a solid month for Forrest there big loss to Blackburn witch I was not happy with but a huge away win at spurs 4-1 well played lads good point in a hard month of fixture when we played the likes of Chelsea ,spurs, man u ,Blackburn and to get 2 wins 2 draws and 2 losses.

Motherfu****** - I will be crying myself to sleep now :) :'(

It seems like all teams that changed managers for December, were badly punished (maybe for changing tactics) !!
- except for Hull maybe...

Nice month for new chairman Elton John at Watford, with 3 draws including a 1-1 at Manchester United and a 2-2 at home to Spurs. A couple of losses against Everton and Chelsea and a solid win against West Brom rounded up a very difficult month well. Jack Collison was the player of the Month for Watford with a goal to top off the good midfield performances.

West Brom down and out???Swedish Revolution?
By Dan McGregor

Today whilst at Edinburgh Airport waiting for the disgraced Celtic star Leigh Griffiths to return from a weekend away, we bumped into a familiar face, although not the jolly one we are used to. Enter Angus Guthrie the Scottish Engineering Magnate and current owner of West Bromich Albion.

Looking rather disgruntled, I wasn?t sure what his response would be but he was polite and agreed to sit and chat with me, he even bought me a coffee. This interview is completely exclusive as no one else even recognised he was there.

DM: Thanks for taking the time to chat with me today Angus, first of all where are you flying in from today?

AG: Not a problem Dan, I needed to coffee anyway. I was in Gothenburg for the Easter weekend but I extended my trip for a few days.

DM: Any reason why it was extended?

AG: Whilst I was there I set up a few meetings.

DM: You seem to being a bit vague?

AG: So are your questions, what do you really want to know?

DM: Are you going to sack Andrea Stramaccioni?

AG: Yes, that is inevitable.

DM: That?s some very big news. I am presuming that Andrea knows that he is being replaced?

AG: Yes we have spoken at length and this season has not been acceptable by any standards. He is lucky to be in the job this long and he knows this.

DM: Do you have any names for us, potential candidates for the job?

AG: How many names would you like? Luis Enrique, Barry Ferguson, Dougie Freedman, Viktor Goncharenko, Mikael Stahre.

DM: Stahre is obviously one of the meetings you had in Gothenburg seeing as he is the current IFK boss.

AG: I had meetings with all of my candidates in Gothenburg but yes I started there as Mikael was based there. Attend an IFK game as well which was good.

DM: Do you have a time scale?

AG: Not at the moment, its just a matter of getting a deal over the line to be honest. Hopefully by the end of January.

DM: Well, Angus, thank you very much for this exclusive, I am now very eager to see which direction this club goes in. All the best.

AG: My pleasure, keeps your eyes peeled for big changes.

That concludes this report, not the one i was hoping for but an exclusive none the less. Interesting to see if Mr Stramaccioni reacts to comments made my Mr Guthrie today. Stay tuned.....

will do a press conference plus announce unwanted players tomorrow. I presume the window is open now?

Ten League games played over the last two months and i'm pleased to say we won seven, lost three and now find ourselves in 2nd place at the halfway stage of the season.

The reverses to Forest and Blackburn were poor and Rafa was most displeased as it ended our run of three successive wins. He reported back to the board his views but to be honest he speaks a very odd language and no-one has a clue what he said.....

His new methods though thankfully worked as we then went on a 7 match winning run including victories over Everton Mints, FC United, Tottingham and Chelski.

We ended the month losing to Southampton, but we don't mind that, we like Southampton and we'd like to compliment Spanish Dave on the way he runs his fantastic little club down there on the sea-side.

Finally, we have some tough games in January plus the start of the FA Cup. I hear it's the greatest cup competition in the world (according to the BBC), but for us we don't give a **** about it and hopefully we'll be eliminated against Wigan and can then concentrate on the league.

Not much to moan about this month, but I would like to ask our manager to play Juan Iturbe a big more often....

Bert and Ernie's Player Review

View attachment 390887

Player of the month (for the last two months) is most definitely Sam Byram. A fantastic signing from the Cardiff Dragons, he has been recognized by the FA too with the Young Player of the Month award for December. We thank Sam and wish him all the best for the future. Most improved player is Matej Vydra - six goals in his last eight games is very impressive.

We'll be making a number players available for transfer in the January window - more to come on that tonight.

Greetings, it is I the Count. They call me the Count because i like to count things..... This week we have two numbers to count - 0 and 50,000. Zero is the amount of first team players we intend fielding against Wigan in the FA Cup and 50,000 is the amount, in UK pounds, we'll be bribing the referee with to ensure we are knocked out.

Let's have a great month for all the boys and girls and lets make sure we maintain our Top 6 position so we can all go on a European vacation next season.....

Just Manchester United and Newcastle United left!

RUSSIAN COUP AT CARROW ROAD
View attachment 390811View attachment 390810

Norwich City have today announced that chairman and majority shareholder, DJ presenter Alan Partridge; has been displaced by Russian millionaire Viktor Brezhnev, who had become managing director at the club just over a year ago. Brezhnev was rumoured to have received the aid from a few of his friends at the kremlin as armed troops seized the premier league side's modest training ground. Brezhnev, who some say looks remarkably like Josh Brolin, said that he had felt the need to remove Partridge from power following rumours that the former chat show host was planning a multi billion pound takeover of Manchester United, which was turned down by the premier league in favour of another buyer.
'We have done well so far this season, Mackay will stay' said Brezhnev at his press conference with the canaries currently in 7th place in the premier league with a mixed bag of results in December. For January, the club weren't planning to be too busy but that their own squad will need to be trimmed down a bit which creates the possibility of more than a few players leaving for pastures new.

Transfer Window is now open!!

All chairman may now proceed to put up their transfer lists...

Window closes Sunday @9pm!!

I will once again provide a template for chairmen to fill out and use when you guys PM me about transfer deals; if it is not used I will not consider the transfer. The template will allow me to easily copy and paste the transfer details into my excel project and will save me time from having to calculate every players new wage and their transfer price, which when I get 50 transfer messages, it can take a while

Within the template is the transfer type, the name of the player, current team he plays for, new value of the player and his new wage he will be on. I will also provide the simple program I wrote to help you guys calculate new transfer values and new wages of players. Use this to help you.

Transfer/Wage calculator
This program requires users to select a few options in regards to their transfer target, such as DOM or FGN, u18, 19-32 or 33+ and international caps, along with typing in the current wage and market value of the player. The program will then take all the chairman game rules into consideration and calculate the new wage and transfer price. After that all you need to do is put the details into the template and send them to me.
This should speed things up for all chairmen and myself

Here we go again, back round to the January transfer window..I hope all chairmen the best of luck and do well!

Businessman Rafael Thompson takes over Liverpool after previous chairman stepped down

Liverpool has announced Rafael Thompson as their new chairman. Thompson has said to be proud to be given such a big opportunity and can't wait to start with his job. He will have a lot of work to do as Liverpool are only 14th in the league and the season is already halfway. On top of that, the club is also having financial troubles which need to be dealt with.

After Diego Simeone had been sacked in December, the German and former Malaga manager Bernd Schuster has been hired by the club. According to the new chairman, Schuster will be given a chance to prove himself at the club, but if he doesn't succeed Thompson already has a replacement in mind.
