Most of the chairmen in the Premier League have started speaking about their teams positions at the half way stage of the season, and Norwich chairman Mark Kelly is the latest to weigh in with his opinion; "I'm a huge fan of Roberto, however, I must admit that I expected more, especially after the transfer dealings, bringing in Ferdinand, Rosicky and Reo-Coker.
View attachment 309102We spent very little money, but we must make sure of the financial well-being of the team, we are spending the least on wages of any team in this league. I do think we should have been in a higher league position at this time, especially now with Rio leaving after his loan deal. But I still have total confidence in Martinez, we are hopefully going to make one or two signings in the January window, to ensure Premier League survival."

Prices are a bit high aren't they?!

I was just wondering what is going to happen to our finances later in the season after we have got our television money and european deals?

Trowers: We have Shut Up the Critics!
Always speaking his mind, Scott Trowers has pointed out that all the critics have suddenly gone quiet after the club's remarkable form throughout the season. He also brought up Manchester United owner Vos's comments earlier in the season.

"I think they (the critics) have stopped talking about us now. They have nothing they can say about us. Luckily for them, Manchester United are doing dreadfully compared to how much they spent, so they can always speak about them" Trowers said in a recent press conference.

He continued, "Talking about United, didn't Vos say he thought we were no longer rivals? He was right, Manchester United are not a threat to us anymore, they are a mid-table club, and soon their finances will catch up to them. They have massive debts, and players with massive wages.

I also remember him claiming not to of heard of me. Hopefully he has now, as I can't see United fans being patient for much longer, and he'll need help when that happens."

It will be interesting to see how Vos reacts to these comments.

Tobey James has made a statement addressing his teams performance this season and has decided to Praise his manager David Moyes. He declared that he has complete faith in his manager and believes the club can finish the season off on a high. The club currently sit 9th in the table one place below their fiere rivals Liverpool. He explained that Everton are a club which is growing and that he believes in a few years the club will be one of the best teams in England.

He has also had to come out and address rival Chairmen about the availabilty of Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini adding that anyone who thinks they can sign them are delusional and that they will NOT be leaving the club anytime soon.

It's rumoured that the club will be looking for a Central Defender to sign this January due to Heitinga's departure to Arsenal in the summer.
