Can't seem to get the game save working on my laptop for some reason, think I'll just pull out this season and try to join again next season :)

Make sure you save the file within your saved games folder (Sports Interactive / Football Manager 2019 / Games) This is where all your saved games should be stored. You should then be able to load it as long as it appears as a .fm file.

Already done that mate hahaha, just doesn't allow me to load it once I click on it from the saved games.

When does the transfer window close? I haven't been able to get on the game over the weekend and I'm hoping I haven't missed it as it is the first window in 2 seasons that I have some money.

Tomorrow at 6pm mate

Same thing happened to me. Once I downloaded the update to the game it worked straight away. Might be worth a go

I'll give that a go then thanks :) regardless I've not been active enough over the weekend because of the issue so it wouldn't be fair to keep me in for now, I'll be back for next season!

If it works and you'd like to join this season thats OK. you still have the window open until 6pm tomorrow so plenty of time to send me your transfer business!

Not sure what everyone thinks, but I would be interested in seeing the season preview before our transfers and then after our transfers to see if there's any change in the odds and league position and also to get a feel for what the quality of everyone's transfer business.

Just letting you all know I'm running late tonight so probably won't get an update on. Will do my best for tomorrow late afternoon/early evening

So sorry, have been busy due to some social commitments! Will try to get my update in today!

WEST BROM ALBION UPDATE!

TAKING A STEP BACK - A LEAP AHEAD OR SPIRALING DOWN?

LEAGUE

A season of nearly there as once again our lack of goalscorers hurt us as young Friedl was our best striker and the one with the best returns! We missed out to Europe by a single point which corrects our lucky foray into Europe this year but the players and the club are hungry to get back into European Places again and that will be our main aim again!

Our finances have received a huge boost due to the sale of Tonali and we are miles ahead in terms of finances of the other clubs and that emboldened us to spend a huge salary as we bolster our Attack by signing Edinson Cavani and ex-Premier League hero Cristiano Ronaldo! I am hoping that we will score after signing these elite strikers and should help us finally catch up with Stoke and leapfrog into Europe this year!

We also snared Gerard Pique and now pose an envious armoury of Central Defenders with Pique, Godin, Holding, Mancini and Markovic all capable of playing at the highest level! That said, I leave the rest of the summer transfer window to our Manager as I go off on my holiday which I haven't taken since taking over the club!

CUP

We haven't launched a meaningful cup run and the manager has been informed that I need trophies along with a fight for European Places!

EUROPA LEAGUE

We were brilliant in the group stage but somehow ended up losing to Olympiacos which was again due to lacking the ability to score goals and hopefully that will be corrected this year!

PLAYERS

Godin, Mancini and Origi were the only players to impress with Friedl and Castagana in their first season in the league had played well considering their lack of experience.

Some great business done.

Think Norwich’s business could help them push for a place at the top.

Preston got some absolute bargains on the free transfers.

Yep, couldn't get my youngster on loan from inter again so needed more options up top! Without those goals we'd be nowhere near top half! Bit worried!

SEASON PREVIEWS

ENGLISH PREMIER DIVISION

8 games into the season and it's a fantastic start for Leeds and Blackburn who are both in the top 5, with Stoke and West Brom just a little way behind them. Aston Villa are finding life tough at these early stages and sit rock bottom of the table.

View attachment 17729

SKY BET CHAMPIONSHIP

Swansea lead the way! Nottingham Forest have replicated last season's good start and are 2nd after 11 games. Preston and Norwich are the only other chairman clubs in the top 10 in what has been a disappointing start for most of us! Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland all occupy relegation spots early on!

SKY BET LEAGUE ONE

Wigan already find themselves 11 points off the pace in League One...a disappointing start for them!

View attachment 17727

CARABAO CUP

At the 4th round stage and 6 chairman sides remain! Leeds have the most winnable fixture, while West Brom and Aston Villa have really tough ties against Man City and Chelsea.

Yep, that’s going to be a big loss. He has been a goal machine the last two seasons.

Terrible start from Millwall. Hopefully the lads can kick start their season very soon.
