End Of Season Stats and Awards - May 2016
Season Summary
Well it was an amazing season ending in heartache, We got further than anyone would have expected in Europe going all the way to the Semi Finals before losing to the eventual winners Barcelona.
We went almost the entire league season undefeated before losing the last game and the title on the last day of the season but didnt finish the year empty handed as we retained our German Cup with a win over Dortmund.

Top Goalscorer - Edin Dzeko - 33 Goals

What a season for club Legend Edin Dzeko as he smashes in 33 goals leading the way as the German Leagues Top Goalscorer and he even turned provider with 10 assists.
Player of the Year - Kevin De Bruyne

16 goals and 20 assists for the Belgian who is now considered one of the best players in the German League and had an amazing 7.23 average rating from over 50 odd games.
Young Player of the Year - Ricardo Rodriguez

He had the highest average rating of the entire team this season and is one of the best Left Backs in the world and is only going to get better the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and PSG have put bids in for him but only around £20 Odd Million too small amount for this awesome player.

Great finish to the season mate. Very close to Bayern, hopefully you can go one better next season and end their run. Also, a fair performance against Barcelona and unlucky not to be in a better position after that 1st leg. Excited for the new season.
Thanks mate, i know its going to take some doing to end Bayerns dominance but i think a couple of good transfers in the summer and we could do it our main problem is we only seem to manage to draw with them a couple of wins in the league against them would work wonders.

It was around £50Million again but i have already spent some of the money and wiggled the wage budget around a bit.
Players Out
So it was a pretty productive window as i sold 5 fringe players from the squad and made almost £40Million. First off Luis Gustavo joined Real Madrid for £11.25Million as he was unwanted and on over £120k a week! Next up was little known prospect Malanda who went to Spain also linking up with Real Sociedad for a decent £10Million.
Second choice keeper Cilliessen moved back to Holland linking up with PSV for £8.25Million whilst Dutch compatriot Van Rijn joined Mainz for a nominal fee.
The final transfer out was German Marko Marin who joined Bordeaux for just less than what we bought him from Chelsea for.
I also tried to sell Benaglio and Naldo but neither were wanted even when offered out on free transfers, Naldo is well into his thirties now and on big money whereas Benaglio has been replaced but his move out fell through

I was actually looking for a backup Keeper in the anticipation that we were selling Benaglio but our Head of Youth bought this guy anyway and hes not a terrible prospect.

Hes a briliant free transfer buy and was brought in as cover in defense but looking at him now he could probably take Right Back Trasch's place in the starting lineup if he does well.

Well defeated in a terrible game for us, this was before a few of the changes i made in the transfer window and was definitly the main reason why i brought in a couple more players.

Well after the loss to Bayern a 12-0 win in the cup was exactly what we needed with Mario Gotze bashing in 5 goals!
We then beat newly promoted St Pauli 5-0 before struggling to a draw with Dortmund after leading for a large chunk of the game.
We ended the month with a couple more impressive wins in the league with Mario Gotze on fire at the moment scoring another 3 goals.
