Arnie found sobbing behind the Emirates Stadium

News just in is that Arsenal's controversial owner was inconsolable this morning.

He was led on the floor crying like a baby because of a missed transfer target. Members of the board looked on in horror and confusion as they could not work out what was going on with the ex "Terminator"

We go live to a Midget in a bikini to give us more.

"Thanks Tom. We have been speaking to various witnesses to the event and have worked out what has been going on!"

"It turns out that the former senator from California had made a new goalkeeper his top priority this summer and his No. 1 choice was Russian stopper Igor Akinfeev
"

"Arnie was believed to be favourite to sign him after that incident in the hotel room together, b
ut it looks like the Russian has joined Fulham instead"

Is there any news as to why he joined Fulham over Arsenal?

"Well in a bizarre twist it looks like Arsenal 'forgot' to put the paperwork through on time which cost them their man."

"It also looks like Mr Schwarzenegger is blaming the board for this blunder! He is still said to be angry about them Re-hiring Arsene Wenger behind his back while he was filming the new Terminator film"

Well let's move on from his mini melt-down...how are his new signings looking?

" I managed to get a quick word with Arsene Wenger earlier about his new signings and they both look like they are settling well!"

"Steven Caulker has come in as a prospect for the next couple of years and has been enthusiastic about his future at the club. He has been working closely with the other lads and should progress into a very good player!"

"Reus has fit in perfectly since his arrival, they have Mertesacker and Ozil who are part of the National side and already have a good relationship with Reus so it is has helped him feel at home."

"Any news on expectations for the season?"

"Yes there has been a lot of talk about this and it looks like Arnie wants some silverware! There has been a dry patch for a long time now and he wants this to end. Rumours are that if they don't deliver this year he will axe Arsene for the second time in his short reign!"

"Thanks for your time Midget!"

Hull City Transfer Roundup!!

Jeff: We caught up with disclaimer89 today and was able to get him to answer a few quick questions!

Jeff: So Matt, not many signings this Summer, just like last! You feel you are strong enough to beat the drop?

Matt - Of course, I am always confident in the ability of the players and staff to do their jobs and get the results needed!
We did make a few signings though just to tighten up!

Jeff: You did indeed, with one big name, even though he is way past his best!! Why dont you introduce us to them?

Matt - Of course Jeff, first up is:

View attachment 397102

Fabio
He is another great young talent, although he has had a few injuries in the past, we believe he is ready to push on and put any miseries behind him!

View attachment 397103

Jack Butland who we managed to get back permanently, after a successful loan spell with us last season!
We are confident here are Hull that he has the ability to be the future England number 1!

View attachment 397104
Didier Drogba!
He is a legend in football! You would be silly Jeff to think he hasn't got what it takes to bag us a lot of goals this year!

Jeff: Exciting stuff, not as exciting as maybe signing Macro Reus but hey cant complain! So anything else on your mind?

Matt: ....

Matt: You are one sarcastic tw*t....

Matt: One question to you Jeff, how much money have YOU got in the bank?... Exactly, now away on you go back to your run down, 1 bedroom flat and cry yourself to sleep!

Matt: I'm off to hue hefner's party....See you on the flip side Laterzz!!

I lost van Basten to get Malky Mackay :(
Played all 3 newly promoted sides, lost 2 and won 1. Jonathan Walters though - didn't start last season but has already got 4 goals

Nice sales by the top-clubs (except Lukaku off course).
But United must be very disappointed by not being strengthen by Sir. Alex...

Sold Leroy Fer for 13m but can't see that we've got a replacement yet, debating whether to keep Malkay or not?

?13 Million is a great price, will allow for further strengthening in January!!

On another note, save is up now.

Had a look on the save and saw that Marco van Basten left to get 72 grand a week at Athletico Madrid, even I was only paying him 12! Chuckled when I saw that Torres hasn't scored for Aston Villa in the championship yet.
Intrigued by Everton so far, I'm still very surprised from their decision to get rid of Martinez and allow Moyes back in

Lukaku ?! srsly ?! I was building on him to replace negredo next season ... god damnit mourinho.. and he bought eduardo vargas to replace him .. so ****** right now.
On the other hand , 2 games 2 wins , players are playing well (bertrand somehow also) so can't complain to much

Lallana sold for 8m? Gaston Ramirez sold for 3.6m? Wtf! Signs ******* Darren fletcher aswell. 3 wins out of 3 on the positive side though

I told you that the AI was going to sell him, didn't I?
Though I was offering you around 14m when they paid much more!

I should've just sent him on loan to Everton like they wanted .. lucky Chelsea won tonight so nothing can make me angry, HF in barca lukaku

Well what an amazing start to the season. First game of the season and we're at Stamford Bridge to play the champions. Jordan Rhodes scores and gives us the lead after only 1 minute. We get pegged back only for him to get his second and we're in front again. Unfortunately Chelsea showed why they are champions as they score twice to take the lead and they hold on to win 3-2. If we can play like this we've got a great chance to survive.

Back down to ground with a bump, as the very next day Gary Bowyer comes to see me to tell me that he's leaving to become the new manager of Swansea. I decide to let him go as I don't want a manager who doesn't want to be here, and wish him the very best of luck there but not when we play each other. So after only 1 game in the Premiership I'm on the hunt for a new man to take the helm of the Rovers.

Only 5 days later and I've got my man. I'm excited that we've managed to get a manager of his calibre and I'm absolutely convinced that he can lead us to glory.

Please welcome the new manager of Blackburn Rovers...

Gianfranco Zola

Ciao

I'm delighted to be here at Blackburn Rovers and I am looking forward to getting this club back challenging for silverware. With the squad that I have inherited, I have no doubt that we will finish mid table this year and be able to push on next year. It will be hard but if everyone plays to their full potential it can be done.

Gavin Robson - BBC Radio Lancashire
Gary Bowyer was a favourite of many Blackburn supporters and they were sad to see him go. Can you win over any doubters and secure their support, especially at this point of the season?

I'm very hopeful of that. If we're winning games and moving in the right direction, I have little doubt they'll be happy. We need the fans to get behind us to help us as well.

James Murdock - FourFourTwo magazine
Blackburn clearly have lofty ambitions and hiring you is said to be the latest step in meeting them. Are you the right person to deliver on their apparent promise, especially in the short term?

I'm confident in my managerial skills and hopefully they mesh well with this fantastic club. The lofty ambitions of the club are just as lofty as my own and I hope to reach them while I am in charge here.

Gary Joyce - Sky Sports News
It is often said that different managers favour different competitions. Will you be concentrating primarily on getting good results in the Premier League?

Of course it is. The league has to be my priority. That's what the fans want. This is the league that everyone wants to be a part of.

Grazie caio.

God **** gypsies!!! (Real madrid) stealing koscielny from under my nose!!

There is only one man who can replace him...where is Titus bramble these days?

Since when do Crystal Palace get matched with Liverpool, Man U, and Man City first 3 games of the season?! I'm happy with 2 draws out of those games though.

What happened to Lewie??

He left to join a different chairman game...actually 3 different chairman games, which 2 closed down within 2 days haha.
No word from him on here since he started commenting on the others.

I haven't took notice of the other games. It'd be too much to handle being in more than one. Shame on them!
