Fair enough.
I'm just getting a bit irritated seeing people (read: you) stress for updates every other day - and even without expressing their knowing of the huge work there is being done!

But let's rest it here. We are all enjoying this and looking forward to the updates.

Kelly Speaks Over January Business​

The Canaries chairman has broken his brief silence by discussing the happenings of the January transfer window. He is directed slowly into the horde of hungry journalists, seemingly hungover (or still drunk) he slouches over the table with a pair of dark glasses and a suspiciously stained suit. Pushing hair out of his face he looks up at the gathered journalists, before dropping his head onto the table again.

"Have you made any transfers that January?" A youngster enquires, "First of all, that's a dreadful use of the English language, secondly, yes, we have bought three players, and to be honest I've no idea if I can reveal this information, but Crystal Palace have told their transfers and.. well they've always been a wise example to follow, so I brought in Martin Skrtel for Ryan Bennett, brought in Steven Defour on loan, and we've bought Morata and Herrera, of course based upon league confirmation."

"Would you care to go into more detail about the business you've made?" "No." (Silence) "Well umm.. You kind of have to." Kelly sits upright, glasses off, with fire in his eyes, his body managing to discard litres of alcohol within seconds. "Well then if I have to then I will; I'm very appreciative of the Liverpool chairman, he was very reasonable and I'd gladly do business with him again, especially if its a daylight robbery like this one was :p
Honestly I forgot Ryan Bennett existed, so pretty decent business. Defour will be a great compliment to Chadli and Morata will hopefully be able to make the step up from Real Madrid to Norwich City. Also we brought in Herrera, even though I only heard tell of him from Moyes' panic buying on deadline day. But he's probably as good as Charlie Adam and Johnny Howson.. which is saying a lot!"

Kelly then denied reports of him joining Barcelona, "Well I must admit it was tempting, but I think that our strike force is far superior to Barcelonas so I decided to stay for now." And with that he disappeared, leaving journalists staring confusedly at the space he vanished from.

I think there still might be some business to do. You might even see some big names be sold in the window because your manager signs a star, therefore you can afford to cash in on a player you don't need now.
i also will be asking for your players you want to be sold and I will set them as transfer listed in the game, so hopefully they might go.

Also thinking it would be good to do the transfer window in this order for next season and going forward:-
  1. Opening day of transfer window. You set your Manager's budget (and he will spend for the whole transfer window) and you do your chairman to chairman transfer negotiations.
  2. i will sim the game to the last week of the transfer window and then add the chairman transfers in. While you send me your FGN transfer requests.
  3. i again will sim it to within 3 days left. Transfer players for FGN signings.
  4. finally you can again set your manager a budget to get in the final transfers in he wants.
  5. Then we are back to Disclaimer for the monthly updates.
(There will be updates during this for your finances by me and the save game file (if someone could do updates of squads screenshots that would be brilliant. All this I think would work well spread over a 7-10 day period)

I thinks it has been working fine.
I see two problems with the new way you are proposing:

1. If you sim while the window is open, a lot of players will be sold/bought/loaned, which will make us more restricted.
2. I like that our manager has a full month to act on the market, if we didn't get your targets or are just leaving it to him.

So to check, in game would you put the players we want out on the transfer list and allow the computer teams to buy them?
 
Sorry guys, I thought I would have finished it by now, but still got all the C2C transfers to go.

I will be finishing the editing tonight when I get back from the City match, where I hope I will be enjoying a 3-0 victory, haha, but forecasted, 100mph winds is not good!!!

yeah was devastated, just got in now, watched the arsenal/united game in manchester, will look at getting ready for tomorrow's update.

What's the story now I didn't get Jackson Martinez? You PM me? I thought it went to the higher rep club like I thought Gaitan had went to West Brom now or what happens??

Stop moaning, it's calculated for me in excel...

...and we all knew Martinez was always gonna be above your club rep, and that showed in my excel spreadsheet along with Alex(PSG) who was also not willing to join Palace

...i have given you Jovetic as this was C2C agreement, and therefore it would be unfair for me to say this can't go ahead, but if it was from a foreign club it wouldn't have gone through

...Gaitan has been bidded on by 2 different clubs of a similar rep, and they have been notified.

It says I got Charlie Austin but it also say splat got Charlie Austin? And also was papadopolous' rep to high is that why i didn't get him even when no-one else seems to have got him?

Shame it was cancelled, was looking forward to it and can't wait til we play you in a few weeks time at Wembley :) Will you be going?

If Kallstrom is worth 2.1m and i have to pay 2.5 times his value, I am pretty sure it should be a straight ?5.25m??

I was ****** off, was at the ground when they called it off, ended up going to the pub to watch the bore draw(ars/utd) and yeah got my tickets already.

I get the exact value of the player from the editor and that has it at ?2,113,603 = ?5,284,008
