Source close to #mufc players: "The boys aren’t happy. They feel exposed by the club, uninformed, and as though the club didn’t bother to fill them in or consult the players over career-influencing changes." #mulive [@lauriewhitwell]

I really do fear how this would impact the mental state of the lads. ******* criminal all this is going down in the middle of a very good run of form.

Actually worried about how this could affect players. RM and Barca, not so much. The debt and politics they face on a daily basis means this would seem like peanuts.

However, for English clubs, this is radical. Not sure how much impact it'll have on players. Even the notional thought of banning players from WC/Euros could possibly affect them.

Additionally, I'm still unsure if this will go ahead completely. OR if it will lead to a compromise in the current UEFA Champions League or w/e with concessions being made to these clubs.

Either ways, honestly, the day-in and day-out playing of super clubs against each other - the novelty would probably wear out much quicker than anything else.

🚨

| There will be a salary cap in the Super League. Clubs can only spend 55% of their revenue on salaries. @Paul_Tenorio #rmalive

WOOOOOE there just a minute.

'Good on the fans!!' .....?

What the F do our players and coaching / medical staff etc have to do with this? They've turned up to play a game of football. NOT to be abused by ignorant knobheads.
I’m sure the protests were aimed at the clubs not the players personally.

Ouch 😂

Robin Gosens (Atalanta): "If there is now a Super League in which Arsenal or Tottenham qualify forever with no sporting achievement, then football will be stripped of it's foundation." #mulive [kicker]

All about them bills 😡 least he’s got the balls to say how it is

Florentino Perez to @elchiringuitotv: "Many important clubs in Spain, Italy and UK want to find a solution to a very bad financial situation. The only way is to play more competitive games. If instead of playing the CL, Super League helps the clubs to recover the lost earnings".

Florentino Perez to Chiringuito: "Players banned from international competitions and National teams according to UEFA? Don't worry, this will NOT happen. They won't be banned if they join #SuperLeague".

Florentino Perez to Chiringuito: "Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea as the other clubs of #SuperLeague will NOT be banned from the Champions League or domestic leagues. 100%, I'm sure. Impossible".

Florentino Perez also confirmed that Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City as Manchester United and Arsenal will NOT be suspended by the Champions League and Europa League semi finals. "Impossibile, I can assure that. 100%. Seguro!".

#MUFC #MCFC #CFC #AFC #Real

Florentino Perez to Chiringuito: "PSG were NOT invited, as of today. We haven't even spoken to German clubs. We are now 12 clubs, we want to become 15 clubs. If PSG and Bayern Munich refuse, the #SuperLeague competition will not be canceled. This is a bullshit".

🚨

Florentino Perez to El Chiringuito: "Boris Johnson said he will do everything to cancel the #SuperLeague because they explained to him that the Premier League would disappear: it's false, it's not true. Everything will go back to normal...".

🚨

Florentino Perez to El Chiringuito: "If we can start the #SuperLeague in August, we would do it. We will do our best to start this year. We want to reach an agreement with UEFA and the other parties involved. We will talk with UEFA, FIFA and not only".

What must Andy Robertson, Scott McTominay and Kieran Tierney be thinking right now. Help get Scotland to a first major finals this millennium, then find out they may not be able to play in Euros because their club's owners don't like the idea other teams might be better some day

Won’t matter if the contracts are binding surely?

Hearing the first cracks may be beginning to appear in the ugly, misshapen edifice of the ESL. Told two English clubs are close to losing their nerve.
