i want many of the ideas posted here to be in fm 2011 but I would really like SI to lower the injury rate a bit, my squad is not injury prone but there are 2-3 players injured every match and for a long time very often.

A sort of motd magazine highlight thingy....might already have one but ive not come across anything....would be good to have like a pundit style person in that magazine so you can see more how your teams performance was processed by the public and the footballing world

Simple things like your manager jumping in joy when you score and putting his head in his hands when you concede.

1.You should be able to manage clubs reserve and youtrh squads

2.And something I dont think I've seen someone include is that the game should include a scenario mode with challenges like the 80m challenge posted on this site amongst others built into the game

2. In FM2010 I've applied to B teams in spanish league in a career game... But then in Spain B teams aren't in a separate league system like they are in England. Not the same but worth mentioning, I thoguht.

I would abosultely love for you be able to design a stadium such as the design system they had on LMA. That was amazing!

We get this every year about buying clubs and designing stadiums which are just not realistic especially since this is Football "MANAGER". The manager doesnt go off buying other teams nor does he design a stadium, that is why the boardroom is there.

Something that would be cool is to have players have personal problems like divorces, affairs etc and i know that can't happen or there would alot of legal issues about real life players going to court because they have been accused of something in a gams but they could always make it available for regens

Another good one would be if you could tell your team to drop the intesity in the second half and just focus on stroking the ball around and not do alot of off the ball movement. In my main game my team plays twice a week almost the whole season and plays alot of weaker opponents. More often than not i find myself in 3-0 up with a half hour to go and want my players fresh for the next game instead of having to have a squad of like 25 guys rotating every game.

I know they have a "take a breather" command but it would be good if you could time when to up the intensity (say when your opponents usually concede goals)and when to bring it down (when youve gone a few goals up).

Just a thought.

Edit: just thought of another one for tactics. being able to tell your players to keep the ball on the ground. I know they have "pass to feet" but that is more telling them not to play through balls which is just stupid.

I would like to see more detailed tactics. For example, I saw in Championship Manager something like, when you have a free kick or a corner, you are able to put players in the necessary positions and to put their movements when the free kick/corner is being kicked. Like, you are able to put how much players you want in the opposition yards when it's a free kick/corner and how they shall move when it's being kicked. Also, you can try to see how it works, on training.

I would like to see:

- an improvment of AI - could always use improvment

- a detailed "Create a stadium" where you can chose the fabrics, shapes, etc.

- all new camera view: manager view camera, like you would be in the dugout or something. I think it would make it more realistic.

- YELLOW CARD for simulation of foul

- 3D training i think would be a little boring, so i would just introduce a simulation of training. If that gets boring too then we would ask the the assistent manager to control most of the training sessions, while the manager would focus on other things, like working with a specific player or a small group of players.

- also in training: creating a weekly schedule. Perhaps multiple training sessions a day, and controling what the players would be working on in training. Like 30 minutes cardio, 45 minutes passing drill, worm up, cool down, etc. I'm sure the guys at S.I. are creative.

- more player/chairman/assistent manager iteractions. Actually having the possibility of having a dialog with them.

- more questions in the Press Conferences, but limiting the number of questions to 4 or 5 max. per conference, therefore they wouldn't ask the same old boring questions every time. I would add about 50 new questions which would be asked randomly every conference.

I think there were more things that i wanted but i forgot...
PS: The "hands on training" option would slow down the game speed making it more realistic. My opinion.

how about the game does not adopt the normal style of "if it happened six months ago, it never happened"
what I mean is I'm sick of the start of season board confidence never reflects how long you have been successful at the club.
You win the league one season then at the start of the next board confidence levels are reset.
there are other things that follow the if it happened six months ago it never happened rule of FM

Changing kits from one season to the next.

Nothing major, just maybe a change of the away kit colour? I hate being in 2016 and still having the same kits. I'm sure S.I can get some work done for that, it would make me want to play the game longer if there actually was a feel of the time progressing instead of the same sort of experience every single time.

1. Having more to say in a young players development. Currently we just find some young talented player and try to get the max out of what he WILL BECOME not training him INTO a player. Mostly I mean that when 15 year old regen joins a club his positional abilities are already fixed. I would like to see the players joining the club described as goalkeepers, defensive and attacking players at most and you as the manager would guide their development into a footballing specialist the modern game requires. So you would have to decide based on the players attributes where and how to play him. I believe it was Gallas who started out as a striker.

2.It would be nice to have real sponsor names added to the game, although it could be quite expensive for SI to get the rights. But to give us the opportunity to replace fake names put in by SI with real ones like it is with the German national team right now.

3.An option to have the replay automatically from a different camera angle.

And many more but I just can't think of any right now.

i agree with the scenario mode as it gives users a change from the same old routine, althought my plan is instead of it being user loaded scenarios, the game could generate different scenarios such as relegation battles, 6 games to go in the season, can you qualify for europe etc!, as for the chairmen mode, every year it gets included but never seems to get picked up, i would love to see this included when you finally retire from the game

possibility to choise yourself the new kit sponsorship!
possibility to add, after many year at a club and after you rejected many offers for other teams, that club on "Favourite Clubs"
possibilty to add players at "Favourite players"
something new at training.
suspect, but the referees have always right...

There is many things that can be improved, but the one thing that gets to me the most is that i cant be my true age, apparently its not realistic if i m a manager who is 18 or 19 or whatever but is it realistic to have a woman manager (no offence to any women of course) it grinds on me, the way that when u go to select your age from the drop down menu it teases you into thinking you can be that young but then laughs at you when u realise your like 30 something. however small this issue is i think its one of the biggest if you get me :s

remember it is still a game (for those of u that dont no that means its not real) not saying the players should be green and shoot laser beams but let the leash loose a little bit. ye there are some niggly things with the gameplay but then again there always will be but i really do hope SI can sort something out!

what i think would be pretty cool would be if u had the option to go out for a meeting with the chairman/owner of the club every month or so, and by doing this you develop a relationship with him and during the meeting he ask's you questions, and if he likes ur answers, your relationship improves.
Then by having a good relationship, when you ask him for extra funds in the board room requests section there is a better possibility of him agreeing, but if you dont see eye to eye with him he will reject your request. Thoughts???

Not realistic madipie. The game is already set to a real life setting to where if you show the board that you make good use of the money you've been given at the start of your career they'll allow more requests from you in the next season, but if you're new to the club and expect to get a positive answer from the board simply for having a great personality is just not going to happen.

I think you should be able to do famous campaigns - such as Brian Clough's career or Arsene Wenger or something like that - prompted by the many stories (including my old one before my computer broke..) emulating such managers I think it might be good if there was a database or something built in (I don't know how these things work!...) like in "Imperial Glory" or "Age of Empires/Mythology" etc.
Just a thought - let me know what you think
