But it does mean you have a nice run now of easier teams. Also, after february 4th you don't have a traditional top 4 team to play.

Another good month for Cardiff

Cardiff carried their good form into a tough month with games against Liverpool, Newcastle and Man City.

SkySports Reporter: You seemed less than optimistic going into September, but picking up four points, was it a surprise?

Njmclare: If you asked me at the start of the month, I would have said that I would be happy with one point, picking up a draw with Newcastle. But picking up four points was fantastic and puts us further away from the drop zone. Defoe is continuing his fine form upfront, I just hope the rest of players can start to help him out a little bit. Aaron Lennon is yet to have a shot in seven appearances. I will be having words with Eileen Drewery, and if things don't improve with him, I will look at hanging Uri Geller out of helicopter to see if he can't help Lennon bend a shot away from the keepers grasp into the corner.

SkySports Reporter: Do you think the footballing power is starting to shift in South Wales?

Njmclare: It is only early in the season so they have plenty of time to turn things around, however I do think that Swansea are struggling with european football on thursday nights. There are may also be some off the field problems, I'm not sure if the chairman is a difficult character but their managers don't stick around too long, Laudrup, Monk, Wenger, Clarke and Rijkaard have all either been sacked or moved on to different clubs shortly after signing. Who knows how long Gary Bowyer will last!

Yes, If we can get our form back. I just thought it was very bizarre to get drawn against those particular teams to start the season.

To the Toffee faithful,
I understand that we should have been gracing the Champions League this season but it wasn't to be, we had a good run and we would like to thanks Roberto Martinez for time and efforts at the club. Looking forward to this season, we believe that we have a young side capable of achieving top four but they need your support this season. We now have in place a good balance of talented youngsters and experienced professionals. Under David Moyes management we believe that top six is a realistic target, allowing for him to settle back into things here, as he returns to Goodison following what he describes himself as an "unsuccessful spell" at Old Trafford, he'll be probably the first person to admit that he made the wrong decision to leave Everton in the first place. After a number of discussions with David, we feel that come January we will have to evaluate the situation and plan accordingly, he feels that once the team gets the grips with the new regime and expectations we could potential be looking at our Champions League challenge again this season. We are happy going forward no matter the outcome and want to reassure you that your club in safe hands.

Yours sincerely,

Neville Southall

Chris Kamara:- "Thanks for meeting with me Neville. [whispers] and thanks again for the Brazil tickets. Brilliant!"

"No problem, thanks for having me." -:Neville Southall

Chris Kamara:- "Well, were to start... What a dramatic finale to last season and has that changed anything for the club?"

"Yeah, what a season. I think last seasons squad was one of the best I've seen at Everton, the likes of Puyol, Giovinco, Sergi Roberto and Lukaku. It was great to have those players in and around an already strong team, we were disappointed to not be able to secure any of these players again for this campaign, we had expressed interest in Romelu and came to what was a brick wall of negotiations with the Chelsea chairman, I would like to say congratulations to Romelu as he was a player you could see him becoming a world class striker. But having said that I feel confident for this season, I think the team in hungry this season, with the nice distraction of the Europa League." -:Neville Southall

Chris Kamara:- "I myself was surprised you missed out on the Champions League last season, and it truly was a talented squad last season. How do you feel your team has coped so far this season."

"I have been impressed so far, considering we have abit of a younger first eleven compared to last season. Having picked up are first victory in europe, i think that will help us progress further. As we feel it's a competition we can go far in. Unfortunately I thin fatigue is going to be a big factor this season. So far, in the league it has been a bit of an odd start. Don't get me wrong, we've played big teams but I would have expected a better point average having slipped up against the like of Norwich, losing the game in the first 30 minutes." -:Neville Southall

Chris Kamara:- "Well it two wins on the bounce in the league since Norwich, so it must have had an affect on the game. No doubt Moyes made his views clear."

"Haha, that's one way to look at it. I have to say in between the two wins in the league, I was disappointed with our efforts at Newcastle in the League Cup, it is still a Mickey Mouse cup but a cup none-the-less and that was an embarrassment. And, yeah obviously Moyesy had a few words to say, he is a very dedicated man and I constantly see him having discussions with players individually on how to improve their game, and he certainly gives you confidence and you always know your place with him as he makes it very clear what he expects from you. Truly glad to have him back in charge, and I know the fans still worship him, also." -:Neville Southall

Chris Kamara:- "Well, thank you for your time Neville and good luck for the rest of the season, we'll catch up again in the next month or two."

"Thanks, see again soon." -:Neville Southall

Another average month for Arsenal!

Arsene Wenger may have returned to Arsenal less than one year ago but rumours suggest Mr Schwarzenegger is very unhappy with the way the team is performing!

Arnie has always been against Wenger at the helm calling him a "jumped up frenchman with less muscle than an 7 year old girl"

We have heard that Mr Wenger has been called into the office to discuss their recent performances! the draws against Fulham and Hull were particularly disappointing to "The Terminator" as he was expecting big victories!

He is also upset with the players appearing to have no passion against other champions league contenders Man City and Liverpool.

Most fans are calling this a bit over the top as they don't see the need to reprimand their managed this early in the season!

I can't see Wenger losing his job today but he is clearly under pressure to perform well. Arnie expects the best from his players and staff at all times and it looks like no player or staff are safe while he is in charge!

Always likes to be centre of attention doesn't he?

PS. This is the first time I haven't haven't had to google how to spell Schwarzenegger!!!

Decent Month for the Hammers!
West Ham chairman Raul, has indicated that he is pleased with the decent start the Hammers have experienced in the league. "Roberto has been doing an decent job so far, especially considering the obvious off-field issues that the club have experienced. "The players are showing fight for the club" claimed Raul, in a press conference this month. However, Raul suggests that the club needs to push on in the transfer window, however it seems as though Roberto Martinez's job is under review despite the club recording decent results.

A mixed month for the Rovers in September. A win, a draw and a lose were recorded from the three games that were played this month with 4 goals scored and 3 conceded. Jordan Rhodes got his third goal of the season in the league and loan signing Steven Naismith got off and running with a double along with Tom Cairney first of the season.

I caught up with the newly appointed Assistant Manager, Alex Dyer to find out his thoughts on an up and down month.

Alex Dyer, Assistant Manager

Simon - Hello Alex, how are you settling in at Ewood Park?

Alex - Hi Simon. Its been fantastic so far. Working with Gianfranco is a dream come true for me and all the lads seem really excited about having the Gaffer here.

Simon - So the first game for us in September was away to the Boleyn Ground to face West Ham in what already could have been construed as being a bit of a six pointer as both sides were near the foot of the table.

Alex - Far too early to call it a six pointer Simon but it was important for us to get something from the match after quite a poor start to the season. Unfortunately it was West Ham who started the better and in 18 minutes took the lead from a shot by their captain, Kevin Nolan. This woke us up and 5 minutes later we were back on level terms when Jordan Rhodes headed home a great ball from Tom Cairney. From then on it was a very evenly matched game and none of us could get another goal. So a good away point picked up, I believe.

Simon - 38 year old Alessandro Nesta had a man of the match performance against West Ham, keeping big Andy Carroll very quiet.

Alex - I thought that Alessandro was simply magnificent against the Hammers. A study in the art of defending from the experienced Italian. We just sat the rest of the squad down on the Monday and watched the video and told the youngsters that that was the target that they have to attain.

Simon - Next up was a hard match against the shock league leaders, Southampton. How did you all prepare for this one?

Alex - We had a great weeks preparation for this game. The gaffer had us working the players hard, trying to get every ounce of their being focused on getting a result there. We truely thought that we had a great chance of causing an upset there.

Simon - And it showed, a great performance from everyone.

Alex - Yeah it was and we were so unfortunate to not get the result that our performance merited. We absolutely pounded them. The players were so unlucky with us smashing the woodwork three times during the match. They stole that result, so they did. One shot on target the entire game and they go away with the three points and a one-nil victory. Just one of those days, is what we told the lads after it. We could easily have rattled in 4 or 5 goals any other day but it was just not to be for us.

Simon - That result could have destroyed the morale in the camp.

Alex - Yeah it could have but it galvanised the boys. They were mad that it ended the way it did and they just could wait until the next game to try and fix that. The training sessions all week were brilliant, with everyone giving 100%.

Simon - So onto the final game this month and another home tie against fellow strugglers Hull.

Alex - To be honest with you, Hull didn't stand a chance of getting a result that day. We were just too fired up, too focused for us not to get the victory that fate stole from us last week. Loanee Steven Naismith was untouchable in a man of the match performance that he topped with his first and second goals of the season. The first from a penalty kick after Jordan Rhodes was tripped in the box. His second a fine solo effort from just inside our own half. It was great to see our talented midfielder Tom Cairney getting on the score sheet as well in the second half with a well taken shot after some great passing build up play involving most of the team. Only downside in the match was not being able to keep a clean sheet when Otavio scored for Hull with 4 minutes left in the game.

Simon - Well that sums up September, what are you thoughts on the forthcoming month.

Alex - Its a tough one for us with two away matches against Newcastle and Man City followed by welcoming Liverpool to Ewood Park. But we will set up the squad to play the best they can and hopefully we can a result or two.

Simon - Thanks Alex and all the best

Hull City Chairman still backing Manager!!

Bob: We caught up with Disclaimer89 today and asked him a few questions!

Bob: Hi disclaimer89, thanks for taking the time out to answer a few questions!

Matt - who are you, where is Jeff?

Bob: Well after your outburst last time, he quit his job and moved back home with his parents!
Matt - Oh, probably for the best...he was complete tw*t!

Bob: Yes, yes...anyway back on topic. This Month was worse. what went wrong?
Matt - I know exactly where the problem lies, unfortunately Tom huddlestone is out for the past month and will continue to be out for the next two games. He has been leader in the middle of the park, leading by example; breaking up play and distributing threatening passes! Without him, I dont feel the players are that confident. We need him back soon!!

Bob: Dont you think you are relying too much on Tom, shouldn't you be saying "we need another to step up in Tom's absence"?
Matt: ...
Matt: ...Bob, dont you ever question my comments again or you too will be out of a job!!

Bob: Ermm nevermind, moving on. Didier Drogba, you promised us goals!! Where are they?
Matt: True, I did. Drogba has scored one in six games, which I expected better. In saying that, I fully expect him to at least double figures by Christmas! He has the quality to!

Bob: Is there any team you have been surprised with so far?
Matt - Well not exactly surprised, as they have quality. Seeing Southampton up there fighting the top dogs is great! SpanishDave has done excellent, he sold key players for huge profits and invested in more talents...ending up with making a lot of money and if anything a team that is performing better than they did before the personnel change!Although I guess I am surprised with Cardiff, I must admit with the amount of players brought in, I did think it would take longer to gel! The scary thing is..if they haven't gelled yet and are performing this well..then how far can they push on when firing on all cylinders!!

Anyway, that is all I have time for! Take care!

Bob: Thanks for your time! And there we have it, Disclaimer89 still backing his Team!

Big Bird's September Update

View attachment 396017

Tough month for the boys as they played three of the top five teams. Defeat at Manchester was followed by a convincing 1-0 home win against Liver-pool. Unfortunately then we failed to beat Arsenal - a poor performance by our Russian goaltender saw us throw away two points. The month ahead is a key one with some very winnable home games. Our trip to Cardiff though will be a tough one, Jermain Dafoe seems to be on fire at the moment....

Oscar The Grouch Moans.......

I'm not happy. We may be 8th in the league, but, Felix the Cat is not performing well as our manager. Bert and Ernie brought in some world class talent and he refuses to play certain players, like Tom Ince and Juan Iturbe, and yet can find a place for Derek Boateng..... I'm really not happy. The collective will be meeting over the next 24 hours to discuss Felix's future.

Bert and Ernie's Player Review

View attachment 396016

Player of the month, voted for by the boys and girls, was Sam Byram. Most improved player is Lucas Evangelista - he could certainly be MVP for the season.

Player we'd most like to see leave the club ASAP is Hugo Rodellega - he is not a nice person and we'd like him gone.

In the January transfer window we'll be making Martin Steklenburg available, as well as Scott Parker, Derek (boooooooooooooooooooo) Boateng, Bryan Ruiz, John Heitinga, Fernando Amorebieta and Danny Drinkwater.... Contact us if you have any offers, most will be made available on free transfers.......

We're off now to find a new manager, unless of course Felix the Cat keeps his job, which he won't, because he's old, and he's a lederhosen wearing German sausage munching cretin.... We're thinking Spain might be a good place to start :)

Been busy lately guys; project due for work this week.

So I'll be doing October update tomorrow and the November update the during the weekend, which will bring us to the start of December.

Also, FMRTE has had an update and is now compatible with the newest FM hot fix released last week, meaning I can now make manager changes.
(which is one of the reasons why I left the update a few days; waiting on the RTE patch).

So all who have requested a manager change in the past week, could you PM me again before tomorrow evening so I can make execute the manager change.

Cheers,
Matt

Wealthy Cat Seen Departing Craven Street

View attachment 394096

Following Oscar, Bert and Ernie's early season performance review of our manager, Felix The Cat, it has been unanimously decided to f*ck him out of the door.....

Due to the previous chairman's incredible level of insanity we have had to send him on his way with over 4 million pounds.... Making him the second richest cat in the world now, behind Garfield.

After a lengthy period of consultation, with some of the biggest names in soccer, we interviewed literally no-one.... and instead have appointed 32 year old Rafilla from the Spanish side Granada.

View attachment 394095

Rafa - as he'll be known to his friends - has been given very clear instructions to play a 4-2-3-1 formation and pick the players we bought in the July transfer window.... Otherwise he'll be f*cked out too.

We wish him all the best in his new role :)

Update soon, My PC Sh*t itself, currently reinstalling steam and FM14.

Hey guys, taking break for awhile. May end up closing the game, not sure yet.

As there doesn't seem much point continuing as people have seemed to have lost interest. The chairman game is definitely nowhere near as interactive as it used to be.

Which is a shame, thought this could have went on until FM15 came out.

I don't think people lost interest its just when you dont update for a while people will stop checking , an update of you pausing it for a while could do it and then people will know you will continue it soon.. its just you left it like this for around a week without saying anything (not blaming you or anything , dont know if something happened that you couldn't , just saying)

Cardiff City Calling Fowl Play
View attachment 393170
Cardiff City are fuming after it has been alleged Tony Pulis received information about the Cardiff team prior to the game. Crystal Palace beat cardiff 3-0, this after Cardiff beat arsenal 2-0 away from home at the beginning of the month. When the cardiff chairman was asked what difference it would make, considering the team has remained largely unchanged since the beginning of the season, he gave the reporter a death stare and said it was the principal of the matter. The same reporter then asked, whether he thought the 5 players signed from arsenal in the summer helped them with insider knowledge of arsenals tactics, Njmclare threw his shoe at him and told him to get out.
