Ahh bad luck. Hopefully you can get another team into the top flight in any country and prove you deserved to stay up.

"Change, we can believe"

Former Burnley Manager Rudolf Martinez has been appointed Manager of Italian Serie B side Rimini, Rimini Chairman Alessio Daniele said "We our delighted to have Rudolf as our new Manager, we hope he can lead us to success in the near future and keep the side in the Serie B championship".

Martinez himself said "I am delighted to be offered a second chance to test my Mangerial abilities, I have never coached in Italy but I am sure I can adapt to this new culture and style of play, I am looking to sign new players in the transfer market and maybe offload a few, I am very pleased to be back in Management".

Martinez has a budget of 1.3 Million and a wage budget of 65k.

I would change the thread name to something like "The story of Rudolf Martinez" or something like that so it applies to all the jobs.

Nice new club btw.

How do you change a thread name btw???

Anyway good luck at your new club, Rimni :P

Gutted to see you got relegated Jack, Never managed outside of England myself so not sure what your chances will be with Rimini but by the looks of it you have taken up another challange just hope you have better luck with Rimini than you did with Burnley. Will be interesting to see the quality of player you can pick up with that team too.

I've never done Italy myself, It will be an interesting challenge but Rimini came up from an un active League so they have a small squad so I literally have to put the whole squad together myself. I have a nice budget to do so though.

Nice thread name mate good luck at your new team

Nice new thread name. Rimini will be world beaters in 5 years, no doubt.

Hmmm maybe, we'll see and Kris my Burnley squad wasn't that good so your tactic was as effective, Miles Addison is no Obi Mikel or Essien ;)

New Boys

Rimini Manager Rudolf Martinez has announced two new signings, both players come on free transfers, the first one being Cameroonian Striker Idrissou and young Italian midfielder Massimo Taddei. Manager Martinez said "I am delighted to bring in two great players, Idrissou offers a wealth of experience and provides an outstanding arial threat, he is also two footed which gives us another bonus, Idrissou has scored plenty of goals in Germany so I am confident he can do the same in Italy. Massimo is a young player with great vision and passing ability, he will turn into a great player when he matures, he will slot into our midfield nicely".

Martinez has also appointed the Italian National Assistant Manager Pietro Ghedin as his Assistant.

Best of luck mate.

Btw, like the thread name but would have preferred "Martinez.. Shaken, not stirred!" :P

Bad luck mate with relegation etc..

Some advice for Serie B team use and abuse the loan system you can loan a whole team paying very few wages what I ahve done on my Carrarese game especially Serie B got bout 8 players on loan who are amazing at Serie B just raid big team reserves like Fiorentina they have a few up for grabs

Will give it go Danny, waiting for transfers window to open atm, I already hate the co-owning players I have, waste of wages

Unlucky with the relegation mate, but fair play for playing on.

Strength to Strength

Rimini have confirmed the signings of Rolando Zarate, Anton Peterlin, Thierno Bah and Jorge Garcia, Rudolf Martinez said "I am relishing these players in action, they add a mixture of experience, youth and energy into the the side and that is something I am looking forward to, I am looking forward to seeing them on the training field".

Spainard Cordero also joins Rimini as scout, he joins Rudolf Martinez's thin backroom staff.

Unlucky mate:(
When i get sacked after relegation i aim to go down to the league my previous club was relagated to
i.e.
unfortunately, Wigan were releagated on last day and i got sacked so took over Peterborough and within two seasons got them promoted

Sign Traore for Rimini
He was your top scorer and could do you good

Traore might not want to join him and he might not be able to afford Traore. But you are right roonaldo I always sign my old players when I move club.
