You set the wingers to man mark opposition wingers and F9s to man mark full backs, right? But depending on the opposition's formation, the man marking is wrong. For example, in my first game my ML was marking the opposition MC... also the opposition may not be using wingers or full backs... the only way to ensure that the man marking is set correctly is to set it manually before each game.
 
**** this never happened to me before: juventus wanted to sign me as their manager but atletico refused to let me go

If the opposition doesn't use wingers remove the man marking in game for the wingers on your side. If opposition plays with WBs then remove all marking but typical 442 and 451 variety keep them on.

Simple enough really

Season is over, im 2, med.pred. 16, v2 played a few games, all them i won ;-)

last season I won the double la liga (my second) and the spanish cup. in champions cup I got beaten by chelsea (they won the competition later) in the semi finals

but the finances didnt really improve and I didnt receive some quality offers for my players :(

the third season worked well too, from 18 games in la liga I won 16 and 5 from 6 in champions cup group stage (Although I've to say a holidayed most of the season)

I was getting a bit bored, winning almost everything a not improving the finances. (I really liked to create finance monsters in FM).

So during January barcelona sacked their managers (lying on the 6th place) and signed Juventus managers. Juventus wanted to sign me (as already described).

I quickly resigned and signed for them. It works really good for Juventus too, currently on course to win the treble: Serie A winners, Champions Cup and Italian Cup finalists

has anyone changed striker roles? im not a fan of false 9 not many of them about until you can build a fresh regen

I only use the F9 on the tactic because of the way they mover and act in the ME. I have tried other vairents and combinations but found the F9s to be the best for the team. I typically use complete forwards in the positions like in boro save I have belotti and afobe up front both can do everything pretty well without specialising in any one role. Let me know how you get on with the tactic and if you find another version to the striker front let us know.

I'm trying a amc SS and AF striker at and the results are similar just feels a tad narrow. I'll post up if I can get it to work r if it's an improvement

This tactic does have a fell of a diablo about it tbh just submit team and win every game. Don't get me wrong it's fantastic but can get a bit stale. Great work man keep it up. Won't take much to win everything with juventus

i dont mind 1 F9 i just prefer somthing different up to with them
 
what do people normally do before a match? do you clear assistant manager opposition instructions and have none?

Very good results en then a 9-1 defeat also against Arsenal .
Maybe this not work against Arsenal .

Ouch!!!!!! Is that first season and with the v1 or v2.0. What players have you signed if any. Because as far as I'm aware Liverpool defence is rather weak and slow which isn't the best thing for this tactic. Majority of the time this tactic needs quick CBs especially in terms wider of the 3. I retrain full backstory to play at CBand it works a dream. If you can't find quick CBS then tall full backs are the next best thing

My general feelin is that V2 is a little less possession, but feels a lot mer realiable in scoring and winning games, and thats usually the "thing" with FM. Extremely high possession-tactics(65+) usually dont generate a lot of goals. It feels like the rule of the game (or previous games at least) is: the more possesion, the more your team is passing the ball around, the less time you have for scoring and thus, the less you score.

4 games with V2 has around 55% possession, while 2 games have 60+. Very good.
