I hate regen faces, why cant you just send in a picture of your face if you're at a certain age to FM and they put them on some random regen in the next game, would be so good!

Because then you'd end up with 500GB of random faces for you to install.

I don't sign ugly players. If the facepack picture isn't good, I'm sorry. I need my team to look good on and off the pitch.

When I've had a player at my club for a long time (8+ seasons), I usually grow really attached to him, as I normally sell my players at their peak to cash in, and buy someone younger. However, when I've had a player for a long time, I tend to 'retire' his number. Like Jamie Carragher at Liverpool. No one is getting the No. 23, as it would just seem weird.

Likewise, when a player retires under me, I try to sign him for my backroom staff, regardless of how awful he is.

Good point, i never think of these things!

Not going to lie though, would be a pretty sweet idea.
Just the game would be about four times the size and no doubt someone would get upset with finding their pale 14 year old spotty face on someone from some nothing town in eastern Africa or something.

haha, finding out you are the next Joey Barton, ffs

Usually as I load up my Man United save I light all of my candles, I turn off the lights and then take the Goat up to the alter. I do my match prep, selecting all of my best players then go to match day. I light some incense and begin my chanting as I sacrifice the goat to the gods while praying for a win. I then play the game and lose to Crystal Palace 3-0 before rage quitting and then going to the corner for a bit of a cry.

Anyone else do this?

The most common its the commentary, its a fan favorite I believe.

David Moyes?

i dont know why but in the match my mouse must be on the side of the screen that im attacking. and less of a weird habit and more of a tactical preference but i always have to play a flat back 4 with 1 cb being a stopper and the other being a cover

THIS, I do the same.

Just spotted this thread and it made me feel more normal. I have been a long time CM/FM player since i bought the original CM on my Amiga 500+. Here are some of mine:

When I am at work in my head I make up headlines for myself/team/players
I make up my own rumours surrounding my future and my players
I have shaken door handles whilst pretending it was the opposition managers hand.
I always put in place a strict wage structure and never sign anyone that wants more wages
Never make unrealistic signings
No matter what side I am I always like to sign young players and develop them.
When I score in matches imagine how the boys on sky sports soccer saturday would report on it if they were watching it.
Advise any players over 30 to quit international football
When I reach a cup final I feel guilty about the players I have to leave out

Exactly the same with me, and also, my left MC is Always the more defensive MC. Great thread idea BTW

That's the same with me, but my RCM is the defensive one. That's also because my LCB is a stopper and my RCB is a cover

I always do that!!I had Gabbiadini in sampdoria. He never wanted to leave the club, he made 533 league appearances (600+ with cup and european competitions) and 234 league goals which are the club's record!! A true legend...

I am now trying to do that with a 17 year old medfielder in aston villa. I love this game lol

One thing I've noticed about my-self when I'm playing FM.

On match day, I always have my arms crossed watching the game. I don't know why, I can't stop my-self.

I hate that I do it. I can't put my finger on why I do it either.

Strange...

Just me who masturbates during loading screens then I take it....
