Liverpool F.C. The 5 Year Plan.

Gerrard retiring is so sad to see, hopefully he can do well for your youngsters!

United winning meant is was over. Even if I won, they had the better Goal difference.

Gerrard retiring is so sad to see, hopefully he can do well for your youngsters!

Aye, I'm hoping he can have a good influence and bring some great players through.

Do you reckon you can go one better next season, or will it be similar to real life next season in the league?

Have to wait and see I guess. I'm reluctant to change to squad that much and just pick up where we left off.

Frank Lampard made his return to Chelsea as their Unveiled their new 57,161 seated stadium
to be London public. The new Lampard Park, named after the iconic England and Chelsea midfielder
cost an estimated £400M to build, most of which was recouped from the sale of Stamford Bridge.

Many had expected Tottenham Hotsurs to move out of White Heart Lane into a
new 50,000 seater stadium but I'm sure their move into Wembley Stadium is still
a surprise to most.

The move into the 90,000 seater of the English national team has come just in time for
Spurs who last season qualified for the UEFA Champions League through their 4th place
finish. This huge jump up in ticket revenue as well as the TV revenue form Champions
League fixtures are sure to almost double the clubs financial power.

Wow can't believe Spurs moved to Wembley, realistically that wouldn't happen, there would be to many event clashes. Also, any FA Cup Semi Final or English Cup Final, Spurs will have home advantage, they should dominate in the cups now.

I know, I'm shocked myself. I have a fleeing it might just be a relocation while their building a new stadium but the facilities tab doesn't show any future moves, ect.

As far as I know, in the Semi-Final and Final of the FA Cup, the two teams only get roughly 15% each of the tickets each while 70% go on general sale. I'd assume that the game will still consider it a neutral venue for that reason. I could be wrong though.

They've had the same thing on mine, but it doesn't seem that Spurs have had any advantage from it, in fact they have been much worse since moving there!

Spurs move to Wembely. Warning, contains spoilers by looking in the editor.

It's a temporary move. I hat it last year Where the game moved me to the City of Manchester Stadium for a year while Anfiled was developed to 60,000. The game must have moved Spurs to Wembely for the same reason.

We're spending a lot of money on wages for players who're not playing many games.
We weren't given much money to spend for this reason: or wage demands are just too high.

The goal for this window

Offload players to reduce wage budget.
Make room for youth integration
Generate income for Key signings.

Simply put, I felt he was not preforming well enough. Simon Scuffet has
been preforming well in training and just had a decent loan spell at Stade
Reims so I'll give him the no.1 jersey and 12 months to impress.

A good footballer but he was struggling for games. We've better youth prospects
coming through ans his mental stats were not high enough to tutor anyone.
I was disappointed to only get £11M but we needed the money more than the player.

Dejan Lovren

View attachment 317994View attachment 317993
I lost patience with Lovren after some costly mistakes at the beginning of last season.
He was firmly behind Howedes and Sakho and after Mingay was promoted to the senior
side, I decided to cash in on him.

Sebastian Giovinco

I feel for Giovinco. He come to Liverpool on a free contract and had a wonder season. He was
a huge factor in us reaching the Europa League final and filled the hole left by an injury ravaged
and goal drought season for Sturridge. he struggled for games last year through when Suso and isco
came to the club and he's not getting younger so we cashed in on him.

The areas I've identified that we need to strengthen are CDM and LB. We need a new
holding midfielder and a new Left Back who can eventually replace first
choice Kolarov.

Which is why I'd like to introduce you to Javier Mascherano. I'm sure you remember him.

When we herd that Mascherano was available, I made sure that we were the only
club offering him a contract worth accepting. Sicne we weren't doing much busniss
this year, I offered him £150,000K p/w to ensure we had his signature since we were
up against Man United, PSG and B.Munich.

The Left Back I've chosen to go after is a young 18 year old dutch player: Ivo Jacobs.
Naturally left footed with excellent Stamina, Bravey, teamwork and Workrate, I think this
kid could go far in the game and be a world class player with us for many years to come.

Previous first team football at Willem II gave him a lot of credit towards securing
the move to Anfield. He's got everything necessary to become a world class LB.

Fantastic story mate, I've been a silent reader for last couple of FM's. I currently got a Liverpool save running and going into December 2nd in the league level on points with Chelsea and top of the Champs League group. It is very enjoyable, hoping I will get a lot of incoming finance this season with PL + CL money as I have done the stupid mistake of monthly installments on two players.

Liverpool as you know have fantastic attacking talent and Balotelli has been surprisingly consistent with 8 goals and 8 assists. I only invested in my defence and I brought in Marcelo (Real Madrid) as he is available for 16m and maybe cheaper, and the two I brought in on installments Balanta (didn't want to bring him in due to his popularity but he is very cheap for his quality) and Juan Jesus who has been a rock at the back. Lovren hasn't played for me this season as he has bee injured on two separate occasions which are both long term. Finally one thing bothering me is that my team don't feel as fluid without Gerrard and isn't good since he won't be around much longer, I have used Rossiter sparingly to give him game time and have loaned out other young players to teams.

Sorry for taking over a bit there but fantastic story and will continue to follow

Aye, I know your pain. Liverpool don;t have the same corporate deals as Arsenal, United or Chelsea so cash wise... we're rightly screwed until you get that Champions League money flowing in.

Keep a very close eye on your wage budget... the higher it is, the less you can spend. Makes sense really, if the club is already spending a fortune on keeping players there, why bring more.

Suring up the Defense is probably the first thig I should have done myself but i'm a Rodgers-esqu Mangaer: I love attackign football and developing youngsters :P

I've never actually managed Balanta. I don't know why but I just never seem to buy him.

If you're looking for a replacement for Gerrard, I'd recommend Ruben Neves. he's pretty much the Portuguese Gerrard.
I've been tracking him for 2 years in this save and would have signed him only for the lack of a transfer budget this season.

I have to visit Chelsea, United and Arsenal in the first half of the season.
Pretty much the exact opposite of last year where I had to go away to all
the big boys in the closing months. If we are in a commanding possition
come January, we can really push on!
