No-one is discarding them, just discussing them as a club.

no need to swear....

He just isnt good enough to be back up this year, we saying your squad isnt good enough, not questioning his talent.

And how does a young lad learn and become a first team player???

I don't see why CJacko is in the wrong here, one international cap makes you a great player, look at the mighty Seth Johnson.

David Nugent, Michael Ricketts comes to mind, just a flash in the pan at the moment,

Kieron Richardson.

England Caps: 1
England Goals: 2

Weird that eh?

you are completely off the mark, no-one is saying he isnt good or wont become good, just he is not good enough to be back up, maybe at 17 a loan out, tbh he is no better then Matty James at the moment,

The lad is ******* 17 playing for a team who are currently PL and FA cup holders even being on the bench is massive. Some managers don't throw youngsters straight in the first team and take their time with them and how do you know this isen't what Carlo is doing??

Yes but in other teams like Man U & Arsenal, the mangers rotate their youngsters with senior squad and in works. Macheda, GIbson etc are turning out to be great players with that approach.
If you look at United & Arsenal they have a flourishing youth system, Chelsea don't!

ronaldo, fabregas and rooney might be able to tell him

Beckham paved the way for Ronaldo to start stright away, Arsenal was looking for a player like Fabregas and Rooney came through at a pretty poor Everton side. Some youngsters are better when you take your time with them and some arnt.

Because Utd and Arsenals youth acadamy has been great for the best part of 10years where as ours has only started to come to life last year.

and your injuries atm haven't paved a way into the chelsea side for any of your youngsters

Who won the Youth Cup last year? Get your facts right.

But McEachran is 17 and not 18 til march. Like i said he isen't going to start many games with the midfield we have at the moment.

No one should diss Josh McEachran he is a talent, too say the least, but hes not that outstanding, just the lack of back up chelsea have only gives him the chance too be on the bench,
he needs to go out on loan just as jack wilshere did, hes not learning anything on the bench, because when he comes on, hes not affective, and so too bruma, and van aanholt or whatever

no one is saying their bad players, theyre nothing special at the end of the day

chelsea's main downfall is letting carvalho go, who made john terry LOOK GOOD, now hes shows up, even alex is better than him :)

I feel we're straying off the topic of what is behind their slump. It's fair t say that their youngsters are not yet upto scratch, but then the big players are also off colour, the likes of malouda et al

Thats my point you can't go round saying your youth players are excellent when there not. That what CJACKO11 is tryna say.

@CJACK11 you say that McEachran is 17. but here some example of some players around that age who were established 1st team player, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney & Cesc Fabregas.

fabregas at 17 started for arsenal......

So in march will he be good enough to start...
