Free transfers have been published? I got victor valdes

I think it is because you were the only one bidding for him.
As I read it the free-tranfers that there were bidding-competition for, will be published tonight.

Sorry, my bad...I had victor Valdes in a couple of chairman's spreadsheets, Man City was one of the bidders...

I guess I didn't remove Valdes from Citeh's spreadsheet like I did with the other chairmen's bids.

Valdes isn't confirmed nor are the other free transfers. It was late last night, around 3am when I finish the update, I guess I missed a few things.

Free transfers will be up this evening.

I forgot this last "silly-season award":
Biggest Surprise :

Man United / Tobey Mason

Despite finishing far away from the promised land positions, and not even high enough to qualify to European tournaments, United chairman Tobey Mason didn't make a single transfer! Tobey Mason must have giving the returning angel, Sir. Alex free-hands with the enormous budgets at Old Trafford. It's going to be exciting if this is transfer-mistake of the year or a genius masterstroke.

Liverpool Hire Diego Simeone!

breaking-news-logo.jpg

Diego Simeone has been appointed manager of Liverpool Football Club. Simeone has a very impress CV with his biggest achievement being his most recent in winning the La Liga league championship in Spain. Simeone also has a decent track record in Europe winning the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup in 2012.

Terry Dunne made the following statement; We are delighted to announce Diego Simeone as a new manager. We have been very impressed with his achievements to date and think he is the right person to get this club back on track for success. I will be giving Simeone the funding he needs so that he can build the squad he wants. More on this story to follow..

Overall Best Window:

Fulham / Leighdelamere

Runner-up: Everton / Bornexplorer88

I wonder whether Neville Southall is stuck in a time warp. Lescott and Kevin Davies, to add to Puyol. Wake up Big Nev, its 2014!

Cardiff Transfer Update

View attachment 397308

It?s all change at Cardiff, with last years top goalscorer Jordan Rhodes returning to Blackburn plus them selling there best players in Caulker and Byram. They have spent wisely over the summer bringing in 12 players.

SkySports reporter: It must be tough selling your best players?

Njmclare: yes, however with us having a small debt at the start of the transfer window we needed to be bold in the transfer window, selling some of our better players, for good money, to facilitate new players coming in.

SkySports reporter: You must have taken a bit of risk spending a large proportion of your budget on Aaron Lennon, who has been struggling for form in recent years.

Njmclare: I don?t see it as a risk at all. As part of the negotiations, we put some beneficial requirements into Lennon?s contract. He must spend 5 hrs per week watching michael owen?s, ryan Giggs and Iain St.John soccer skills DVD?s. We have also acquired the services of Eileen Drewery who will be working closely with Lennon, reminding him he is a good player and that he can cross the ball, if only he believes in himself a little bit more.

SkySports Reporter: Anyone else you think will shine this year?

Njmclare: Where to start. We have addressed and improved all areas of the first team squad. I think Zouma will continue his footballing development while on loan here, filling in nicely for Caulker. As part of the Caulker deal we signed Jenkinson, who will replace the outgoing Byram, as well as Will Hughes, Monreal, Romero and Gnabry on loan, who will all be pushing for first team starts. Michy Batshuayi and Yannick N?Djeng will be challenging Defoe for first team starts. Finally we replaced outgoing David Marshall with young Matej Delac from Chelsea.

Sky Sports Reporter: You managed to sell a few players this transfer window, do you think the change of rules from the FA regarding wages helped.

Njmclare: it undoubtedly helped. I?m not sure there were many clubs who would have paid 80,000 per week to sign Kenwyn Jones under the old rules, unfortunately for us, no one wanted to pay 40k per week, so we are stuck with that donkey for another season. We did however manager to move on a number of players, meaning that our wages remain very similar to last years figure, even with 12 signings. This has enabled us to stay in a healthy financial position with the flexibility of signing players in January, providing my manager doesn?t spend the bank balance while I?m not looking.

NORWICH PINCH 3 FREE SIGNINGS
View attachment 397288
Norwich City FC have today surprised fans of the premier league with 3 key signings, but all for nothing. The three new men have a combined 134 caps for England and accumulated over 72 million pounds worth of transfer fees. So, who are these players?
View attachment 397287View attachment 397286View attachment 397285

First up is former England international Rio Ferdinand, who joins Norwich after the club beat Cardiff City by only a pound in their wage offer. Second is former Sunderland midfielder Craig Gardner who has been a consistent performer for the club before leaving for the Canaries on a free transfer. Finally is another England international, Gareth Barry, who spent last season on loan at Everton where he performed well as well as being a key member of Manchester City's title-winning team in 2012. Manager Marco van Basten said he was delighted by his chairman's work to bring in the free signings while he also confirmed that he has been entrusted a 3 million transfer budget to improve on the disappointment of the second half of last season.

Well played by Norwich..
And what an extra wage-bill for Fulham - but **** they look competeable this season!!

A lot of new players though.... Happy to have Akinfeev, Ince, Fernandes, Iturbe and the loan signings of Giaccherini and N'Zonzi. Just looking to consolidate this season and push on in season three.

Hopefully my manager will sell Parker and Rodallega to free up some more wages, getting shot of Berbatov for the same wages as Akinfeev though is the deal of the century :)

A dismal Transfer window for the new chairman of West Ham

View attachment 397229

View attachment 397230

West Ham United's new chairman,
Pratik Sangle could not make a single signing before the transfer window slam shut, but because the previous chairman bought a few players, the new one didn't find the need to do so, however the fans of the club are very disappointed with the lack of signings, but Pratik has promised that he will spend in the next transfer window

Interested by the Fulham and Cardiff transfers - Fulham have got a great team and did well last season but if Magath doesn't sell some players the squad could fall apart while with Cardiff they've brought in a lot of young players, meaning they could do well or could do awful

Am hoping that Magath does sell some of the **** like Rodallega, Parker, Ruiz and Stekelenburg.

We'll start the season slowly but should finish strongly. Top 10 is the aim.

Agree that Cardiff look strong as well, they'll be in and around mid-table, maybe pick up a cup win too.
