You must be quite young as arsenal have always been in the title race since the beginning of the premier league and always been one of the top teams so if that is not being consistent then I don't know what is.

I know they are in the title race but in consistent I meant in winning trophies not positions.

 Yeh he doesn't know what he is talking about

If a player is good in the lower leagues, and then comes to the top flight would you not say he is inexperienced.
If he is buying players who have been good at the lower level of course they are gonna be inexperienced in the top flight of course and the manager knows this but he still buys them...so it sorta is his fault, but anyways I'm not gonna drag this on lets just agree to disagree ;)

Yes, that would mean he is inexperienced. You're now repeating what I said.
It's not his fault. Read what I said.

Blame doesn't come into it as it is not failure, it is just a consequence or an obstacle. It's nothing to do with blame or fault.

But yeah, clearly we're never going to agree.

Tbh in the 5 years they haven't won a trophy, their squad has been much weaker then it was so still being in the title race with a weaker squad is quite an achievement imo.

I meant trophy wise, and I do know what I am talking about, thank you very much ;)

Yeah but whose fault is that exactly......the manager!

This is another reason I think Wenger is slightly better.

It isn't anyones fault. It is just a consequence of buying inexperienced players. BLAME DOES NOT COME INTO IT.

Yeah it's his fault he bought young and experience players but they should benifit from that now and they have come across a very strong Man Utd and Chelsea squads in the past 5 years.

Edit - Actually it's not his fault as he has had financial restrictions since they built the Emirates.

I changed my mind after seeing whatFergie and Mourinho have achieved n the past decade and when youc ompare it to Wenger's CV its sigtly barren

Mourinho
Porto (2002–2004)
Chelsea (2004–2007)
Internazionale (2008–2010)
The Treble (League, Cup and European trophy)
Individual

I Support united, but have to admit this was MOURINHO decade., Fergie ruled the 90's n comes a close 2nd this decade.

Arsene wenger should be like 4th or 5th, not champions leagues or no silverwhere for half of the decade, poor VOTING!

Well in Mr. Wenger.

Now win us some ******* silverware! XD

Might be, might not be. We'll find out by March.

I Cant Understand why people think that Fergie and Mourinho should have won !!

Look at the money they have spent on players, ill just name a few:

Fergie:

Berbatov - £31,000,000
Rooney - £27,000,000
Carrick - £14,000,000
Hargreaves - £17,000,000
Anderson - £16,000,000
Nani - £17,000,000
Ferdinand - £29,000,000
Alan Smith - £7,000,000
Kleberson - £6,000,000
Forlan - £7,500,000
Djemba Djemba - £3,500,000
Veron - £28,000,000

Mourinhio:

Ferriera - £13,250,000
Drogba - £24,000,000
Carvalho - £20,000,000
Di Maria - £22,000,000
Ozil - £16,000,000
Essien - £33,000,000
Malouda - £18,000,000
Anelka - £15,000,000
Boswinga - £18,000,000
Khedira - £13,000,000
Sneider - £13,000,000

Wenger:

Clichy - £250,000
Fabregas - £0
Vermealen - £9,000,000
Sagna - £7,500,000
Van Persie - £2,800,000
Bendtner - £75,000
Song - £1,000,000
Vela - £130,000
Viera - £3,000,000
Henry - £7,000,000
Freddi Lundberg - £3,000,000

Wenger has always finished for a champions league spot, so I cant see how you can say that fergie or Mourinhio should be number 1 as look at the money they have spent, and im sure if wenger had that money to spend he would be a lot more succesful than the pair of them.

And why are lower league managers never up their like Dario Gradi and Sean O'Driscoll.
