I might try and change my DF. Things seem to have stagnated last 3 games. Got hammered 6-2 at home to Man U in the FA Cup. Followed that up with a 2-2 draw at home to Man City with a 1-0 defeat at Spurs. More likely its the compulsory January blip though

A little more, but I think it's because it fits who I have for striker better right now. It's not a drastic difference, but more consistent good rating.
 
A team meeting and the signing of Mattia Destro might hopefully turn our fortunes around.
 
Would the tactic be more solid at defence and offence if we change trio in the center [MCL(BWMs)-MCR(CMa)-AMC(APa)] to [DM(Regista)-MCL(APa)-MCR(Roaming-S)]?

Happens to me too, every single January in FM15. And always in the FA Cup.

You could try that. But it would be pretty much a completely different tactic :P

It's already strong in offense and defense, but hey, give it a go, maybe it'll be even better!
 
That's a top 4 finish clinched on April 4th then. And we're 9 points clear of 2nd place, so I'm guessing we can be champions soon. Top goalscorer, top 2 assists, tied for most clean sheets. With a media prediction of 9th at the start of the season. Not bad.

Have used your tactic since away match against Luzern. Every game the play becomes better and better.
Did not concede any goal in last 9 games.

Also I like how Defensive Forward does: automatic built-in feature forces him to mark one of central midfielder.
Wide midfielders make solid defense work as well but don't forget about attack duties.
And the play is smart and beautiful.

Nice results! Should get even better as the team learns the tactic and becomes fully fluid.
 
All right, finished Toulouse. Media prediction of 9 at the start of the season. We ended up winning the Treble :P Had the top goalscorer, top 2 assist makers, tied for most clean sheets. My striker had a 30 goal season and also had 18 assists from the DF spot.

With Stoke, we finished 4th and qualified for the Champions League. All in all, this tactic just works.

i have the best squad in fm history but trust me its not your best tactic. but brick wall is the best.. trust me everybody

Brick Wall is great if you have a big, top team (or the best squad in fm history, like you).

But Counter is amazing for all teams big and small.
