What do you want to see in FM 2015

Remove attributes? you don't have them in real life

I don't mean remove them from the game, just remove them from sight, replace with with tests like "This player lacks the potential to cut through defenses but can assist others in doing so".

How would you tell how good a player is without seeing these attributes?

In the game, instead of attributes they'll have youtube clips with bad music showcasing the players' strengths

I think it would be great to take over as a manager and continue the career.
Example: take jurgen klopp and continue his project at Dortmund instead of a new manager kicking him out so he starts somewhere else?

also youth academies worldwide, so you have more choice over regens

not sure if it's in game, but something similar to the Milan health thing? Can't remember name, google it :p so old players can play well into 30's like Milan 05? :p some people will know what I mean.

point 1 is my main wish anyway!

the first point is a great idea, it would also be a lot of fun. Suppose you take over a manager and how you perform increases or decreases his reputation, having an effect on his future and what job's he gets. With the current system, its the same old manager merry go round until atleast 2018.

Would love for them to make a 'director of football mode' where you still buy and sell players, hire and fire staff but everything else is left to the manager such as tactics, training etc. Would be a bit like football manager classic but even more streamlined.

Should also be able to take on the role of a current in game manager, carry on from where they left off and determine the rest of their career for yourself.

More interim managers and being able to be hired as one with the possibility of getting the job if you perform well.

I just won't be buying it full stop. FM14 is awful so I've gone back to FM13.

But what really hacks me off is SI. Their "it's your tactics" and "our match engine is perfect" attitude, together with their "we'll close any thread with a criticism in it" policy means my cash shall be staying firmly in my pocket. :D

Sadly they now have such big heads they don't deserve my money.

They are right, it is your tactics. The fact is the match engine is what it is and you have to adapt to how the match engine is, not just moan that your tactics doesn't work( and that's coming from someone who also struggles to adapt to the match engine at times as I always try to play a similar way, but when it doesn't work I don't blame the creators, they made the game what it is and left it for players to either adapt to suit the game or struggle, simple as that mate)

Spoken like a SI employee.

Seeing as they can't even get certain screens correct or get the game to remember how you set up your tactics screen what makes you think the more complicated match engine is any better?

It's awful.

Transfers

What ruins it a bit for me is how easy it is to keep my star players. I almost never have to sell anyone, if I dont want to. This also apply to clubs controlled by the AI, they keep their star players throughout their whole career far too often to be in any way realistic

I'm not saying the game is perfect, far from it, it ****** me off aswell. But we have to accept how the match engine is and adapt to it,there is no point in just complaining when the tactic you want to use doesn't work. Adapt your tactic to the match engine and you'll be fine

If and when you leave a club for another job i think it would be good if you could recommend someone for the job, i.e. your assistant or Under 19's Manager. Would be a good way of showing the club you care. I have often left clubs and had great coaches in charge of dominant under 19's teams and they don't even get a look in when it comes to the job.

Just an idea.

1. Its up to you what to do.
2. It IS your tactics whatever you say. Actually FM14 for me is the easiest version yet in that the first tactics I constructed proved to be a winning tactic with each and every team Ive tried it with. Plus its the easiest version to ensure you dont concede in the last minutes (still happens but rarely).
3. Match engine is not perfect but at the same time its not broken. Its actually better than in FM13. Again it IS your tactics.
4. Who exactly closes threads with criticism?! This is FMBase last time I checked not SI Forum. Plus only threads with criticism that are ever closed are those which infringe forum rules - eg: DONT START COMPLAINT THREADS POST EVERYTHING IN POST YOUR FRUSTRATIONS THREAD.

This will be my very first time talking about FM 2015 so I even did not have time to think about it at all.
For now I only remember two things:

. Gotta be much easier to sell or loan out players, specially when the selling or loan out conditions are good. In real life it's almost always easy to find a club for a player, no matter the division, country or value. What can happen is that the player himself doesn't want to go to the options found but sooner or later he leaves.

. Since I'm a football shirts lover and collector, I would like to see that part of the game improved. Based on the default kit templates given by the game, you should be able to:

A) Add and replace kit sets for both field players and goalkeepers. The existence of Home and Away kits plus, at least, 1 goalkeeper kit would be mandatory, but besisdes that you should be able to add 1 or 2 extra goalkeeper kits and the Third and Fourth filed player kits. You should be able the change kit design and colour combinations for shirt, shorts and socks. To be more realistic you should only be allowed to change the kit sets once per year but during the season you should be able to create new Third or Fourth kits in case they don't exist. On special events, which are rare, you should also be able to create a new kit set of Home + Away kits just for the occasion (just if you want to).

B) A wider collection of default kit templates should be created so you have a lot more options to choose from, I think it would be awesome to see many templates similar to real templates used by sport suppliers (although not mentioning the name or even being exactly the same the design to avoid copyright issues).

C) Just like happens in the official external editor, when creating/editing every item of the kit set (shirt, shorts and socks) you should be able to define on which competition you want them to be considered as default selections.

D) You should have the option to change those default selections before the match starts, but those chances are only valid for that match in question, after that the default selections are back for the following matches. You should be able to cicle between all shirts, shorts and socks available for your kit so you can mix and match just like happens in real life. For example, I'm managing AC Milan, which wears white shorts on the default home kit, when I play against another team with white shorts I can decide to go to the pitch wearing black shorts instead, the same for the socks, all of this still using the default home shirt. The same happens for the goalkeeper kit set (the use of Away, Third and Fourth filed player shirts should also be made available to be used by the goalkeepers besides the default kits he has - in real life some gk like to do this).

E) To help all of this work in a realistic way, information of which kit combinations the opposite field players and goalkeeper + referees team will be wearing is crucial. I'm tired to see FM using the referee colours equal to one of the team's shirts or gk, it's confusing and not realistic.

. Although there's not need to create exact colour and design of real life football balls used in the national championships around the globe, it would be nice to see some design and colour on the actual palin white ball used in the 3D matches. Due to the tiny size of the ball, no complex work would be needed.

. If we compare each new version of the game since the 3D match engine was launched we can verify that year after year there was an evolution, I believe on this 2014 edition that evolution was a little bit more evident, I DO want to see the evolution keep growing year after year, adding more movements, more play options, more realism, better AI, better and more freedom to goalkeepers movements and saves, and so on. Besisdes that evolution, there's a KEY factor I want to be kept as always, the type and size of the palyers, I like it that way, maybe I want more detail on each but NO WAY I want a FIFA or PES game on FM, that would kill the 3D match for me.

For now that's it!

Strikers that can actually score in anything but the Target man role...

Have you tried playing an Advanced Fwd with Inside Fwds on the wings? Sturridge has 24 goals in 21 apps for me in that role.

You realize this a football manager gamer right? A,B,C,D and E are all the same question lol as your theory on loaning and selling payers thats simply not true

Yeah, I have tried every role and the only one that seems to score the chances is target man, anytime break one on one the keeper saves.

It would be nice if there was not a fixed PA.
For example: Fabio Coentrao had a low PA. But he had two very good seasons at Benfica and ended up at Real Madrid, and FM had to change his PA.
Same as Falcao, he had a low PA. But again played two great seasons with Porto and now he has a very high PA/CA.

Because the way the game is now, it's like it's not worth giving opportunities to player's that don't have good PA because you know they will never get much better (while reality show's that this is not allways the case)
