Unfortunately I have exams and coursework in at uni for this week so its been really hard to get on fm and actually do it :/

February - March 2017
Injuries have ruined us!

So as you can see, February was absolutely incredible for us as we went the whole month unbeaten, and also managed to record some big wins such as the 6-0 thrashing of Elche and the 5-1 hammering of Esponyol!
But in March, the injuries really hit us hard as we are now starting to struggle to make chances count up top with us now having no natural wingers in our side due to the injuries to Bernard and Lamela, I can really see the last couple of months of this season to be a real struggle!
Also the formation change hasn't really taken effect so far, as we have had to go for a 4231 narrow formation, but we just need to get used to it.

Even with our poor form in March in the league, we still manage to sit top of the table, 12 points clear of Madrid, I think even though it may be a bit of a struggle now due to injuries, I think we still have enough in us to make sure we get the required 13 points we need to win the league!

Champions Cup

So in our first game with a formation change after losing Lamela, Dortmund showed us we really need a bit more depth on the wings in case of things like this as they completely destroyed us, at home as well, and we are now going to have to wait for another season to get the Champions Cup back.

So even with the injuries, we have managed to make it to the final of the Spanish Cup! We will be playing Sevilla who we beat mid February, but we need to hope this formation change has taken affect by then and that we can win it!

An excellent performance from us as we dominated Serbia and got a very comfortable win, although obviously disappointed we conceded in the last minute as a clean sheet would have been nice!

We win the league by 12 points, storming to the title, as we lose just 2 games all season!
Maybe if we don't get the poor luck we had regarding injuries we will be able to go the entire league season unbeaten next season!

Costa had an absolutely incredible season yet again, this man is just crazy good as he bangs in 46 goals in 53 games, and was our highest average rating player this season! Again!

At just 23 this lad is already amazing! Had a great season for us as he scores 15 goals and helps out with 31 assists as he makes a massive 70! appearances this season! Still has room to develop as well and will surely become, and probably already is, one of the best players in the world!

2 great young players will be joining us at the start of the summer, definitely of course for the future, and probably will be best suited to going out on loan for a few seasons yet to get the experience they need!
Papadopoulos will be leaving us in the summer for 12.75 Million to PSG as he got a bit moany about not getting to play much, but with players such as Marquinhos and Balanta he was never going to get to play, and with us making a bit of profit on him, good for both sides.

So, apologies first of all for it taking so long to get my stint finished, but with exams and everything I just didn't have the time!

That is quite an alright deal... especially as I think Digne has the ability to step up to replace him.
Only issue would be whether you would be able to find a decent back up or replacement to come in as Left Back is a position where most of the best players have already been signed...
If you also think Digne has the capability to step up then go for it! Also as Balanta can cover LB as well
Cool man will see if i can squeeze them for a few extra pennies, our transfer budget for the new season is ?4Million DOH!

So after massive spending last season the almost a quarter of a Billion! (?250Million) the club posted big losses and gave me a short leash for spending this season.

So we were given no extra wage budget and a mere ?6 Million to play with in the transfer budget so i looked into selling one of our stars as teams came in for the likes of Ocampos,Bernard, Kondogbia and Rodriguez.
Man City offered ?36Million for left back Rodriguez which i accepted but then cancelled at the last minute

The reason being as right before this i sold Romeu to Barcelona for ?10Million and realised we will only get 10% of any incoming transfer money so immediately cancelled the Rodriguez deal and all but decided that i would not sell anyone else for that sort of return.

6 wins from 9 in the opening couple of months of the season with a poor losses to Villareal and Chelsea costing us big early on in the season with Lamela, Florenzi and the ever present Diego Costa on form for the club as i carry on using the Atletico 4-3-3 tactic that was already in place and worked so well for the previous player last season.
