Short and Sweet works perfectly, Carrick is a god in that CM role. I find that Gylfi sigurosson does really well along side him. I brought in Marco Verratti as well as 'One for the future' played him a couple of games and he could become a good replacement for Carrick...However, Jordan Mutch looks really good
 
So I finished my season today and what a season it turned out to be. I used the original Might & Magic for almost the entire season apart from 2 or 3 tough CL games against City and Barca away and against Real in the final. I just moved the STCL to DM, changed his role to Anchorman - Defend, unticked all his PI's and unticked the Use Playmaker option as suggested by Raikan in his thread.

I drew 2 and lost 1 of the last 3 games in the league, I put out my reserve side as I had already won.

I beat City 5 times in 5 games this season. Home and away in the League, twice in the CL semi's (home and away) and in the FA Cup final.

Hi Guys..
So i decided to start a New Manchester Utd save with 15 Nations and a large DB with 64000 players:)...

I chose to challenge for the title giving me a £17m budget an £1.6m wages and i think ive done well with the money...My aim is to try and win a Cup and do well in the league and champo league:).

Im thinking of selling either Nani or Valencia and bringing in Hulk(what do you guys think)..

Iv'e had a good pre-season and just won City 2-1 in community shield coming back from 1-0 down:)

Iv'e also gonna hopefully sign Marc-Andre ter Stegan from Gladbach in either January or next season but iv'e got a scout watching him so im gonna be informed if there other bids etc for him..
 
I would keep both. Valencia is a good option to have in the big games.
 
Is it just me or is Gomes (Tottenham) so overrated, he always get a 9 rating when against me and beacuse of him I cant score any, which make me angry as I dominate the whole game with a 75% possession and make over 10 shots on goal.

In the Pre-season transfer window, so far I have bought Angel Di Maria for £12.5M and Fellaini for £11.5M. Do you guys think I need a creative MC as well? I have Anderson, Cleverly and Carrick at the moment.

If so, who would you recommend? I was looking at Marvin Martin who is going for £16M but I am not sure. Eriksen was bought by Birmingam for £7.5M so I missed out there :/

Marvin is a great player! I would also look at the availability of Nuri Sahin, Hamsik, Thiago, Javi Martinez as well ;0
 
Hamsik is available for £22M so it is between him and Martin, who would you suggest Raikan?
 
Hamsik for the extra £6m, he is more of a complete midfielder than Martin as Martin will need retraining to become natural at Cm and does not have the required defensive capabilties that Hamsik offers (well Hamsik is better) :)
 
Hi Dave, leave Rooney, how well did he do in the season before?? :)

yeah, perfect for the Short and Sweet :) however, I would make Carrick the central playmaker, Eriksen has run with ball often PPM and would benefit the team further upfield, so swap those around, plus Carrick is a better passer of the ball :)

This is my new save with more leagues and players so still in first season going ok lost away at Spurs1-0:( and drewat home with Wolves 2-2(equalised in 90min):'(..But going ok..

But i posted screenshots of my other Utd save earlyer in this thread won everything apart from CL lost in final 3-0 to Barca:'(

Hi guys, just start a new MU save game, would like to know any great staff to sign during the early game period? so that each of the training section has full star (if possible)?
