cheers mate! this tactic i have only used for fm12. as for the team i dunno really as everyone has different likes and dislikes but my favourite ever save was my Bilbao story then I had a good game with Udinese. I like Aberdeen so going them is a challenge - it all depends, as they say - different strokes for different folks!

DECEMBER

If you offered me 4pts at the start of the month I would gladly have taken it so I have got to be pleased with this month despite the situation of our defeat against AC Milan. Overall the first half of our season in Serie A has been brilliant. Would gladly take a top 6 finish in the end but I fear 10-12th would seem more likely.

(Cherubin came 2nd in defender of the year while Kovalik came 2nd in foreign player of the year)

JANUARY

A mixed month really. The high point being the cup win over AC Milan (reserves) and the low point being the defeat against Udinese with a respectable draw against Fiorentina chucked in also. Would be shouting from the rooftops about my win over AC Milan if they didnt play such a weakened side - even if half of them would walk into my team! lol

Off the park I rejected the chance to manage the Republic of Ireland and we had a busy month transfer wise too. Leaving on free transfers were Cassano, Di Tacchio and Geroni while Bandini left on loan. I brought in 4 players with the Danish CB being my favourite.

A comical moment though was when homesick goalie Zaitsev rejected a co-ownership deal to Roma (worth £2.5m) because of their poor league position!!!!!! Incidentally I could have raked in over £20m in co-ownership deals as I had offers for Zaitsev, Twardzik, Roverito, Bertini, Righini, Cosenza, Ibsen, Crisetig, Radosevic, Kovalik, Belmehdi and Karadzole!

FEBRUARY

The Italians seem to like stretching out the cup - played the 1st leg of our semi against Roma on the 2nd of Feb and the 2nd leg is going to be played on the 31st of March!!!! Anywho we started the month off with a double header against Roma. Would have preferred to have won the cup game and drawn the league game but hey-ho.

I signed a young striker on a free - just as backup but he has potential.

What an incredible month - too many good results to describe really so have a look!!!! It seems incredible that we have a great chance to play Champions League footballnext season. Arranged 2 outgoing transfers for next season with Nordstrom and Svendsen leaving on frees.

The youth intake was promising with a few 5 star potential players including one from New Zealand. None of the calibre to go straight into the first team though!

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! Fell behind here when Hamsik struck with 12min gone but Kopecky equalised after Fossati played him in. We got the winner in the 77th minute when man of the match Kopecky set up Versleeuwen to score.

The FM gods werent with us here as Italy u-21s had a game so we were without Cosenza, Roverito and Bertini. Then during the game Abate got sent-off and almost immediately after the ref cancelled it out when Karadzole got given a red card. Milan struck twice late on.
