3-4-2-1 No striker tactic - CCC:s Gold!

Been using this tactic with Schalke, I was rather sceptical as to how it work seeing as theres no strikers but WOW

Check out my league position and results, My only tweak was taking a page out of zero sea's book and swapping the wing backs so the left footer is on the right and the right footer is on the left which suprisingly works quite well. Great tactic to the guys who made this well done lads !

which version you using?
 
View attachment 430796 here's tyhe re-run of the chelsea match. won 3-2, created 5 CCC and allowed 2. they scored from a corner and open play. great result! will run through the this and the everton game one more time.
 
Veez - keep us updated in your tweaks as it seems you've managed to find some consistency with your results, which I have struggled with.

in relation to last tweak from SicSyco i've reduced closing down on some players, reduced tight marking, added direct passing to WB's and DLP's, and one or two more tweaks. had to step out for a minute and will start the final re-run against everton and chelsea now. if results are still consistent i will post!

direct pass to wingers so they can do more T-balls?

DLPs is where are the DMC?

Sometimes, this guys under pressure give up the ball very easy... maybe that's why more direct can work, no?

Also, the tight marking is in the WBs? most of my goals come from crosses...

i agree with DLP's but not tight marking. removed on all players and havent conceeded a cross yet. 80% of goals are coming from set-pieces
 
View attachment 430733View attachment 430732 final re-reun against everton done. should've won again! this game is really getting on my nerves now.... conceeded 2 goals from corners!!!! conceeded from set-pieces in all re-runs of this game and the chelsea game. completely ridiculous. still a good performance though, they caused no danger appart from set-pieces and one or two bad passes in dangerous positions from our defensive players (patch bug too), although my defence doesnt have very good passing, which is essential in this tactic i believe.
 
Veez - is there a way to get a bit more possession without compromising the results? There is a guy on Sigames forums who posted up a similar tactic which seems to get results and keep decent possession.

havent had a look at that yet, mind posting a link please?

we can try adding instructions to retain posession and maybe play control instead of attack
