Newcastle have agreed a fee with a relegation-threatened club for an International midfielder. Most likely to be Birmingham's Seb Larsson.
Also, the club are expected to have a second player signed within the next two weeks, which will probably be Charles N'Zogbia

Seen some YT clips about Hazard, good player, but from what I've heard, I expected more. So, he'll come to Real or City, or he'll stay at Lille for another season ( most likely )
I think he'd rather go to Spain than England, but I'm pretty sure he's said that if he were to move to England, he'd like to go to Arsenal; French and Belgian connection, First Team opps, etc.

Yes. He's shown that he's willing to spend if it's worth it. Nasri, Arshavin for example.

Not over £20m though. Rumour has it we've made Lille an offer of £20m + Jovanovic, then if the likes of AC, Barca, Madrid, Inter get involved etc, as I suspect they will, then a bidding war will start, reaching I imagine at least around the £30m mark, an amount I just can't see Wenger spending on one player.
There isn't a specific price boundary that Wenger physically can't get over.. He'll pay what he thinks players are worth and he's spending more and more as inflation and other factors affect transfer prices.
People said he won't go over £15m for a player, yet we went over that for both Arshavin and Nasri. Wenger knows he needs to buy - partly to appease the supporters who criticize him for everything he does, and partly because there obviously are areas he needs to improve which included left-forward. I can definitely see Wenger spending £20m on Hazard but people have media inspired pre-conceptions; Wenger doesn't like English players, Wenger doesn't spend any money, Wenger can't spot a good GK, Wenger can't spot a good CB, etc.

I don't see Barca getting involved, nor Madrid tbh. Barcelona simply don't need him and their priorities are defence and a striker (Rossi). According to RTW's post earlier, Liverpool haven't made a bid. I'm not sure he'd agree to that move anyway tbh, regardless of how well-loved LFC is and how well you've done against the odds this season.
I expect Wenger would pull out if it got to £30m, because Hazard hasn't proven he's worth that. Arsenal and Lille have a good relationship, though so I can see us bidding up to just over £20m. We simply don't know, though - Wenger knows he has to answer his critics.
No I doubt Barca would get involved, but if somehow the Rossi transfer falls through then I could see them making a bid. Real Madrid I just don't know, they have Di Maria/Ronaldo/Kaka/Ozil but I wouldn't put it past them bidding. AC and Inter I can say now are interested so I'm sure they will bid. We're interested, I have my doubts that we'll get him but we have been courting him for a while, Commolli has a huge job on his hands on selling to him our 'project'; but with 3/4 teams involved, I can see the bidding reaching circa £30m.
IMO though, he'll go to either Arsenal/AC.

I remember the chat about Hazard and Sanchez in Liverpool thread.. Will see what will be the price for Hazard. I dont think it will be above 20 Million unless City/Madrid/Chelsea are interested..
