After 28 Caps for England, John Price will make his debut this summer at a world cup, and he will carry the weight of a nation on his shoulders. Game 1 Vs Argentina (Group H)

Price began the tournament as he meant to go on with a goal in his first world cup performance, Price scored their second goal which was cancelled out by Legend Lionel Messi late in the game. England should have won the game but Wayne Rooney missed a spot kick that would have seen them take 3 points.

Game 2 Vs South Africa (Group H)

Price scored for the second consecutive game at this years world cup as he rescues a point for England with a bullet header on the 25 minute mark. He will be very confident going into the final game of the group.

Price ended his run of goals for England, after 5 goals in 5 games he turned provider in the 2nd round of the World Cup with 2 assists for fellow Chelsea player Hughes. England will now face Chile in a favourable qarter final.

Game 5 Vs Chile (Quarter Final)

View attachment 328407

England suffer and unlikely defeat against Chile in the Quarter finals of the World cup, Price was unable to impact the game and saw the South American side outplay his England side throughout the game.

Overall 3 goals in 5 World cup games will be seen as a successful debut tournament for the young man but he will no doubt go away with some dissapointment that they couldnt advance further in the tournament. Brazil ran out winners in the cup, whilst Price claimed the best young player at the tournament.

Yeah he will smash 1000 games in all, and possibly reach 1000 in competitve games. Ill check your guy out mate.

Price Used Sparingly During Pre Season

Despite his brilliant form last season Mr Mazzari has chosen to use star strike John Price from the bench during pre season, allowing the rest of the strikers to show what they can do. Price made one start ans 4 sub appearances scoring once and recording an average of 7.57.

He will be hoping this isnt a sign of things to come for the season, however this was similar to last season when he was used sparsely during the friendly fixtures and started almost every game during the season.

An international hat-trick, and the beggining of the season underway.

Another season under his belt and he's really looking good now, let me know what you think....

Chelsea Striker John Price is amongst the favourites to claim this years Ballon D'or. If he wins the award he could become the first player ever to win the World Player of the Year and European Golden Boy in the same season as he looks set to claim his third EGB award in a row. Price has 21 goals and 17 assists in a year that was interupted by injury with 3 seasons to go so it will come as some surprise if he does in fact take the crown.

John Price came in the top 3 for three awards at the end of a brilliant year cut short by injury. Many pundits believe he may have placed higher in two awards had he not missed the final 3 months of 2018.

Price came third behind Mess and Ronaldo for the Ballon D'or recieving 103 vote points, he came runner up in the world player of the year behind messi and ahead of Fellow englishman Jack Wilshere. The two awards may have looked different had the 21 year old been able to finish out the season and compete at the club world championship.

Price did however claim his third consecutive European Golden Boy award, no other player has ever taken three of these awards and Price will still be eligible for the trophy for 2 more seasons. He claimed the award by scoring 21 times and assisting 17 in 41 games this year with an average rating of 7.95.

Next season Price will surely be aiming for the Ballon D'or, do you think he has what it takes to win it?

Not Price's best season so far due to the injury but good to see him being rewarded for his development!!

It was a tough time for price during his injury, missing the club world championships and missing out on the Ballon D'or but price is putting everything in to ensure that the season ends on a high.

Another Brilliant season for Price on the whole sees him scoring at will and increasing his value to the club dramatically. Having a rate of less than two games per goal shows just how prolific he is for Chelsea, and just imagine how the season might have gone if he hadnt been injured, what does next year have in store for Price?

Development 2018 to 2019

John Price will be more up for this season than ever before after his brilliant form towards the back end of last season. In pre season he continued that form, appearing 5 times from the bench for Chelsea in their friendly schedule. Price found the net twice in pre season and will hope that the season to come will be his best yet. The Ballon D'or runner up last season will look to go one better this!!

Captain Price

In John Price's 3rd season at Chelsea Football club he has been rewarded for his brilliant form and commitment to the club by being handed the captains armband. Price had donned the armband in a few pre season games over the past couple of years but has been named the skipper by Mazzari for the season as he sees Price as an ideal leader and rolemodel for the younger players.
