December update

Matchday 13

View attachment 1048151View attachment 1048149

Despite Real Madrid and Inter's game just 2 days before matchday 13 (as they had a game in hand from matchday 12. Barcelona and Chelsea still have to play and the game is scheduled on the 2nd of January), they both managed to grab victories on the 5th of December as PSG grabbed the most impressive win against Juventus at the Parc des Princes whilst Arsenal couldn't do better than a draw against Atletico. Bayern got a narrow win over Chelsea and youngster McNair saved Manchester United a point against FC Porto, who played the last 35 minutes with 10 men. Benfica also rescued a late draw at home against Valencia despite looking like they could have lost the game whilst Corinthians unsurprisingly lost and Liverpool couldn't get the better of Barcelona and also lost yet another game.

Arsenal are still flying at the top of the table after matchday 14, without a single loss but yet another draw this time against Manchester City. Juventus had to rely on Mandzukic to score an 88th minute penalty to grab a late win against Benfica whilst Liverpool impressed away from home as they managed a 3-1 win against Valencia. Shock came from Brazil as Corinthians beat Inter at home and Chelsea also impressed as they beat Atletico 2-1 at Stamford Bridge. The biggest game of the week was between Real Madrid and PSG as the home side got an easy 2-0 win over the French side. Barcelona could not play due to the FIFA Club World Cup whilst Bayern already had a game in hand and therefore didn't have to play in this matchday.

Matchday 15

View attachment 1048160
Some great action coming from all around Europe in matchday 15 as Bayern smashed Liverpool 3-0 at the Allianz Arena for their return in the league whilst Arsenal kept their unbeaten run going and Juventus also grabbed a win against Valencia. Chelsea destroyed Manchester City at the Etihad with two late goals from Alexandre Pato whilst Sevilla managed a narrow win over AC Milan. Benfica recorded a very impressive win over giants Real Madrid as PSG also managed an impressive 2-0 win over Manchester United and Corinthians salvaged a point against Porto.

Matchday 16

View attachment 1048169
It's getting better and better for Arsenal as we approach the halfway point in the league and they are still unbeaten as they easily beat Porto at the Emirates Stadium 4-2 whilst PSG could only managed1-1 draw with 10-men AC Milan. Corinthians and Sevilla finished with the most boring game of the season so far as Chelsea beat Inter and Barcelona recorded an impressive win over Bayern. Atletico also scored 2 goals in 4 minutes to get a 2-1 win at Anfield and Ronaldo was the hero as Real Madrid won against Juventus.
A couple of teams needed to play a game to catch up on other teams as Martial scored a brace to gift Manchester United all 3 points against Benfica and Bayern got a win against Valencia whilst Atletico got a late equaliser to draw against Barcelona.

XAVI PLEASED WITH WORLD LEAGUE PROGRESS
View attachment 154856
Comunicado Oficial/Official Statement

Xavi: I am pleased with the progress we are making as a club in the newly formed FIFA World League (FWL). We are by far the busiest club in the FWL, as we have to compete in the league, cup, Champions League and Club World Cup so we have tempered our expectations accordingly.
Now, onto the review of our season so far.

FWL
We currently sit 6th, although we have 2 games in hand due to our participation in the CWC that could see us move into 2nd. We have suffered 2 losses all season, although perhaps disappointingly both of those came at home - a demolition by Juve, and a clinical smash and grab by United. On the road we are undefeated, but appear unable to kill the games off. This is an area to improve.

Cup
A fairly easy route so far, as we comfortably dispatch Vitoría, Valladolid, Guingnamp and Olimpia to set up a mouthwatering tie with Arsenal.

European Super Cup
A solid win over Sevilla to lift the first silverware of the season.

Club World Cup
Easy enough as we dispatch Warriors and Talleres cba. Another trophy

Champions League
A tough group consisting of Reggiana, Maccabi Netanya and FC Dordrecht results in 18 points, and a whopping 1 goal conceded. We have the tough test of Messina in the first Knockout Round.

Transfer List
All prices are negotiable, but looking to sell:
Adriano
Douglas
Vermalaen/Mathieu

The owner of chelsea has not been happy with the way the club has been going the the Fifa World League. They currently sit 12th, a position where Felix believes is not good enough for a big club like the blues. He has stated that club will be spending but they want to make sure they spend right.

First updated from FC Porto Chairman

Don Erkebabulous speaks to the media for the first time since taking charge. He has publicly announced how disappointed he is with the club's league and cup results. He made specific mention to the cup 0-3 loss at home to League 4 side,
En Avant de Guingamp.

View attachment 154745

Erkebabulous has stated that all members of FC Porto are for sale as he does not believe they deserve to be at the club.

(also if anyone knows how to make a picture bigger pls let me know, because that photo is much bigger than what it shows)

Atletico Madrid Transfer List

Matias Krannevitter - £15M
Big CM talent. Unfortunately not favoured by Simeone.

Augusto Fernandez - £12M
Argentinian international CM

Yannick Ferreira Carrasco - £17.5M
Out of favour with Simeone since the arrival of Bernardo Silva. Still a quality winger.

As we are not in great financial shape, anyone will be available at the right price.

Paris Saint-Germain transfer list:

Chairman Bernard Arnault has decided to put out a transfer list for his club during this January transfer window:

25 million

Nemanja Radoja - a talented defensive midfielder who hasn't featured in Laurent Blanc's plans this season so far and will need playing time to reach his potential. 15 million

The PSG owner has however mentioned that any player could realistically be bought, if the club wanting to buy a specific player came in with a reasonable offer.

FC Bayern Transfer List

Yaroslav Rakistskyi - £15M
Not getting any game time. Will look to recoup the amount paid for him.

Rafinha - £10M
Again, wants game time which he will not get here.

Manolo Gabbiadini - £20M
Another very good player on cheap here.

Benfica Fifa World Premier League Update

Luis Figo and Rui Vitoria must be rubbing their hands with glee as they see Benfica sat in 8th place in the Fifa World Premier League. With the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Juventus, Benfica have done well to propell themselves into the top half of the table.

Benfica have beaten the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City this season so far. They were likely relegation candidates but look nowhere near looming over the drop zone. Rui Vitoria has done well to keep morale high and with the likes of Nicolas Gaitan, Renato Sanches and Jonas playing well Benfica may push further up the league.

Now entering the January Transfer Market and with money spend Benfica may look to spend some money. Figo has said that if Benfica get into Europe he will pose in his boxers for Portugal's version of vogue.

Lets keep this up Benfica!

Whens the Transfer Update?
In just 15 minutes mate, when the window ends :) I'll also put out the January update as well since I simulated until the end of January to reduce the amount of transfers made by the managers in game.

Bah, noone buys my players, and I'm broke! Can't buy anything!!

THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW HAS CLOSED
Total amount spent: 138 million

BIGGEST TRANSFERS:

1. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund to Arsenal - 39 million (95 000 a week)

View attachment 154684
The Gabonese striker comes in as the most expensive transfer ever in the FIFA World League Premiership and joins a group of players already very talented and performing very well since the start of the season at Arsenal and will definitely be a man to watch in the future.

2. Stefan De Vrij from Lazio to Arsenal - 31.5 million (55 000 a week)

View attachment 154682

The Gunners spending big in the transfer window as they bring in a young talented Dutch centre-back who will fit right into Arsenal's lineup next to Koscielny and should bring even more defensive solidity to a side that hasn't lost a game as of early January.

3. Niklas Süle from Hoffenheim to PSG - 16.6 million (25 000 a week)

View attachment 154681
Another young centre-back signing in this transfer window as PSG bring in the German Niklas Süle who according to many German newspapers, has the potential to become the next Beckenbauer. With PSG conceding 17 goals in 16 games, the defender should be of a lot of help to Blanc's side and can be expected to be in the starting line-up in the future.

4. Mayke from Cruzeiro to Chelsea - 14.6 million (27 500 a week)

View attachment 154678
Chelsea looking for, just like many teams, defensive solidity after a poor start to the season as they bring in a young Brazilian by the name of Mayke who can play as a right-back. With pretty decent finishing, great speed and a great work rate, he could prove to be a great offensive threat as well for the Blues who clearly want a better second half of the season.

5. Leon Goretzka from Schalke to PSG - 9.4 million (40 000 a week)

View attachment 154677
An incredibly promising signing from Les Parisiens who were looking for a long-term replacement of Matuidi and Pastore with the Argentine on the go and Matuidi aging slowly. With now a midfield of Verratti, Rabiot and Goretzka, PSG seem to have a young very promising midfield for the future which could definitely rule the league in the next couple of season.

BIGGEST SPENDERS:

1. Arsenal - 70.5 million

View attachment 154676
The North London club spent big as they sit in 1st coming into January and will be looking to keep their great form going to attempt to win the league in its first ever season, making them one of the top sides in Europe if not the best team in the world. They brought in two fantastic players in Aubameyang and De Vrij as they also offloaded Debuchy and Wilshere to Corinthians, the latter leaving on loan.

2. PSG - 25 million

View attachment 1048429
The French side spent big again as they take their season spending to just over 85 million by bringing in Sule and Goretzka, two of the brightest German talents around. Predicted to finish 7th this season, PSG are clearly underperforming and chairman Arnault doesn't seem afraid to spend his money on players this season.

3. Chelsea - 24 million

View attachment 154675

The Blues were very quiet during the summer transfer window and decided to spend a bit more money as they brought in
Mayke from Cruzeiro and Tolisso from Olympique Lyonnais as two signings that could prove to be very important for them in the latter stages of the competition as they sit in the bottom half of the table halfway through the season.

MOST PROMISING SIGNINGS/POTENTIAL FLOPS:

Many young players have come in to the league this January and it seems as if the battle for the title could be a very tight on as Arsenal will be looking to clinch it ahead of the likes of Bayern, Real Madrid and Barcelona. Aubameyang, the most expensive transfer of all time in the FIFA World League Premiership, will definitely be the signing to watch as he'll boost Arsenal's offensive threats and will definitely come in handy when facing tougher teams with solid centre-backs who could easily take care of Giroud. Laporte comes in to strengthen the defence at Atletico and could also seem to be a key player as they chase Europe this season.

View attachment 154674
Many questions were asked when Milik opted to move to a team already facing relegation but he could be their hero come the end of the season

There were some other deals however that looked like either the club had spent too much on a player or the player would not be able to take the pressure and the jump to such a high standard in the World League Premiership but it'll be up to them to prove us wrong. In that list, Kasami (new signing at Porto), Ramon (very unlikely he'll get any playing time at Manchester City) and Debuchy (new signing for Corinthians).

View attachment 154673
The young French midfielder just signed for Chelsea but could have a tough time appearing for the first team and might regret making the move to such a big side so early on in his career

January update

Matchday 17

View attachment 154662

An incredible 5 red cards were given in 9 matches in this matchday, but the biggest shock came from the Parc des Princes as PSG grabbed an incredible win against Arsenal to end the Gunners' unbeaten run. Juventus thrashed AC Milan whilst Inter also managed a win against Liverpool. Barcelona won a very tense game against FC Porto as Benfica continued their good run and smashed Corinthians. Real Madrid were also shocked at the Bernabeu as they lost to Manchester United, thanks to a hat-trick from Luan and Atletico also got a win through 2 early goals from Bernardo Silva and Vietto. Chelsea's problems this season didn't seem to end as they drew with Sevilla away from home.

Barcelona had two games in hand as they had to play against Chelsea and Manchester City to make up for their missed games during the FIFA Club World Cup. They got an easy win against Chelsea but somehow were crushed at the Camp Nou by Manchester City as summer signing Moutinho got his first goal for the club.

Matchday 18

View attachment 154659
Arsenal got back on track with an easy win against Sevilla despite getting Koscielny sent off very early on as Real Madrid lost yet again and Barcelona had to count on Messi to gift them all 3 points against Inter. Manchester City and Liverpool drew after an amazing last 10 minutes to the game as PSG got a close victory against Corinthians, thanks to two goals in one minute from Higuain. Torres was the hero as his loan was cancelled by Atletico and he came back in the summer to now score against Benfica and gift Milan a point. Bayern and Atletico cancelled each other out at the Vicente Calderon and Chelsea got a close win against Porto. Finally, Juventus managed a good win against Manchester United despite going a goal down very early on.
Matchday 19

View attachment 154658
Real Madrid finally got back to winning ways as they destroyed AC Milan 3-0 at the San Siro with Liverpool also managing an impressive 4-1 win over Porto. Barcelona struggled against Sevilla and could only manage a draw at the Camp Nou with Juventus also failing to win against Corinthians. Bayern, Atletico and Arsenal all continued their road to the title as they won their games with ease and PSG managed their third win in a row this month at Stamford Bridge through goals from Pastore and Di Maria. Manchester United couldn't take advantage of Valencia's red card at Old Trafford as they drew 0-0 with the Spanish side.

It seems as if many of the big teams are starting to slip up as Arsenal got a draw against Real Madrid, Barcelona also drew against Benfica and Juventus lost against Chelsea. The biggest shock came from Brazil as Corinthians beat Manchester United with 9 men. Liverpool impressed at Anfield despite failing to keep a 2-0 half time lead against PSG whilst Manchester City and Inter had a goalless draw and Milan drew against Valencia as well. Atletico continued their good run of form with an easy win over Porto.

Matchday 21

View attachment 154655
And here were the last few games of the month! Valencia beat Manchester City 3-1 at home whilst Liverpool grabbed a very late winner against Sevilla and Chelsea could only draw against Benfica. Real Madrid easily beat Corinthians at the Bernabeu and AC Milan also impressed as they beat Manchester United 3-1 at Old Trafford. Inter and Porto got the better of Atletico and Bayern respectively as they both grabbed draws against the title contenders and the biggest games of the matchday came from Juventus Stadium and the Parc des Princes, where Juventus beat Arsenal 3-1 and PSG beat Barcelona also 3-1 to climb up the table. Some impressive results this month from a couple of teams who have made their way up the table whilst for others, the New Year clearly hasn't done them a lot of good yet.

With just 13 games left this season, the league table is looking tighter than ever in the top 6:

View attachment 154650
The table promises a really exciting end to the season as just 6 points separate the leaders Arsenal from 6th-placed Real Madrid and Liverpool sit just 4 points above the relegation zone. Will the new signings from the January transfer window make an impact after coming in at the end of the month? We'll have to see for ourselves in the next few games!

Are Real Madrid even active lol. There's a few others too. Lol. Great update mate.

I know, a bit disappointed that some people decided to just give up on this thread but it's good news for people who want to join since those clubs will probably be free at the end of the season!

Good form recently! Let's hope we keep it up for the end, and hopefully go up a few places!

Awesome mate. Yeah it would be good to have more interaction. Especially as we get great updates from you. Bummed we get them every few days as we need to get our updates in. Top 6 is exciting though!
