Middlesbrough 2 - 0 Wigan Athletic

A Patrick Bamford brace gave us the 3 valuable points today.

Other teams slipped up giving us a 4 point cushion over 2nd placed Watford.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Watford 2 - 1 Middlesbrough

We lose to Watford live on TV. They now close the gap at the top to 1 point.

We gave away a very sloppy goal just before half time which we struggled to get over. Adam Forshaw getting our only goal.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Middlesbrough 3 - 1 Rotherham Utd

When Rotherham got their early opener, I thought “Here we go”, but thankfully due to me shouting and screaming from the touchline, we got an equaliser and then went on to grab all 3 points.

Adam Clayton got our equaliser, followed by a Patrick Bamford brace.

Midfielder Grant Leadbitter has been given an automatic 3 game ban after collecting 15 yellow cards. This is a huge blow for us because he's been so instrumental in a defensive midfield role.

With 4th placed Wolverhampton Wanderers manager-less, and their Head of Youth Development Gareth Prosser in charge, I thought we might have a chance.

Middlesbrough 0 - 2 Wolverhampton Wanderers

We frustrated Wolves for most of the first half, and then they resorted to hacking and injuring 2 of my players, Rhys Williams and Emmanuel Ledesma. Williams is going to be out for 3-4 weeks with an injured ankle.

In the end it was a very poor Boro display and Wolves fully deserved their win.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

It seemed a long coach trip to Norwich, and all I could do was think how tough a game this was going to be. I knew that we had a slightly better goal difference than them, so if we lost then we'd no doubt still stay 2nd, but it kept playing over in my mind that these final 3 league games were so crucial.

Norwich City 3 - 3 Middlesbrough

To say I was furious was an understatement. We got our midfielder Birkir Bjarnason sent off for 2 offences on 35 minutes, but then Kike decided to turn into a goal machine by grabbing a hat-trick. I changed tactics to play more defensively but to hit them on the counter, because 3 points were ours, right...........wrong. My stupid players only decided to allow Norwich to score 3 goals in 17 minutes.

I told them all, barring Kike, what I thought of them. A win would have just about guaranteed us a top 2 spot come the season end. Now it's nervy times.

Kike injured his ankle during training, and since we needed him against Fulham, I decided we should pay the £500 medical costs of injections for him, just to get him through this important match.

Kike came barging into my office and after much argument between us, he stormed out stressing that he will not be having these injections. He said he's contemplating a transfer request. Until that time, he is out for 3-4 weeks injured.

Fulham 1 - 1 Middlesbrough

A very important point against a strong Fulham team, live on TV. Emmanuel Ledesma managed to get us an equaliser with a stunning 25 yard free kick.

Scott McDonald injured his ankle during the game will be out for 3-4 weeks.

We now end this month in 2nd place after 45 games and 86 points.

I'd really hoped for 10 points this month, but we could only manage 8 points.

Either Watford, Norwich City or ourselves can claim the top 2 automatic promotion spots so it's going to be a tense final day of the season.

88 points Watford (1st) vs Sheffield Wednesday (23rd Relegated)
86 points Middlesbrough (2nd) vs Brighton & Hove Albion (18th)
83 points Norwich City (3rd) vs Fulham (16th)

Thanks mate, got carried away with my family yesterday so never got chance to finish my 1st season off. Hoping to do so tonight or tomorrow.

Middlesbrough 1 - 3 Brighton & Hove Albion

We lose 3-1 to Brighton, but thankfully for us Norwich also lost their game 2-0, so we grab the automatic 2nd spot. Watford won their game 2-1.

Emmanuel Ledesma got our only goal from the penalty spot. I was furious with midfielder Grant Leadbitter. Obviously a title challenge meant nothing to him as he was once again sent off for 2 bookable offences, and is to be banned for 2 matches next season.

Jonathan Woodgate came on as a substitute at half time, then walked around the ground to thank the fans. His contract won't be renewed once it expires in June 2015, and he has since announced his retirement from football.

I was elated that we'd gained promotion to the the Premier League. I was hoping to stay at Middlesbrough Football Club for a while longer, but I'll just wait to see what Chairman Steve Gibson decides to do.

But for now, I'll go home and celebrate this success with my family and get ready to book a holiday abroad.

Watford were crowned Champions. Middlesbrough finished 2nd. Huddersfield Town beat Norwich City on penalties to win the Playoffs.

I only have a transfer budget of £9.2m for the 2015/2016 season in the Premier League. I'd like to sign both Tomas Kalas and Patrick Bamford, but I think they'll be priced outside of my range.

We only have a small squad, so I won't look to sell many players. Perhaps midfielder Grant Leadbitter because of his very poor disciplinary record, and midfielder Adam Clayton because of a poor season where he didn't contribute anywhere near as much as he should have.

Middlesbrough Football Club are extremely happy to announce that Manager Darran Parker has signed a 2 year deal to remain at the helm of this fantastic club.

-------------------------------------------------------

After lengthy contract talks I signed a 2 year deal worth £22,000 p/w, which is a pay rise of £7,000 p/w from my current contract. I wanted more money since I'm now a Premier League manager, but they would only agree to my £22,000 request.

Middlesbrough Football Club Chairman Steve Gibson has announced a cash injection of £3m to cover debt incurred this season, so finances now sit at £800,000

Well done on the promotion mate! If i remember rightly, Bamford's contract is up at end of season so with a month to go, try to snap up on a free!

Thanks mate.

No, Bamford's has another year or 2 to run. I tried to sign him but they wanted £32m. Bit out of my price range lol. Even trying to re-sign him on loan and they want me to pay £300k a month fee. I'll avoid this for now.

Congrats on the promotion, mate.

Are you planning on any big transfers for your Premiership stay?

Well done on the promotion mate, time to hit the transfer market ;)
