What Roles and Duty's best suit my players?

i think this should be possible if you play them and keep them training in that position you only have to look at Dirk Kuyt to prove this can be done

It is possible but it can take ages, usually takes afew years I think
 
Im having a bit of trouble getting the most out of my players at the moment i used JP WOODY V3.1 (3-1-2-1-3) formation in previous saves and had a alot of success with it. I've started a new save now with Arsenal and bought a few players in (Montolivo, Annan, Zapata, Adler) the main ones. My starting eleven is usually this (depending on wether i use 3 or 4 defenders)
GK - Adler
LB - Clichy/Coentrao
CB - Vermalen
CB - Zapata
RB - Sagna/Srna
DM - Song/Kehl/Senna
CM - Montolivo/Annan (Box To Box)
CM - Fabregas
LM - Nasri
RM - Arshavin/Walcot
ST - Van Persie/Chamakh/Vela
Any suggestions on Roles/Dutys or a tactic which would suit these players will be much appreciated.

Gael Clichy - full back - automatic
Fábio Coentrão - wing back - automatic
Christian Zapata - CB - Cover
Thomas Vermaelen - Ball playing defender - stopper
Bakary Sagna - full back - automatic
Darjo Srna - wing back - automatic
Song - DMC - Anchor Man
Anthony Annan - MC - Ball wining midfielder - defend, because he doesnt have such great technique
Marcos Senna - DMC - defensive midfielder - support
Cesc fabregas - MC - Advanced Playmaker(best role, but hecan also do Box to Box midfielder) - attack
Nasri - AML - Advanced Playmaker - support
Arshavin - AML - Inside Foward - attack
Walcott - AMR - Inside foward - attack
Van Persie - deep Lying Foward
Vela - trequartista
Chamack - target man attack
Montolivo - AMC - Advanced playmaker or Trequartista

And have you got any tips for his player instructions ? Like run with ball etc.....

I've used Chamakh as a Defensive Forward (Attack), got 17 in 19 so i'd go or that role for him.
 
I use Mr Hough's tactic and have Dzeko-Crouch-Pavlyuchenko-Defoe-Lukaku at the club.Im in my 1st season,which three should I play and what roles?

Dzeko - target man - support
Defoe - poacher
Lukaku - Target man - attack
Crouch - Target Man - support
Pavlyuchenko - Deep Lying Foward

I suppose Dzeko, Defoe and Pavlyuchenko mate :)

Cardozo and Owen.. Should they be Poachers.. Target Men.. or Advanced Forwards?? Cuz so far they stink for me.. and I dunno wat to do :(

DC - Bruno Alves - Ball Playing Defender (Cover)
DC - Nicholas Otamendi - Defender Centre (Defend)
MC - Moussa Sissoko - Box to Box Midfielder (Cover) (Long Shots often)
MC - Raul Meireles - Deep Lying Playmaker (Cover) (Long Shots often)
AMR - Stevan Jovetic - Advance Playmaker (Attack)
AML - Cristian Rodrizguez - Winger (Attack)
FC - Falcao - Poacher (Attack)
FC - Hulk - Deep Lying Forward (Support)

Also have some good covering players like:-

Orlando Sa
Fernando

Also, I know this kind of strays off topic but any idea where needs improvement, just started second season.
