On the 4th February 2015, Middlesbrough Football Club have announced the signing of a truly amazing player arriving on a free transfer on 1st July 2015. Real Madrid's 20 year old Peruvian midfielder Christian Benavente. Benavente has agreed on a £10,000 p/w 3 year deal.

Middlesbrough 2 - 1 Charlton Athletic

Kike scored a 55 yard goal. Keeper Stephen Henderson cleared the ball as far as Adam Clayton who passed the ball to Kike, who seeing that Henderson was way off his line, scored a sublime goal.

Patrick Bamford got Boro's winner late on.

It seems to be a trend for Boro players getting too many cards this season. This time Grant Leadbitter gets his second yellow card on 70 minutes. He'll now be banned for 1 game.

After much deliberation I decided to offer Goalkeeper Dimitris Konstantopoulos a 1 year contract extension worth £6,000 p/w. He accepted this on 8th February 2015.

Should be able to mount a real assault on the top 2 this month Biggie, keep it up!

As an Aussie I have a soft spot for "Boro" after watching "Dukes" pull them out of the fire again & again ;)

Blackpool 1 - 2 Middlesbrough

Another narrow victory, this time against bottom club Blackpool. Adam Clayton getting his first ever Boro goal from the penalty spot. It was nervy times once Blackpool levelled, but thankfully substitute Scott McDonald was there to lash in at close range following a Kike cross.

Birmingham City 1 - 4 Middlesbrough

When Birmingham took the lead I panicked and thought we'd struggle to get back into it because they looked so organised, however we did through Patrick Bamford. Luckily for us, he kept scoring. A hat-trick. Emmanuel Ledesma chipping in with a great goal too.

Haha thanks buddy. Yeah we hit such amazing form just at the right time.

On 15th February 2015, I was shocked to hear the news of Blackburn Rovers Football Club. Blackburn have gone into administration and have been deducted 10 points. They have gone from 5th place to 11th, 7 points adrift of the playoffs now.

Middlesbrough vs Leeds Utd is usually a hot tempered affair, by both players and fans alike, so I was hoping my players would be fired up, but sensible and not of crazy mind. With Norwich slipping up to Watford we had a chance to go top.

Middlesbrough 2 - 0 Leeds Utd

An excellent team performance resulted in a valuable win thanks to a Kike brace.

We now go top of the table by 1 point.

George Friend injured his ankle during the match and is out for 4 weeks. Rhys Williams suffered a groin strain also, and will be out for 3 weeks.

Going into the Bolton game, we are 11 games unbeaten and have won 8 straight games. I'm a little nervous because Bolton are doing exceptionally well. I took my family out for the afternoon to take my mind off this tough evening fixture.

Middlesbrough 3 - 0 Bolton Wanderers

What a win against 5th placed Bolton. I believe we have a Championship winning team.

A Patrick Bamford brace before half time was then followed up by substitute Scott McDonald.

Sheffield Wednesday 1 - 3 Middlesbrough

Legendary Boro player Tony Mowbray is in charge of Sheff Wed and the Boro fans sang his name from the stands in appreciation for all he's done for Middlesbrough Football Club.

17 year old centre Niall McGoldrick got his first full start for Boro, after been promoted from the youth team. He had a great game by getting a full time rating of 7.

Sheff Wed took the lead, but thankfully we hit back with an Adam Forshaw equaliser, followed by a brace from substitute Santi Mina.

I'd hoped for 12 points this month, but again we excelled and got a maximum of 18 points.

We currently sit 1st in the Sky Bet Championship with 71 points after 34 games.

It's been announced that February 2015 Awards go to Patrick Bamford who is named Player of the Month, Tomas Kalas who is named Young Player of the Month, and Middlesbrough Football Club manager Parker has been named Manager of the Month after guiding the club to 6 wins out of 6 this month.

March 2015 Fixtures

3rd - Millwall (Home)
7th - Nottingham Forest (Away)
14th - Ipswich Town (Home)
17th - Derby County (Away)
21st – Bournemouth (Away)

I'm hoping for around 10 points this month. Forest and Derby will be tough games.

Middlesbrough 0 - 1 Millwall

Centre back Niall McGoldrick had a nightmare game. Conceding a penalty in the 2 minute, which was converted, then getting sent off after 29 minutes for his second booking. We tried despearately to grab an equaliser but just couldn't, even though we'd had 30 shots.

Our 13 game unbeaten run comes to an end today. I went home extremely disappointed for our fans.
-----------------------------------------------------------

Nottingham Forest 1 - 2 Middlesbrough

Boro go back to winning ways.

When Forest took the lead I thought we would struggle, but a Kike brace won us this important match.

-------------------------------------------------------

Middlesbrough 1 - 0 Ipswich Town

Adam Forshaw's early goal was the only difference in this hard fought game.

Unlucky with the Millwall game! Did you reprimand McGoldrick?

Derby County 3 - 3 Middlesbrough

If it wasn't for Goalkeeper Dimitiris Konstantopoulos' great saves then we'd have surely lost this game. Going 2-0 up, I thought we'd win quite comfortably, but Derby came back to 2-2. We then went ahead again, only to throw it away 3 minutes later.

Kike, Adam Clayton and Emmanuel Ledesma were our goalscorers.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Bournemouth 2 - 0 Middlesbrough

A very disappointing performance by Boro, and with Watford winning their game, they now close the gap in the table to 1 point.

Thanks mate, and yes I fined him a weeks wages, so he caused quite a stir in the dressing room. Lets just say that he won't be playing again for some time.

I'm thinking of reverting back to the old game day screenshots I did for next season, the cropped ones take up too much room on the thread.

Good stuff.

Yeah personally I probably preferred the gameday screenies but mainly because I liked seeing where you were on the table - I'm a nosey parker like that!

After 39 games we still sit top of the Sky Bet Championship with 78 points.

I'd hoped for 10 points this month, but we only managed 7 points.

Yes I liked them better, but the remaining few I've cropped.

April 2015 Fixtures

4th - Wigan Athletic (Home)
6th - Watford (Away)
11th - Rotherham Utd (Home)
14th - Wolverhampton Wanderers (Home)
18th – Norwich City (Away)
25th - Fulham (Away)

We have tough fixtures, as Watford, Wolves and Norwich are all in the top 4. I'm hoping for 10 points.
