Richardson Counters Marshall

Joseph Richardson has responded to recent comments by Spurs owner, Billie Marshall who stated, "Letting Pepe Reina and Borini go is crazy." Richardson responded saying "Pepe has had his time here and has served the club well but we felt he has had his time and been replaced with a better player." (I like Reina in real life prefer Krul in-game). He also said that he had only lost Borini to a season long loan and Billie Marshall won't make his smug comments when Campbell scores the winner against him in the future.

Arsenal Chairman 'Out of Touch With Today's Market'

Today James Bradley, Stoke chairman, went on the attack against new 'Loud-mouth' Arsenal chairman, Scott Trowers. Bradley stated "Trower's asking prices for his 'transfer listed' players are completely unrealistic. I wonder if he's just lonely and looking for the attention of the other chairmen."

Clearly looking to push a few buttons Bradley seems to be more confrontational than first perceived.

Trowers Hits Back at Stoke Owner
After recent comments made by Stoke-owner James Bradley, he has pointed out that the reason he recently rejected a Stoke bid for Arshavin, is that other owner's are massively inflating prices for their transfer-listed players, so in order to compete Arsenal-player prices would also have to come up.

He also said that James Bradley had "No ability to negotiate, whatsoever" as he would of been willing to accept (Which he has from 1 other unnamed club) a bid almost half-the-price of what he asked for the Russian captain, but because Bradley was unwilling to negotiate, he had missed out.

Andrei Arshavin has now had an asking price of £2.5m set, but is also happy to consider any loan offers. All offers from Stoke City will be swiftly rejected.

Arsenal are looking to improve their situation on the
wings, with United's Nani being looked at as a target.
The only problem being the £10m difference in opinion
in Nani's value.

Abou Diaby is going to move on loan to Reading within
the next 24 hours, and a possible future fee quoted at
around £8m

Despite this, Arsenal have begun to strengthen in
depth, and many believe that Bassong is a possibility
to move.

Arsenal Chairman Scott Trowers has been quick to deny several rumours about in's and out's at the club.

He pointed out that Diaby is unavailable to loan, although a couple of 'unsatisfactory' offers have been made. The highest of these is though to have been just £4m. He also pressed the point that the club were looking to get rid of Diaby, with a fee between £6m-£8m rumoured to be enough.

He continued by deny the notion of Bassong coming in to the club. "Are we interested in Bassong? No. We have no intention what-so-ever of bringing Bassong anyway near to moving to The Arsenal. I don't know where, or why these rumours have surfaced."

He did however confirm the club were previously in talks with United over Nani, but is no longer-wanting to bring him into the club whilst talks with a high-profile Premier League winger continues. No word on who the winger is, but Trowers was recently spotted flying towards Northern England.

According to new Norwich City chairman Mark Kelly, there will still be some more business at the club in this window, "Yes, I'd like to add some more to the squad." He continued by explaining, "We have so far only worked out a few loan deals, but for some top quality players. Rio is going to be brilliant for us, not only for his ability, but also because of his experience, which is sure to help some of our younger players. Also players such as Macheda will be very useful to help with competition in the team."

When questioned about any further transfers, Mark Kelly had this to say, "We still have 4 or 5 players that we have an interest in. However I can confirm, as of now, none of these players are plying there trade in this league. I'm not going to give out names, but my targets are two free agents, two Brazilians and an Englishman from the Championship."

We will have information on these transfers as they happen.

Lambert Safe

New Aston Villa owner has released a statement on the clubs website that after a long and productive meeting with manager Paul Lambert that Lambert will continue on as manager of Aston Villa. The statement is:

'I would like to let all Aston Villa fans know that I intend too keep Paul Lambert here at Villa Park for the foreseeable future, I believe we both have the same vision for the club and have similar targets.

Owner Scott Lochrie further commented that after talking with the Manager he believes that the squad could do with some new faces joining the club, but this is not vital. He also confirmed that there was money available but the club would not spend '*****-nilly', on transfers out of club Scott Lochrie reaffirmed his stance that the club is not in a position where they have too sell any of their players however every player has his price.

Rumors that a club had asked about the availability of young right back Matthew Lowton had been confirmed but Mr Lochrie did not disclose the club in question or whether or not they are close too the clubs evaluation of Lowton.

Player in medical at Carrington
Manchester United can confirm that a currently unknown player is undergoing a rigourous medical at the club's training ground. This comes after United and another Premier league side agreed a £10m deal for a player described as 'One of the best prospects in Britain at the moment who will become one of the best players in the Premier League' It is currently unknown who the player is but it is rumoured that his identity will be announced after the League recongise the transfer

Everton Owner Tobey James has announced that the club are eyeing up transfers and are in talks with several clubs about potential arrivals. Leighton baines, Marouane Fellaini and Phil Jagielka have been told they will not be leaving and the club has sent out stark reminders about their unavailability.

David Moyes will feel like he is in dreamland having a Chairman who seems to want to dish out the dosh. The Scottish manager has delivered fantastic results for nearly eleven years now and deserves a Chairman who will back him financially.

James also commented on Chelsea's appointment of Pep Guardiola and bucked the trend of some other Chairman stating that Chelsea have the power and means to employ anyone and if Pep Guardiola is the next name above the door then chelsea can be satisfied with one of the best managers now within their domain.

Players still transfer listed are as follows.

Darron Gibson
Jan Mucha
Apostolos Velios
