October 2015 Fixtures

3rd - Manchester Utd (Home)
17th - Everton (Home)
25th - Arsenal (Away)

Such a tough month of fixtures. I'd be more than happy to get 2 points.

Middlesbrough 0 - 0 Manchester Utd

Such an amazing battling performance by Boro. We altered the tactics prior to the game, more in the hope of getting a draw if truth be told, and that's what we managed to achieve.

On the 7th October 2015, defensive midfielder Sergio Alvarez twisted his ankle in training and will be out for 5-6 weeks.

Middlesbrough 1 - 2 Everton

Striker Lukas Podolski got Everton's opener, but luckily for us, Captain Tom Thorpe got us an equaliser following a corner. We couldn't hold on as Everton took control and midfielder James McCarthy blasted in Everton's winner from 25 yards out.

Cristian Benavente went off injured during the match, and will be out for 3-4 weeks with a twisted ankle.

Arsenal 5 - 1 Middlesbrough

Today we got taught a lesson by Arsenal, as they destroyed us live on TV. Adam Clayton gave the travelling fans a little something to enjoy by getting a well curled 18 yard consolation goal.

After 9 Premier League games we sit 8th, with 16 points. I'd hoped for 2 points this month, but we could only manage 1 point.

November 2015 Fixtures

1st - Newcastle Utd (Away)
7th - Queens Park Rangers (Home)
21st - Crystal Palace (Away)
28th - West Ham Utd (Home)

I'd be happy with 4 points this month, as I'm hoping we can get a win against rivals Newcastle Utd.

Another heated rivalry match against Newcastle Utd, live on TV, which I'm hoping we can come away from with a win. It's going to be a tough game, so I called all the players in for a chat a few hours prior to kick off, to get them prepared and motivated for this massive game.

Newcastle Utd 2 - 0 Middlesbrough

Boro never stood a chance in this game, once centre back Tom Thorpe conceded a penalty and got a straight red card after only 7 minutes.

We tried desperately to get back into the game at 2-0 down, but our finishing was quite poor.

I dwelled on the performance all night and think I kept the house up, pacing the floors. I got to the office early the following day, and reviewed centre back Tom Thorpe's discipline record and I wasn't happy. 2 yellow cards and 2 red cards in only 10 games. I called him and asked him to meet me in my office. A couple of hours later Thorpe turned up. I told him that I'd be fining him a week's wages after his latest red card, and I reminded him that he was to be suspended for 2 games. I also told him that I needed a better leader as a Captain, so I would be removing the honour from him, and giving it to Daniel Ayala. Thorpe wasn't happy, but I told him that he'd still be Captain and we wouldn't be having this conversation if he could keep his cool, and stay on the pitch for 90 minutes, not 7 minutes.

With 3 of my Goalkeeper's out injured it was left to 19 year old Joe Fryer to keep the goals out.

Middlesbrough 3 - 1 Queens Park Rangers

Boro's goalkeeper Joe Fryer played really in goal today and made some important saves.

Boro goals came from midfielder Adam Forshaw, a nice placed shot by Emmanuel Ledesma, and substitute Raul De Tomas.

We added a new Coach to the club in former England and Manchester Utd midfielder Paul Scholes.

Left back Rodrigo Alborno injured his ankle in training and is out for 3-4 weeks. Winger Emmanuel Ledesma is out for 3-4 weeks with an achilles tendonitis.

On 22nd November 2015, Tony Pullis has been sacked by West Bromwich Albion Football Club.

Nice progress so far.

I like the additional info you're providing besides the results. Keep going mate. :)

Crystal Palace 1 - 2 Middlesbrough

Goalkeeper Joe Fryer had another great game live on TV.

Adam Clayton scoring inside 2 minutes with a penalty. Palace struck back before half time thanks to Rickie Lambert. I told the guys at half time to try to keep possession and hit Palace on the counter. They must have listened because Kike got our winner, with a thundering strike on 49 minutes.

West Ham Utd 1 - 0 Middlesbrough

We rarely troubled West Ham, and it was striker Andy Carrol who condemned us to defeat.

Striker Raul De Tomas suffered a groin strain during the game and is out for 2-3 weeks.
