Auction Game

Lil off topic, yesterday run went amazing, we collected enough even more then we needed so we gave rest to other organisation to buy toys for kindergarten, it is very ice to see that there are still people who wants to help :D

back to FM now, Trading round is open and now you have time till THURSDAY 15.09. at 23:00 GMT+1 to complete your team
and next friday we will finally start this :)

Well done mate, how far did you have to run?

Fair play for keeping up with all the bidding too, back in the day people used to start these up and give up half way because they didn't realise how much work it involved!

My team - pretty happy, got my 25 players with decent depth in all positions. No real superstar players. No manager yet though, forgot about that!

Thanks, I enjoy doing this kind of game, I lost interest in building teams so this is little change of pace ( I will do another auction game and in FM17)

We didnt really want to ask people to run more than they can so we had only 2 races, 5 and 10km and well i run both ( but that was mistake because I still am not fully recovered from torn ligaments) and we had kid race with prizes where they had to run 400m and had little hurdles, it was fun to see joy on innocent kid faces

btw my apologies to camusss, i made another error... You can choose any player you want instead as replacement for Nemanja Matic

RTvD, would you sell me Wenger (I assume you'd rather sell him than Jose!) to me for my remaining 3 million?

Obviously you can't use 2 managers and 3 mil is all I have and I don't have a manager!

Znik - really good midfield all round

athomash - went mad with midfielders but I think Vela could easily step up as another striker

MrWisdoman - got a very good set of young midfield players in Draxler, Schurrle, Veratti and De Bruyne!

TheBattman - Class manager (my personal favorite) Tielemans becomes possibly the best CM in the game after a couple of seasons

Indiblue - solid defense if a little short in numbers. Obviously Ronaldo will be the star player!

Nomadic, Beast of a midfield with Robben, Grizmann, Silva etc and a top striker in Benzema

Kubalionzzale - could have an awesome partnership with Romagnoli and Zouma for years

Matt419 - Pjanic will be smashing free kicks in. Koke, Gotze and Reus is a frightning 3

Lewie100 - Laporte, Ramos and Pique could be a great back 3 if you chose to go that way!

Killeroo - 3 defenders is a worry currently! Turan and Renato Sanchez will be looking to set up Giroud

Linecoigne1998 - Hazard, B Silva, Odegaard and Malcom in midfield is scary, specially in behind Zlatan!

Casmuss - set for years with Donarumma! Bacca, Dybala and Suarez is a mental front 3. Some of the mids you have are awesome too!

Osulim - Coutinho becomes a monster in any save I've had. Beradi and Lamela are class and Lukaku is brilliant

RTvD - Mata and Ozil, overload in creativity! Could do with filling out the squad now.

Webby1999 - Mad experiance in that midfield! Xavi, Iniesta and Ronaldinho bringing back Barca glory days

hansie95 - Bellerin is one of the best RBs in the game. Mental midfield with Neymar, Payet, Vidal etc

Telstar -De Rossi and Naingollan should make a great allround partnership in the middle, Totti rounding off the Roma boys

Crookdmoe - Messi.

djs1 - Great keeper and some really good young defenders. Hamsik and Pirlo pulling the strings for Bale and Alexis Sanchez.
 
I must admit Average Joe - I feel I have less individual quality than most if not all, but the squad is quite well balanced and the manager is also my favourite - the longer this save goes on, the better for us with some of our younger players! (hopefully)
 
Tomáš Rosický was in high demand! haha.

I Guess Znik had the same idea of sticking a small bid on every player just incase nobody else bid.​

I think we have similar squads mate! No super stand out names, suppose Douglas Costa or Aubamayang would be mine.

I wanted to go for pace in the attack, Costa, Aubamayang and Ben Arfa cover that. Ganso, Pastore and Wilshere sitting in the middle. Got a bigger man in Negredo and Berahino the utility man.

Defense will hopefully be good enough with the experienced Vermaalen, Kocsienly and Ivanovic in the middle
 
Sooo. Anyone who wants to sell a cheap backup LB, and trade/sell a world class CAM / ST? :)
 
Znik (Leganes) has bought 2 Brits Raheem Sterling and Aaron Ramsey from me (Malaga) for 8M and Henrik Mkhitaryan
