I like defensive in this tactic, really man! I will post some screens from Chelsea tomorrow! Thanks.

how did your forward do with this tactic? played two so far both away with man u won 2-0 and 4-0 but both games van persie 6.5 were as rooney behind 8 and 9.6 assist in 1st match goal 2 assists in second

I'm at pre-season with my liverpool save, slightly different team than the starting team but still my team's best attribute is work rate, best in the league, and I rarely bring players in that have low teamwork and I feel it will work well with the team I've got here as my possession tactics are failing me since the update. I will post my results, but I have one major question. This tactic seems very unbalanced, as the right full back looks to be a lot more attacking, as does the right winger. but according to your screenshots the movement looks very even. I'm wondering how that is. Did you do this because your right back is more talented offensively than your left? Is this a significant part of the tactic? if I need it the other way around, should I flip the whole team's roles? (meaning make the left winger attacking, move the BWM to the right etc.)

Both my Striker and AMC perform well when I use this tactic and that's with RVP and Rooney. Give it a few more games and see if the same happens. If not, you can try switching the striker to a DLF Attack role. That may help. Let us know how it goes.

That's an interesting question actually. I'll be honest, at first, I was trying to match the role with how Dortmund's set their players up. I initially thought Dortmund's RB is slightly more attacking. But in actually they're same whether on the offensive or defensive, my opinion. So that's why I decided to have a more attacking right full back due to my initial thought. But as I use Rafael as my main RB, he would fit the bill there and since Evra, he's getting on a bit, he would just be a FB Support. It was just to experiment how it goes at first and it seemed ok so I stuck by this. As for flipping the roles around to suit your players, I would image it would still work. Though it would need to be tested, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. You can test it and see how it goes mate if you want to flip the roles just to suit your players.

Dunno why but my strikers note is always below 6 while using this tactic. And i cant understand why. I use all strikers avalible. I tried Kozak, Fletcher, Agbonlahor and Weiman. None had any luck. Its a very good defensive tactic but on offense it rly dont creat much chances.

Try changing the striker's position in to a DLF Attack. That might help? See if that changes anything.

for me the best players in this tactic are CAM and Right Winger...

Nice tactics, been going well for me so far. However, I keep conceding goals to corners and throw ins, any suggestions besides prior match training? Also strikers for me this year just suck :( Have aguero and lewandowski, in many different striker roles and other types of tactics but they just don't perform, barring bugs/exploits.

Aguero as a SS is awesome for me 9 in his first 5 games..

Thanks I'll try it out. I'll admit I haven't tried many roles for this specific tactic but just in a general sense. I miss my sliders haha.
Btw, did you follow manutd7182's tactic to the letter or deviated/tweaked a bit? I changed the inside forwards to wingers to suit my players but not sure if it hampers the tactic.

Won with Man U 2:1 but lost against West Brom 3:0 :/ with ball possession 65% for me. In my opinion u can't play counter football when you are the one with the ball. The tackling is amazing. Pressing in midfield is amazing. But defense create gaps. U need very good central defenders, in order to keep pace with fast strikers, and anticipate those through balls. Also a funny thing is that, its a counter tactic but most goals i lose from my opponents counterattacks. Again, i have the ball, but my players don't know what they should do with it. Mostly they just play it to right winger, that act like a winger and just cross the ball into the box, trying to find a striker. But because its usually a slow, high cross, a single striker if fighting with 2 central defenders in the air for that ball.
Its a good concept, as i said, midfield is doing amazing, but u need to work on setting up those precise strikes, that Jurgen talks about, so wont only win the ball fast, but also set up a quick counterattack.

I was using aguero in Krtye's 4-4-1-1 but in any formation so far i've moved him to SS, and he's been awesome, its made little difference, in this i change the wide right to a winger to suit navas, but not the left as Silva does fine.

People have been saying the striker position hasn't been performing as well? How has yours been doing? But good to see the CAM and RW are performing good for you.

To anyone who have been struggling in getting their strikers to score. I play RVP as the striker with Rooney behind. I haven't had much problem with that. I'll admit it's not an absolute fair reflection as I use this tactic for maybe just over half of the fixtures in a season. But the thing is, the stats I have highlighted here prove that the striker here have no problem with performing and scoring. In fact I always rotate my strikers and they seem to do well still and this is the best record I've had to date with a striker. Maybe try getting a striker that would truly fit as a CF role or maybe a DLF. But I will look in to this again.

Do you make changes during the game? Sometimes, I often find teams will change their formation during the game and I always have to adapt to their change. For example, the opposition start with a flat 4-4-2 and I always instruct my players to close down the midfield and Exploit the Middle; and at half time, they change to a narrow formation such as the 4-4-2 diamond and I instruct my team to then Exploit the Flanks and show the opposition full back to their weaker foot. This is just one example. But sometimes changing when the opposition does can make a difference.
