Your doing insane, not losing much but getting vital draws against teams that you know you can't really bit, you've had some very tough games so hopefully you can get a few more wins against primarily, weaker sides that you will face soon.

Are you some sort of FM Genius!! What tactics are you usin, they your own or just off the site?

Thanks lads. And yeah Jack I knew I couldn't beat the likes of Arsenal etc so playing the negative footy I do, I never feel guilty. Hopefully we can carry on the way we are and stay up this season.

and thanks sam mate :) nah I use my own tactics, I don't really use the ones on here often at all. I played with a basic 442 formation for legue 1 and the championship but since getting into the prem I play a narrow diamond with the 2 wingbacks overlapping to provide the width.

Can only reiterate that you have done a fantastic job mate!!!

Thanks for posting which skin you use, but would you mind saying which facepacks and badges you downloaded ? as your set up is really slick.

Also does anyone know that if you have already started a game and then download skins/facepacks will they go straight into your current save ???
thanks

December

We've been doing well and frustrating alot of the teams we've been playing. We lack a creativity in the midfield and it is more and more becoming a problem but thankfully we've defended amazingly so far and we need that to continue if we are to survive.

Another tough game that I really would have liked to won but again we struggled to create much. They came at us with a lot of pressure in the second half but we defended resolutely and came through.

View attachment 28931

We went ahead really early and we began to sit back and invited pressure after that. West Ham are a very good team these days and they can punish you.
Vincenzo Rennella got another crucial goal right after they went ahead to give us a point.

View attachment 28925

Tough away game and we didn't deserve anything to be honest. We've gotten a bit soft away from home which is dissapointing.

View attachment 28927

Relegation candidates like us. I wanted a win desperately and we put in the effort, I can't fault that but we just lack the creativity and we can't seem to score enough goals.

View attachment 28932

We scored under 30 seconds and it maybe came too quick as we struggled to settle for a good 20 minutes. They deservedly equalised but I knew we had to beat the bottom team...especially at home so I went a bit more attacking and Captain
Corry Evans headed home after good work by Rhys Murphy

View attachment 28929

It's never gonna be easy At Anfield especially after they raced into a 2-0 lead. We gave it a very good go after that and Reina had to pull off some saves but we couldn't find the equaliser.

Trounced.

Monthly Overview

Quite a poor month with 3 losses 2 draws and 1 win but we are not into deep trouble just yet. We need to improve next month otherwise we will fall into the trap door and it's always hard when you get dragged down there. I want to hit the 40 point goal and I will be extremely pleased.

Keep going mate - need to improve that goals for tally. Can you get a striker in on loan to freshen your forward line up? Maybe you need a big lump up front who you can pump the ball into the box to if your struggling to create chances from Midfield. Just a thought.. Come on you Bees - my team in real life by the way so great to see them in the EPL ;)

Do you watch every game on 'full match' ?

thnks mate and yeah I know we cant seem to find goals. I've tried to bring in a striker on loan but the club want loan fees that I cant afford unfortunately, plus the wages.

update very soon

what about rudd van nistleroy or david ngog i got rudd for free and ngog on loan from liverpool

IRL someone like Kayode Odejayi would be ideal as a battering ram forward, what's his stats like in your game?

Someone with great strength, jumping, heading - maybe not even quick just a real beast! . Looking at your squad would it be fair to say your forwards are the more skillful or lightweight types?

Good luck with your game, looking forward to the updates :D

ghost78 I play on extended mode mate. "full match" is too long

January

Last month was poor and we cannot afford to go soft defensively because quite simply we are not scoring goals and it will be our downfall unless we are able to grind out a few wins. The closer we get to 40 points the close we get to survival.

We needed this win badly and scoring in the first minute really helped us. Once we scored the 2nd which was worked really well the game was as good as ours despite the fact they pulled one back, they never looked dangerous.

FA Cup 3rd Round

View attachment 29064

Comfortable win that safely puts us through to the next round of the cup. We were very composed and controlld the game from start to finish.

View attachment 29069

Rhys Murphy scored a fantastic brace to put us 2-0 ahead but sadly we did not keep cool heads and began defending nervously, we let them back in and they might have knicked it in the end but a point away is good despire throwing a 2-0 lead away.

View attachment 29073

:D Very tight game and they are a fantastic side but an absolute
WONDER GOAL by Rhys Murphy very late on gave us a crucial 3 points. Rhys Murphy showed Palacious a clean set of heels befor dribbling through the tired Tottenham defence and releasing a super strike into the top corner of the goal from a ridiculous angle. I'm over the moon with this result and we now have a contender for goal of the season.

FA Cup 4th Round

We always do well against Charlton and today was no different.
Rhys Murphy smashed home from close range to give us the only goal of the game. They were very poor and struggled to create anything. The game was overshadowed after a horrific injury to our stiker Michael Taylor.

Injury Problems for the Bees

Former Dundee striker Michael Taylor has fractured his skull after a collision with Cardiffs Kevin McNaughton. It is said the Scottish international will be out for 4-5 months.

"It's horrible to see in any circumstances but it did look very bad and all we can do is hope for the best and that Michael is able to recover and come back stronger than ever for us."

1.5M signing
Steve Sidwell is also said to be out for 3 months after tearing his calf muscle.

Involved in a thriller for once, and thankfully we are on the right side of it to keep up our great form this month. We went 2 goals down and were very poor but after the break we responded magnificently and scored 2 goals in the last 15 minutes to give us the win.
Kelvin Etuhu has had a lot of injury problems but he came on and grabbed us a goal at the death. Fair play to the lad. The lads showed tremendous spirit and effort to come back and win it for us.

Monthly Overview

After last month being so poor we reacted fantasically this month. 3 wins and 1 draw in the league is fantastic, especially seeing as we were very close to winning all 4. We've also progressed into the 5th round of the FA Cup which is a nice little bonus.

We have proved to everyone that we are indeed capable of staying up and it is certainly possible now after this month.

forgot to record the table and as I have gone past this month now I will post it in the next update which will be later on today

unfortunately his stats are not good enough but I definately agree with you. we need a more physical presence and that is why I am very interested in tomas necid.

Great stuff and some goals!!!

Nasty injuries though :(

---------- Post added at 03:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:05 PM ----------

Great results mate. Your winning against some bigger teams which is really good =)

thanks frei mate :)

yeah we managed to find the net a bit in that month so im pleased :)

Neeson Trails Czech Starlet

There is ongoing speculation that Bee's boss Dean Neeson is interested in CSKA Moscow forward Tomas Necid. Necid has been in fantastic form this season and is a daunting prospect for defences due to his physique and height.

Neeson has had scouts watch the 23 year on 4 different occasions who has scored 62 league goals in 110 appearances for CSKA Moscow since arriving there 4 years ago is highly touted and has been tracked by many european clubs.

View attachment 29120
Necid has scored 18 goals in 34 caps for the Czech Republic.

"I'm very interested and we've contracted CSKA and they've been rather open to negotiations to be honest. We're working on a negotiation on the price and we'll see where it goes from
there."

He'd be a class signing mate :) Keep up the good work, really good result vs Spurs
