I haven't took notice of the other games. It'd be too much to handle being in more than one. Shame on them!

The other chairman games are in a very different league, than "ours".
It's the kindergardens of chairman games - and this is for the pro-ballers! :)

I agree with this, I joined it them left after an hour. The other chairman game has no rules at all just take out a 100m loan and buy players at market value, would have been so easy

YET ANOTHER TAKEOVER, AS WEST HAM FANS REVOLT AGAINST THE SALE OF THEIR CLUB!
Journalist: Well, Raul you walk into the club in a time of mini-crisis, what are your thoughts on this?
Raul: In all honestly, I'm quite worried. We haven't got off to the greatest start of the century only picking up 1 point in 3 games. We need to make sure we keep the club up, and I'm quite keen to improve the squad.
Journalist: Raul what are your thoughts on the off-field issues, and your transfer policy?
Raul: I've already answered your first question, we've got make sure these off-field issues don't affect players and performances, and now attempt to avoid relegation, which I'm sure we will do. On the later, I'm not a fan of making emergency signings, and believe that the manager should have control on the squad as well as the transfers. I think I've made it quite clear that I don't want to interfere with the managers business, however if necessary I will step in.
Journalist: And your thoughts on the English Premier League?
It's just another league, all this talk about being very competitive, the most in the word? That is not true. I can guarantee you that it is just as hard to win a game in La Liga and the Bundesliga. I feel as though these questions are being very repetitive, and there is no point in continuing this conversation. Thanks for your time.

Elmo's Transfer Update

Hello everybody and welcome to my round up of the new faces captured by The Fulham Collective over the summer period. We certainly have been busy. Chief scouts Bert and Ernie have scoured the world for the best players available and we think that all the boys and girls, who come along every week to Craven Street, will be very happy:-

Goal-tenders: Igor Akinfeev (Soviet) - favourite colour is green; Christian Bonilla (Young) - in his spare time likes playing Pac-Man

Defense: Sam Byram (Right) - once met Noel Gallagher in an Asda car-park; Craig Dawson (Not Michael) - has 3 cats and a dog; Stefano Denswil (Foreign) - one for the future, will be working in the club shop this season on the tills; Gustavo Henrique (Tight End) - tough tackling no nonsense Brazilian; Daniele Rugani (????) Felix The Cat felt that five CB's were not enough and decided to loan another one

Mid-Area: Steven N'Zonzi (Frog) - likes the letter Z; Emanuele Giaccherini (Mafia) - has "connections", if fit then guaranteed to start; Juan Iturbe (Star) - will be Young Player of the Year; Lucas Evangelista (Center) - Linda's brother; Tom Ince (Son of Paul) - enjoys the works of Dostoyevsky (on audiobook); Manuel Fernandes (old) - where the heck are the Cape Verde Islands anyway.

Offence: Matej Vydra (Cheque) - once played for Watford

Season so far
August
Simon Garner

After only 10 days in the job it was fantastic to be able to sit in the managers office with the Gaffer, Gianfranco Zola, and have a chat with him about how he thinks the season has gone so far.

Simon -
So Gianfranco, it came as a huge surprise to everyone that you left Watford to come here. After all both clubs had just gained promotion back into the Premiership, Blackburn finishing in second place just behind Notts Forest and your Watford team beating Bournemouth 1-0 in the play-off final at Wembley.
So what made you decide to come to Ewood Park instead of staying at Vicarage Road?

Gianfranco -
Please Simon, call me gaffer, everyone else here does. As to your question it just felt the right time and the right club for me. The chairman here, Davie Bond, is very ambitious about the club and he really sold it to me. I already knew about the great history of the club and I want to add my own little bit of history to the club as well.

Simon -
OK Gaffer it is then.

So your first game in charge of the Blue and Whites was a home game against West Brom.

Gaffer -
Yeah unfortunately I only arrived at the club on the Friday night and the game was the next day so I never got any time with the lads and just had to go with gut instincts about the squad. The team were great and fought out a hard battle against West Brom that ended up 0-0, which was probably a fair reflection on the game with chances few and far between for both sides.

Simon -
Then on the Tuesday night it was a trip down to the American Express Community Stadium for the 2nd round of the Capital One Cup against Brighton.

Gaffer -
That was a very disappointing night for all of us. I was hoping for a cup run for the club but it was not to be in the Capital One Cup for this year after leaving David Lopez totally unmarked in the box letting him score the only goal of the game.

Simon -
But it was the cup and after all the league is where the priorities lie this year. Isn't it?

Gaffer -
You're correct Simon but we need to get into a winning way soon and that was a game that we could and should have won to give ourselves the beginnings of a run of victories.

Simon -
In your pre-match interview you upset a few people with your reply to a question asked by a fellow journalist. Do you still stand by what you said or do you want to change your answer?

Gaffer -
He asked who I thought were favourites to be relegated this year and I said Hull and I still stand by that comment.

Simon -
It was back to league business on the Saturday with a trip to Norwich to play the Canaries.

Gaffer -
Yeah another poor performance from us here which I take full blame for. I changed the formation a little and it back-fired on us. It was a close game but Norwich took their chances and we didn't. These things can happen in football sometimes. As I said after the match it was a poor performance and a poor result from us and there is a lot of work to be done.

Simon -
Thanks Gaffer for taking time out of your busy schedule to take the time to chat to us and let our readers know about Blackburn Rovers from the boss man himself. All the best for the rest of the season.

Gaffer -
No problem Simon, very pleased to meet you and I hope that it will be a better report for next months fixtures.

Are we going to get an update tonight or will it have to wait?

Cardiff City Update - great start to the season
View attachment 396585
Sky sports Reporter: A fantastic start to the season at Cardiff. Winning two games out of three...

Njmclare: It has been a bit of a surprise but no less than Stefano Colantuono deserves. It took us until mid-November to get six points last term, so it is fantastic to have the same tally by the end of August this season. September is a little bit trickier with games against Liverpool, Newcastle and Man City but our young players are up for the challenge.

SkySports reporter: It has been said you don't win anything with kids, are you hoping your young squad will perform well this year or do you agree with Alan Hansen's famous phrase?

Njmclare: I agree that Morrisons have 'great value' Scottish farmed salmon, but as for his comment regarding kids, I disagree...(Njmclare's PA whispers in his ear to remind him that Cardiff were knocked of the carling cup losing 3-0 away to wolves)... ermmm, on second thoughts he might have been onto something.

Reporter:
"Just after Morten Olsen left, there were lot of rumours that you were initiating negotiations with Sevilla manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Do you have any comments for those rumours?"

Sheringham: "Ole is a great guy and as you know I hold him very dear as my former teammate. Ole would fit perfectly here, but it was important for us to get a man with experience from the highest level and with experience of winning trophies. It is no secret that I have the ambition to be working together with Ole again one day.
But we never had no doubt that Mancini was our first choice and we are delighted, that he felt the same way about us".

Busy Swing-Door at White Hart Lane.

The only big signing revealed by chairman Teddy Sheringham was Douglas Costa - bought for 15 million.

Tottenham also signed three experienced names on free transfer - Carles Puyol , Seydou Keita & former world star View attachment 396494Ronaldinho. The three players is not expected to get man y matches, but are going to play and important role as bringing in experience to the young squad.

Spurs also brought in seven young talents, with Oliver, Saul & Jonatan Silva as the most mentionable names, and also managed to sell Adebayor, Aaron Lennon & Gylfi Sigurdsson for a combined fee of 20+ million.

Sheringham: "I am sorry to see Gylfi Sigurdsson leave, but we needed the money, and I am sure is going to be a success in Swansea. I am also happy that we could do business with our good friend Dennis Bergkamp".

Ambitions For The Season.

Sheringham: "We already passed our first goal of qualifying to the Champions League, and now will see how good we can do in our tough group. Our main ambition for the season is to retain our spot as a top-4 club, and that is what we are hoping to do."

Reporter: "A lot of complaints has been circulating from the fans that not a single English player joined Spurs the summer - how do you feel about the squad having so few Englishmen?"

Sheringham: "We are never going to be a team with a majority of domestic players. If you want to compete, you have to get best players no matter nationality. But with that being said, it is clear that we in the coming windows will be scouting for English talent".

Average Start For Swansea

swansea-v-saints.jpg

It has been a difficult start of the season for Swansea, they have played three games, loosing two of them against two very difficult sides in Tottenham and Chelsea and gaining a win against WBA. As well as this Frank Rijkaard has left the side to go and manage in the bundesliga. Bergkamp had this to say in his conference:

" We had three difficult games, of which I would have liked to have gained 6 points from, I would not expect to beat Tottenham because they are a very good side but to concede three against Chelsea is disappointing. We will however work forward from this point, we qualified for the Europa League group stage, and it is still very early in the season we all know what our plans are for the season. We a disappointed to lose Frank especially to a team that are going backwards in terms of football, but we have drawn up a list of possible replacements and I aim to have news on this in the near future. Thank You for your time."

Odds for next Swansea Manager:

Gary Bowyer - Evens

Clarence Seedorf - 3/1

Gary Monk - 3/1

Paulo Bento - 12/1

Ottmar Hitzfeld - 20/1

Pep Guardiola - 500/1

A bit off topic this one lads. I'll remove it if Disclaimer wants me to.

I've started a be a pro just for a bit of fun on the side. It won't effect anything in this story as it'll only be simming and posting screenshots. It's based in northern ireland and the aim is to increase their football reputation as a country.

I want dedicated players who'll keep up with the story and post often. If you're interested could you drop me a PM and we'll take things from there.

Once again, it won't effect this story as it's just a thing on the side. And I'm only posting here as I know you're all loyal players who'll keep up with it. Unlike all of the other threads you see!!

Cheers lads.
