to go by, we will earn a much deserved promotion for our fans but there is a long way to go until the end of the season.

October Preview

In October we look forward to welcoming Oldham here for the 2nd roung of the Johnstone's Paint trophy, which I hope to win this year. We will also enjoy tough visits to Colchester and Leyton Orient and tough home games against Norwich and MK Dons.

Player of the Month

YouTube- Kakuta // Chelsea's Future

Gael Kakuta has yet again been brilliant this month. He really is turning into a star and I am surprised that Chelsea have not asked for him back yet but there again Premier League football is very different. He is fast becoming one of our greatest ever acquisitions. This month he has achieved two man of the match awards and six goals to go with it from only five appearances. I hope that Gael can continue his form for us and hope to take us to another promotion.

That Alfonso is a rascal (H)

Keep it up mate, doing really well :D

My next update will be a three month update taking us to the end of the year! You dont mind do you?

Not at all :)

Alf says 'I want to be in it'

Nice thread, just read through it all.

Interesting to see your progress, as I'm playing with Port Vale at the moment (currently stuck in mid-table of the Championship with no progress upwards anymore :() and it's nice to compare signings.

Keep it up!

Oh great mate I am glad that you have done well with them! Let me know of any signings that you would definitely reccomend! I am a fan so am enjoying leading them to success so much!

Thanks for following!:)

I am going to update this to January tomorrow night and then on Thursday you will probably get an end of season update out of me!

On second thoughts...............................

End of 2011 Update

After a great start for us, lying top of the league after September, this is how Port Vale finished off 2011. Could they push on for League One glory and establish themselves as a growing club? Lets see how they went on in the months of October, November and December.

I am a bit upset that we lost the top spot and our form after September. We have become pretty inconsistent since then but still hold a healthy league position:

Even though we looked to be going very strongly after September flying at the top of the league, I am very happy with 3rd position after 23 games. I will hope to capture maybe a couple more frees and maybe another loan signing or two to ensure that we will be playing Championship football next season.

I am very impressed with how we have performed in the FA Cup. Although we had easy tasks to get through in Hednesford and Blyth Spartans in the first and second round respectively, I was very pleased with our performance against newly promoted Championship side Southampton. We played the Saints last season on two occasions and they embarassed us at Vale Park. I am delighted to get our own back and beat them in the FA Cup. We now have a mouthwatering home tie in the fourth round against Arsenal to look forward to.

I am also very pleased with how we are cruising along in the Johnstone's Paint trophy. I hope we keep playing well in this as I think it is a great chance to bring a trophy to the club and reward the fans by giving them a final to be excited about.

This is our current first team squad in all its entirety. I believe we still need to fill a couple of gaps as I believe we have not got enough strength in depth so we will be looking to change this in the window. Our best performers have been loanee Gael Kakuta and Alex John-Baptiste. Alex has been in such impressive form that he has been attracting the likes of Premier League club Wigan for his signature. They will not be getting him though unless they meet my valluation of him which is around the £3 million pounds mark.

Other News

At the Carlisle game, a Port Vale fan was caught throwing a coin at a Carlisle player. That fan, Alfonso Sanchez was in October arrested for six months under the grounds of assault to Carlisle striker Vincent Pericard after causing bleeding from his head and causing him to go off. Alfonso is believed to be a die hard Port Vale fan but will not be happy as he is banned from coming to any of the Valiants' games.
