Looks like you're at that stage where you walk over every club!

I was needing advice on how you manage to start of small (in this case at the bottom ofItalian football) to this?

For me i was able to release my whole squad and sign a whole new team on free transfers - I am not sure if you can do this at every lower club but it was possible here.

Other than that it was fairly simple - I made the use of some agent offers of regens on frees and constantly checked nations u21 squads for players available for nothing - thats how I got Kopecky, Radosevic and Karadzole - who of course are still 1st choice just now.

Thats also how I got Munteanu and Aldea - gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

nice...ur stories are so gd...did u change castel-di-sabgro operating status ...as they are an amature club

APRIL

Well the title is wrapped up and we are able to play our (younger) youngsters for the remainder of the league season. We eliminated Bayern Munich from the Champions League but an awful 1st half performance against Arsenal looks to have dented our chances there.

I just remembered that due to Belgium winning the Euros they have no competitive games to play after the World Cup for a while so I may be moving on again!!!!!

----------------------------

UEFA Champions League QF 1st Leg
Bayern Munich 3-2 Castel di Sangro
Bursuc, Ongenda

Fell behind twice - pegged them back twice - but couldnt manage it the 3rd time 2 away goals could be handy in the end though.

------------------------------

Udinese 1-2 Castel di Sangro
Cosenza, Ongenda

------------------------------

UEFA Champions League QF 2nd Leg

Castel di Sangro (2) 3-0 Bayern Munich (3)
Ongenda, Bursuc, Diego
(Agg: 5-3)

Great result with us being 3up within half an hour. The only bad thing is that Ongenda got injured and is out for nearly 2 months.

---------------------------------

Fiorentina 0-3 Castel di Sangro
Diego 2, Cosenza

A surprisingly comfortable win this leaving us a point away from retaining our title.

-----------------------------------

Castel di Sangro 6-1 Siena
Cosenza 3, Kopecky, van der Post 2

CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!! A great way to wrap up the title with Cosenza being the star man. Our old player Polverino scored for them incidentally.

--------------------------------

Novara 0-1 Castel di Sangro
Torri

Rested my whole team here as the title was already wrapped up so I wanted to see if my youth players and backups could step up to the mark. Torri's goal was our 100th in the league this season.

-------------------------------

UEFA Champions League SF 1st Leg

Castel di Sangro 3-4 Arsenal
Bursuc, Diego, Fabianski (og)

Was 4 nil down at half-time and they had a goal disallowed before we finally began to start playing. Disappointing but could and should have been much worse.

--------------------------------

Castel di Sangro 2-0 Genoa
Righini, Andric

I changed them to professional and thats it. Didnt change the money or coaches or anything like that. Oh and I obviously changed what division they were in!!!!

like, if you could continue the save when klippybo is finished??

Great job. You don't get sacked automatically if a chairman is looking to replace because otherwise the moaning from people would be unbearable for SI. Beating Barca though and league title secured is brilliant.

MAY - END OF SEASON

A satisfactory end to the season, despite going out in Europe we picked up the Coppa Italia again and our squad players did us proud in the league. Off the pitch we got more coaches and scouts in and got Tenerife as a feeder club. My plans for them is to feed them players until they get promotion to the top division.

Good news was Torri got called up to the Italy squad however Cinelli got injured and will miss the World Cup.

-------------------------

UEFA Champions League SF 2nd Leg

Arsenal (4) 0-0 Castel di Sangro (3)
(Agg: 4-3)

Left thinking - if only? - if only we didnt have a dsastrous 45min in the 1st leg - if only we took some of the chances we created in the 2nd leg. Ah well - maybe next year!!!

----------------------------

AC Milan 1-2 Castel di Sangro
Crisetig, Lucas Moura

Played half a team here and we get a great win with an injury time strike from Lucas Moura.

--------------------------------

Coppa Italia Final

Castel di Sangro 1-0 Roma
Kabasele

Got a bit lucky here as Roma were marginally the better side and had a goal chalked off. Still - another trophy for the trophy room!!!

--------------------------------

Castel di Sangro 3-1 Juventus
Jorzig, Iorio, Lucas Moura

The backups and youths did a fine job here - although we were aided by the fact that they went down to 10men early on.

----------------------------------

Roma 2-2 Castel di Sangro
Iorio (pen), Diego

We had 2 players stretchered off in the first half - both of my cms (Cinelli, Jorzig) - which didnt help.

---------------------------------

Napoli 2-6 Castel di Sangro
Cosenza 2, Diego, Iorio 2(1pen), Maniero (og)

Incredible - we were 5-0 up at half-time. A special way to end the season.

Are you going to jump ship after the WC?

Yeah - would love to manage Italy or France. But we shall see.

For FM 13 I will probably do another Bilbao story - although without Aitor it probably wont be as good - I have 2 ideas for other stories and I think a pentagon challenge will be on the cards.

FIFA WORLD CUP

Group G

Belgium 5-0 Japan
Hazard 2, Vervoort 2, Nainggolan

Line Up: Courtois, Odoi, Kompany, Alderweireld, Vermaelen (Buelens), Defour, Fellaini (Deschamps), De Bruyne (Dembele), Nainggolan, Hazard*, Vervoort

A great start - Lukaku got injured before the Ecuador game and Vervoort has taken his chance big time!!!!!!

Croatia 1-0 Uruguay

----------------------------------

Uruguay 2-2 Belgium
Vervoort 2

Line Up: Courtois, Odoi (Buelens), Kompany, Alderweireld, Vermaelen, Defour (Deschamps), Fellaini, De Bruyne, Nainggolan, Hazard (Dembele), Vervoort*

Very annoying as we were 2 up and cruising! Must do better against Croatia.

Japan
0-2 Croatia

--------------------------------

Belgium
1-1 Croatia
Vervoort

Line Up: Courtois, Odoi (Buelens), Kompany, Alderweireld, Vermaelen, Defour, Fellaini, De Bruyne (Dembele), Nainggolan, Hazard (Chadli), Vervoort

Another disappointment as we led for a long time here. Qualifying 2nd in the group is a bit disappointing I have to admit.

Japan 0-2 Uruguay
