DECEMBER

A very successful month as we won all our games and progressed to the semis of the Serie C Cup. We did release Capone, Bottini, Scarniglia and Scarpari as they were clogging up the wage bill and we brought in this young lad who looks decent

JANUARY

First we brought in Gerard and now Ronaldo! lol. We paid Grosseto £16,000 to get the winger in and hopefully he will do well with us. If we do get to Serie B I think he will cope ok.

FEBRUARY

A fine month although we did drop points to Ascoli (somehow) but I can put up with that. We also reached the Serie C Cup Final after beating Como over 2 legs.

Off the field it is all about me! Firstly there have been rumours off an imminent departure by my goodself and secondly my applications for the jobs of Ivory Coast and Ghana were rejected!

MARCH

A frustrating month with 2 draws in the league cutting into our lead at the top. Ronaldo was in fime form though. In the youth intake there wasnt anybody special. One player looked half decent for this level but I am looking for players for the imminent Serie B campaign!

As if it matters we secured our play-off position at the end of the season.

One trophy was collected this month as we picked up the Serie C Cup on away goals while we are 2pts away from getting automatic promotion to Serie B and thus being crowned Group B champions.

Not too surprised the first two divisions have been as easy as this, My Huntly game was easy with promotions till the second level. Will Seria B be any harder? im going to predict now youll be between 5th and 10th so 7th lol

MAY - END OF SEASON

Woooooooo!!! We secured the title with a comfortable win and then won the Serie C1 Super Cup over Vicenza! Off the pitch I signed a new contract and then Bonomi retired to become a full time coach and the board finally allowed me to scout outside Italy as we are now restricted to Europe! lol

Just need to bring in some scouts now!

PRE SEASON
(up to date of Piacenza cup game - mid August)

AIMS
Well I chose Serie B survival and with the players I had at the time that would have been an achievement in itself but as you will see I have gathered together some new recruits and I think mid table is easily achievable. Promotion? Dont think so!!!!!

Undoubtedly my best 2 signings and Munteanu will be the go-to guy methinks. They have both signed 3 year deals but unfortunately have release clauses that would see me get a total of £1m for them both so that needs to get sorted!!!!!

A great signing this. Took an age to get him as he wasnt interested for about a month and then I couldnt agree a deal with him. The clubs highest paid player and will hopefully form a good partnership with Munteanu. Has a release clause of £1.9m.

PLAYERS OUT

Abrahim finally left to join Cittadella for £240,000. My 2 backup keepers left for a toal of £8,000 while Arena, Allegri and Carbone were released.

SUMMARY

I think the key to this season is to get my new players settled not only into the team but also the country and hopefully they will pick up Italian quick. If not it could get very messy. Its a risk but one I felt I had to take. In my 1st eleven I will have at least 6/7 new players in it so changed times indeed.

I should point out that by no means do I think I have any amazing regens in my side (yet) but I am commenting in comparison to what I have had in my journey so far!!!!!
 
Emil Ibson would be my first choice out of that lot because his movement is the best by some way, is a good finisher and is the paciest of the lot, good luck in Serie B. You forgot about Lecce btw, aren't I kind.

Frantisek would be my man. High work rate, stamina and strength. Bound to give problems to any defence ;)
 
I would go with Emil Ibsen since he has the coolest nickname. And because he's danish. And I'm danish too. So... Very thought out.

AUGUST

3 games this month - a cup victory over Piacenza, a narrow cup defeat to Serie A outfit Genoa and an opening day league win over Pescara. Had problems in the full back areas with both my right backs out and my first choice left back!
