lol true, city gone into spending mode start of 3rd seas signing modric, fellaini, marchisio so far. hope your boro save goes well mate will have to keep us posted.

It was literally a case where both Ba & Cisse were injured at the start, I played Welbeck and he started bagging goals all of the time!

Cisse was used as backup and I got rid of Ba in January as he was moaning about playing time... and I could only really play him on the left wing but didn't want to as he's not naturally left footed - and Marveaux got loads of assists so I wasn't dropping him!

Just about to start second season now - Welbeck wouldn't come back to me (despite me being on his favoured personel!) so I signed a guy called Abdellaoue to rotate with Cisse and got Showcross and Capdevilla.

I normally got crazy in my 2nd season and sign anyone and everyone but am learning my lesson that that will only disrupt the squad... so leaving it at 3 signings.

My team is:

GK: Krul
DR: Santon
DC: Shawcross
DC: Collucini
DL: Capdevilla
MC: Tiote
MC: Cabaye
AMR: Guitierrez
AMC: Ben Arfa
AML: Nene
SC: Cisse

Will do. Confident about getting up. Its in the Prem i want to see how it does, as a newly promoted club.

Aha I have noticed city on this new patch are just crazy, they really do push you for the title every season.
In this case I would still say winning the champions league, world club championship and league cup is a good achievement :)
In my opinion as long as you win either the champions league or premiership with atleast one of the domestic cups ( fa cup or league cup), then its a good season!

Very wise. I usually have a 3 players in maximum too.

Do you have any tips to improve this tactics defense? I know its an attacking tactic, and it is excellent going forward, but seem to conceed over a goal a game.

Buy good defenders. Try and have one of your CBs fast.

Would it be worth changing the fullbacks to tight marking, as I feel they just let the oppositions wide players run with the ball?

You cant make a tactic more defensive without making it less attacking. If you want to try it then give it a go. Personally im happy with how it is. Ive been battered a few times but im winning the vast majority well.

Currently testing out Knap's tactic from si forums. It's going really well, in the premier league Ive played 17 scored 70 conceded 8 won 15, lost 1, drawn 1.

Woody's tactic is up next, if knap's fails my last few test games against the big teams!
 
Starting a new season with swansea.. small pitch, same squad as last time but with quintero up top.


taking a while to get the familarity bar up in pre season any help?

really on and off. was doing well and now gone 6 games without a win.. i always do bad away and i normally concede a lot any suggestions??
 
For the real big away games try changing the strategy from attacking to standard and use retain possession shout it's working well for my Newcastle save just beat man u away 3-1 also use the calm team talk-good luck out there today and don't forget to praise them at end.amazing tactic by the way. Well done JP.
 
ok ive changed it to default , im away to play spurs at the lane, there 16th im 10th so hopefully i can pick up a win,, is this tactic fine for away games or just home games?
 
Won champions league premier league and carling cup with Newcastle in second season and found that all need to change with the tactic is the match prep to defensive positioning before real tough away games that's all and my assistant does team talks. The best result was beating real Madrid in champions league final 6-1 and was 4-0 up by 20 mins.starting third season 2moz. This is one real addictive game and this tactic is awesome
