bornexplorer88's Chairman Game - Story

Norwich Chief: Pep May Regret Taking Chelsea Job

Outspoken Norwich City owner Mark Kelly has admitted he was, "shocked" when he discovered that Pep Guardiola had taken the Chelsea manergerial position, he said, "I was shocked when I found out, I think it is a very surprising appointment. Pep could have had his choice of any club in the world... I don't know. I doubt that Chelsea is the ideal club for him, they tend to focus more on throwing millions at the first team to improve it, while from what we have seen, Pep preferes to have players brought up together through the youth academy."

"Mr. Fukalot will have to be very astute with his dealings, and also he will have to be a lot less trigger-happy then Roman if he wishes for success for Chelsea. He will have to invest not only in the first team to tailor it for Pep, but also in the youth system."

"Yet, I think it is unfair for all these people who have dismissed him immediately. If Fukalot is patient, and willing to give Pep the money to buy who he wants, then I could be proven wrong, and it could prove to be pure genius."

Bradley Deplores "Trash-Talking" Chairmen

When asked his opinion on the current feuds flying around between the new chairmen, Bradley answered: "This kind of trash talk won't win matches. We will do our talking on the pitch"

However, when asked about Pep Guardiola's recent appointment as Chelsea manager Bradley's tune changed dramatically "The way those people at Chelsea chop and change their mind is terrible. I predict he will be packing his bags by January"

Rumours of Bradley having mild memory loss are starting to surface

MUFC Complete Swoop!
In a busy day at Manchester United the club tonight confirmed that midfielders Frank Lampard and Morgan Schneiderlin would be joining them for a combined £9.5m from Chelsea and Southampton respectively.
Vos said that the two stars would bring a certain quality to the side and the fans will certainly not disagree, Lampard, 34, has played over 400 times for Chelsea and scored nearly 200 goals, an outstanding achivement for any player, though Lampard plays as a midfielder. These signings show that United are very keen in bringing the league title back to Old Trafford.

Sources believe Vos (United Chairman) is looking for a
right back, after significantly strengthening his midfield.
He may also be looking a left back, with Baines of Everton
being a likely target.

Southampton are about to spend big, after 4/5 players left
today. The chairman is mainly looking at shoring up a leaky
defence and to improve their goalkeeper, with targets being
free agent Craig Gordan or City keeper Constel Pantillmon.

Fukalot is going to continue his rejuvanation of Chelsea,
as he looks for a new centre back, as a long term replacement
for Terry, and also some passers in midfield to aid Pep's
transition of the team.

A number of clubs have young Brazilian Adryan on their
radars. The 18 year old who plays for Flamengo has
piqued interest due to a release clause, for approx £875k

Arsenal are looking to improve their situation on the
wings, with United's Nani being looked at as a target.
The only problem being the £10m difference in opinion
in Nani's value.

Samir Nasri looks as if he is going abroad, due to a lack
of interest in the Premier League with his wages proving
a stumbling block.

Abou Diaby is going to move on loan to Reading within
the next 24 hours, and a possible future fee quoted at
around £8m

Free agent Craig Gordan is being touted by a few
managers who need to improve their GK's.

Norwich remain hopeful of keeping all of their team,
except Snodgrass who looks destined to leave, with
some interest already for the former Leeds player.

Despite this, Arsenal have begun to strengthen in
depth, and many believe that Bassong is a possibility
to move.

And Finally,

Liverpool are looking to Brazilian Kaka to provide
some flair to the team, who has been frozen out
at Real Madrid, and a £12m offer is likely to be
tabled shortly.

If anyone has gossip for tomarrow, please pm me,
and if this isnt allowed, I'm very sorry!!

Also, bold means a new piece of gossip!

Wigan issue McCarthy Warning

Wigan Chairman Ryan Kimbrell has issued a statement regarding in-demand midfielder James McCarthy. "James is a Wigan player and we wish to keep it that way. We have received multiple bids from clubs interested in his services, but at this moment we would like to make it known that it will take a substantial bid to take James away from the DW."

In other transfer news Kimbrell made it clear that Jean Beausajour was no longer needed at the club. "Jean is a fantastic winger, but our new manager does not employ wingers or wingbacks in his system. Because of this we believe it is in the best interest of all parties if Jean moved on. To facilitate this move we will consider offers below market value as well as loan offers."

Tobey James Becomes New Everton Chairman

Everton FC and it's fans haven't shed too many tears recently after Former Chairman Bill Kenwright left the club due to irreconcilable differences. The fans have always felt that Kenwright never gave the club a decent chance at climbing the Premier League table due to his lack of freeing up funds. David Moyes has always spoken reservedly about the former Chairman but even he must have been frustrated with the lack of money available to him.

Everton have swiftly unveiled the man who bought the club from Kenwright and it has gone to a man who has made his name in design technology. Tobey James who develops ideas for all the major Artificial intelligence company is one of Britains wealthiest and should hopefully dig into his pocket more so than his predecessor.

David Moyes and his backroom staff have already met their new boss and all parties feel positive about their new relationship. Moyes has been promised funds and told he has the full backing of James.

The players available to purchase are..

Jan Mucha - £2.3m
Darron Gibson - £3.8m

Moyes and Mason have also issued a hands off warning to other clubs stating that Marouane Fellaini, Leighton Baines and the clubs other top players aren't for sale.

Under New Ownership

American Experiment at an End
News has come out from Aston Villa Football Club that current owner Randy learner and Stoke born Scott Lochrie have been successful and that the club has switched hands earlier today, the news that American Randy Learner has sold the club will not come as a complete surprise too most Aston Villa fans due too the increasing pressure put on the owner by a certain section of the support aswell as the Americans sale of the Cleveland Browns (American Hand Egg Team) just last year, but the speed of the transaction has come completely out of the blue and that is what has come as a shock.

Speaking not long after purchasing the club new owner Mr Lochrie had this too say. 'I am honoured and privileged too be a part of this great Football Club, the last couple of years have been hard on the loyal fans of this club that have been used too seeing their side flourish within English football and I hope under my stewardship that we can see this happen once more'

Asked his views on the clubs manager and whether there would be any change Mr Lochrie stated that he was 'looking forward too sit down with Mr Lambert too see what his vision for the future of the club was and if they had the same views and targets.'

Mr Lochrie also said 'Concerning our current players we are not looking too actively sell however every player has a price, this price just may differ between buyer and seller, on the subject of bringing players into the club I would prefer too talk about that after meeting with Mr Lambert and hearing his views on the matter, Thank you'

United Directors Answer Fans Questions
View attachment 303220
Earlier today Manchester United chairman Maarten Vos, and directors Ruud van Nistelrooy and Edwin van der Sar, spoke exclusively to MUTV in front of a live studio audience. The chairman was quick to defend the club's transfer business so far this summer, boasting that 'The players we have brought in are good enough to win the Premier League!'
The Telecommunications billionaire, who is set to buy HMV this week, confirmed that a search was underway to find the successor to Sir Alex Ferguson, he commented: 'If you watch a game and either Edwin or Ruud are there watching it, you'll want to wrap your manager in chains to the dressing room door because no one would turn us down!'
The owner also confirmed that Ben Amos would be available for £3m, Anderson for £6m and Ashley Young would leave for £15m, when asked about Nani, he commented:
'He is a world class player, if a team wanted to come in and buy him I wouldn't consider a bid under £23m in any circumstances' While when he was quizzed about his recent 'war of words' with other Premier league chairmen he said that he had been mistranslated.
