Yeah, I mean it's doable through the channel, just a waste of resources for all that fleet building and doctrine development. I remember it took me like 200 subs to do it through the channel, the small RN fleet guarding north of UK goes down to quarter of that. Can probably take UK with just the fleet Italy starts with by 1937, if you do Denmark first. Then once you add UK shipyards to your own you can build as big of a fleet as you want.

Took me several invasions to figure that out, I tried both paratroopers and massive fleets, it was successful but a huge strain on my industry for all that build up that ultimately wasn't needed. Going with paratroopers through the channel was probably the worst, they have thousands and thousands of planes over there.

And yeah, the AI keeps pumping out some ****** 3 battallion divisions which causes all the late game lag. They really need to fix that pronto, I usually just abandon the saves by 1943 because the lag brings my PC to it's knees.

starting the world war that early kills your PC, must be because with threat going over 100 in '37 every country must react s'38 they have pumped out shitoads of units. Ill just dabble now to get the achievement but no more serious games till we get the patch which I am hoping for later this month or early September oh well no mans sky tomorrow!

World of Warships.
Could parents PLEASE stop setting your seven year old up with accounts and using the PC as a babysitter.

We don't need kids in huge Battleships hanging at the back, avoiding the battle because they think they should "protect the aircraft carrier" :@

But they can't be kids?
When they die miserably without contributing anything to the effort, they all say they are going to f**k my mum and gouge out my eyeballs and skullf**k me.

;)

been playing no mans sky all day, and I am not quite sure what to make of it, it captures the vastness of space and exploring and crafting is really fun, but god is it a walking simulator at times! Really enjoyable though, so much fun to be had and I hope the lore goes deep as you make sense of the unverse around you and what has happened and is currently happening. nearly bought a bigger ship but I am saving my credits up to get one of the hard ones!

I've watched a bunch of videos, just seems the kind of game thats cool for max 20 hours then the novelty wears off and you're bored

Its a lot like grinding in an MMO tbh but it is fun, finding lots of stuff all the time, next update is going to introduce base building and the ability to buy the big frieghter ships which is good and will change the trading game. But it needs more diplomacy and needs to feel a bit more alive with more NPC and MP interaction feels like co op would work great as well tbh. I just want a new ship so I am grinding the economy right now halfway to the one I want with 800k sitting in my bank

Now that sounds more interesting!

Gathering stuff from planets to create. I'd like that!

Yeah weird how they handled the multiplayer, or lack of

I can bet a dollar that it's your typical game that seems like a second coming for first 20 hours only to get god-*** repetitive shortly after. The technology is not yet up there to handle procedural generation of entire planets on such a large scale.

Well I've caved. I resubbed to WoW for the Demon Invasion event and I've pre-ordered Legion. It's been a blast (also helped by having a 3 month break from the game), and it "feels" like WoW used to be. More people in the open world, helping each other. Not like WoD. Cities are actually alive now and people aren't just sitting in their garrisons. And I have to say aswell. The Broken Shore cinematics for the Alliance....jesus wept. I haven't seen the Horde one though. Though be realistic-Horde is for plebs ( Kappa). They've once again raised the bar for cinematics and music. Absolutely outstanding.

I've already clocked 24 hours gameplay in a couple of days. It's like trying to go clean after years of abusing drugs. You do well for 3 months, then get the slightest wiff and BAM!! You're hooked again.

Well played Blizzard. Well played.

I'm not going to roll a Demon Hunter myself. Sticking with Holy Priest and Paladin and also Fire Mage for non-healing class. I'll have to roll a Horde toon though as I want to the see other side of the story re: Broken Shore invasion and get some new lore to help understand things further down the line.

From what I'm hearing from beta testers there's going to be an absolute tonne to do in the game compared to WoD and it's going to be a lot more enjoyable. And I have a feeling aswell after experiencing Broken Shore, Blizzard are going to be messing with peoples feels throughout the expansion. I was completely blindsided by what I saw after avoiding the spoilers

horde cutseen is better i think

HoI patch notes don't look promising...apparently they're adding sliders so you can make a custom difficulty and basically buff your opponents. This reeks of "we can't fix the AI anytime soon, so we'll just make them produce more".
