I love it when English club fans are united against the horrible double standards on show. Platini and Blatter are a ******* disgrace.

makes me laugh he supports Barcelona not arsenal he owes arsenal nothing for me he has stayed at arsenal too long and your lucky to have him. just face it if he wants to go and barca want him whats wrong with that, the only thing that is holding him back is the club which says alot for arsenal. if a player wants to leave man utd no matter how good he is i.e ronaldo then fergie lets him leave but arsenal wont sell.

You really are a massive *** aren't you? On your first point, he dedicated the WORLD CUP to Arsenal, and has spent 7 years at Arsenal, he is the Arsenal Captain, our best player by a long shot, he grew up at Barcelona, and therefore rightly supports them, but he clearly supports his OWN club too, and always will do i suspect. He owes Wenger a **** of a lot, what would he have done at Barca, grown up alongside Xavi and Iniesta and been a different player, probably more defensive, and nowhere near as good, as he wouldn't, and still won't get first team football every week, he owes everything to us. Says a lot about Arsenal? We don't want to sell our best players, including surprisingly enough, our Captain Cesc Fabregas, funny that.. I wonder if Chelsea would sell Frank Lampard, or John Terry for that matter. I think they'd be reluctant don't you? Good choice of example with the Ronaldo move, oh hang on, that's utter bullshit, they were offered £80 million, who wouldn't sell for that, under financial pressure too. I would expect that if Barca coughed up that money for Fabregas, we'd sell, although we wouldn't have to, because we are under no financial pressure at all, thanks to Ivan Gazidis and co. :)
Rant over, now stop being a ****.

im not being a ''****'' at all, the difference is lampard and terry dosent want to leave chelsea cesc wants to leave arsenal. all im saying is it shows the big gap of class between man utd and arsenal that if a player wants to leave man utd fergie knows 1 player dosent make a team. i just find that majority arsenal fans are taking this so poorly, its bad that arsenal wont let a player join his boyhood club. he has served his time at arsenal his time he has given you is what he owed you. he deserves to be winning trophies he is a world class footballer. i say what i think if you dont like it so what.

No, he owes Arsenal a five year contract. He signed the contract of his own free will.

you know as well as i do contracts mean **** all in football.
fabregas is going if not this season then next season, hes made no secret of wanting to play for barcelona, best thing to do is secure a massive fee for next season, gives them one more season from him and huge funds to replace him

That's not the point, at all. SAF sold because he was offered a ridiculous amount of money, A.C.Milan accepted because they were offered a ridiculous amount of money. It's not about one player making a team, it's about Barcelona tapping him up and behaving in a very poor and unprofessional way, hang on that sounds familiar.. Thaat's right, Chelsea did it to Ashley Cole, i wondered why you were so pro Barcelona. We were offered what Arsenal Football Club, and Arsene Wenger considered to be an unsatisfactory offer, of around £30 million, we were never going to accept that, because he's worth a lot more in the modern day, he shouldn't be, but he is. Since that offer was made, Barcelona have made no further offers, but instead their president(s) have talked to the papers about their desire to buy Fabregas from Arsenal, and told their players to speak to him, and the papers about how much he and they want him to go there. It's not a big gap in class, it's a big gap in financial security, Arsenal don't have to sell anyone if they don't want to, we sold Adebayor last year as well Toure, both wanted to leave, both did, Toure was our Vice Captain, and one of the best CBs in the league, same with Adebayor who was our most prolific striker at the time. We got some money from these transfers and haven't been spending much at all recently, £20m in 2 years is nothing these days. The Adebayor point also sort of destroys your point about it showing what Arsenal are about. There has also been no transfer request from Fabregas, nor did he say he wanted to leave, merely that if he did, it would be to go to Barcelona. I don't think if Lampard said "i want a new challenge" or "I want to go back to West Ham" - that Chelsea would just let him go like that.

If it were any other team (and I was a supporter) I would be worried about Cesc leaving. Seeing as it's Arsenal and they have, quite possibly, the best manager in the world when it comes to developing youth talents, I would be happy if they pushed for the £50 million stated and then I'd sit back and wait to see who Wenger pulls out of his magic hat this time around. This is a man who has sold more star players during his time at Arsenal than some teams can even claim to have had playing for them in their entire histories.

we sold ronaldo because it was clear he desperately wanted to go, and at 80 million its no contest. fab wants to go, so negotiate a high price, and get it over and done with so he goes next season

they haven't tapped him up, they havent met with him behind arsenals back now have they like chelsea did with cole???? if lampard wanted to play his last years at west ham(which wouldnt happen as he hates them and they hate him) im pretty sure chelsea would respect his wishes. lampard dosent rule our team yes he makes it better but thats all.

By declaring their interest in a player that Arsenal have said is not for sale they have begun the tapping up process by default, haven't they? Barcelona have made direct comments -- it's not media speculation and all this after promising they would not make any moves for the player this summer. Yes, they PROMISED Arsenal via the world's media they would not unsettle him this summer.

Barcelona refuse to offer again after their pathetic 29m bid. I'd welcome a bid of 45-50m.

And CJACKO, it's your poor attitude towards Contracts that is one of the major problems in Football today.

i never said it wasent a problem because its a huge problem but im just saying it how it is.

The answer is simple pay what arsenal want for cesc or stop shouting your mouth off like charley big bollocks and do one!
cjacko your a joke pal arsene and arsenal helped make cesc what he is today a world class midfielder he owes them the 5 year contract he signed , the problem is we have other clubs starting to have the poor morals and respect for other clubsthe same as the scum of chelski, man city, real madrid and now barca have where they think they can do what the want when they want and that money can buy anyone they are the cancer of football and sooner or later when the owners get bored with there new toy it will all go wrong and i can`t wait!!

to be fair barcelona had a huge say in the player he is, who else made the hugely talented youngster that arrived at arsenal? they helped make him, and they want him back. disappointing, but he wants to go there too.

your missing the point fabregas supports barcelona whether he has just signed a 5 year deal or not this is a one in a lifetime oportunity to play for his boyhood club. at the end of the day money talks its not chelseas, man city, madrid or barcas fault we have money and you know most players strive to earn as much as they can. it just shows what type of club arsenal have become trying to keep a player when he wants out. i remember last year when utd fans knew ronaldo wanted to go to madrid their wasent all this yer well he owes us bullshit, its because utd are in a totaly different league to arsenal now days.

i don`t think they did that much really when he came to us he was virtually unknown and at the age he was all be it very young he hadn`t set the world on fire or done anything in his own league really, arsenal gave him the stage and chance to make himself what he is, when he won the world cup he dedicated it to asrenal and arsene for making him the player he is so really i think he nose that and thats why he is showing the respect he is by not demanding a move but requesting one in the right way which barca should have done and should still be doing.

your formative years is when you learn the key basics and technical prowess that you need. barcelona had as big an impact on fabrega as arsenal did, just in different ways, to say arseal did all the work is untrue. arsenal would not have been able to mould that young starlet into a star without the foundations that barca set.
