Liverpool F.C. The 5 Year Plan.

Best story written ever. I could read this for days and days without stopping! Good job m8 and please, continue with this kind of magic!!!! :)

Curse Chelsea!

I've got a voodoo doll and I just won a lock of Murinho's hair on Ebay, ****'s about to get real! :P

I have the United curse this season, get them in every competition! Chelsea seem to be on my heels though all season!

I know that feeling, it always seems to happen. THough to be the best, you've to beat the best. I love that challenge of pitting my teams against the best in the league.

I have read this story, along with your previous Liverpool story from FM14 without ever writing on the thread. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for these stories, they are quite literally, the best on this site, although others do come close. This story was definitely my inspiration for doing my own (albeit with Norwich City).

The fact that I've inspired stories makes all of this effort worth it 110%! I do this for ye more than anyone since I know first hand how entertaining it is to follow someone elses save and share in their ups and downs.

My bogey team are most definitely Manchester City, and Sergio Aguero in particular who seems to always score a hattrick!

Mine are definatly Stoke. Every FM they've been a throne in my side! :P

My bogey team would be Newcastle or Liverpool.

See above comment :P

Been a silent reader of your stories for a few years now, this one is just sensational though, so glad you decided to continue it!

Cheers my friends, means a lot to me.

I've been reading this story for a while. Mostly only once or twice a week for me as time allows. That's great that you decided to continue this story no matter the negative comments as well as the 5 year plan not going the way you hoped! Great read! You're having a fantastic season! And just think, if you stopped with the story, you'd never have been undefeated at the new year!

And it's a great mix of some wonderkids combined with players I have no clue about. I'm playing an LFC save which I basically went with loads of wonder kids (first save played and wanted to see how they would turn out).

And to be honest, I keep debating about starting a story of my own, but not sure I could do such an amazing job as you have! Definitely one of the best reads so far! Loving it. Keep it up!

I find the trick to long term saves is avoiding the first season wonderkid haul and setting reasonable goals for yourself. Making sure you build on each season helps keep the game interesting.

As for starting a story, it was only last year that I started getting recognition. It's a long road but I thoroughly recommend it to anyone as it's 1) great fun and 2) makes your save feel bigger than it is since other people care about your results. I'd strongly recommend giving it a go :)

Nice that you kept going.
Really love to read This story

Cheers my friend. Means a lot to me mate.

Awh shucks, you'll make me blush. There are far better stories here than mine so I'm surprised that I've gotten so much praise.

Wow, thanks for that mate. To even be mentioned in the same sentence as yourself & those other guys is unreal! :)

The unbeaten season is over though to be honest, I'm glad the pressure of that
potential accolade is now of the table. Winning the league is challenging enough
without other distractions. THis is a young side that I've built and byt he time
the old guard: Henderson, Sakho, Mata, Ramos and Mascherano retire, I'll have a
crop of exceptional youngsters blooded and bruised, ready to take over.

Denied the clean sheet int eh last moment. At the top, I care about these things :P

Another clean sheet for Danny and another goal for our young striker Simpson.
It was a day where we were lethal from dead ball as half our goals came from
our center backs.

The run had to come to an end sometime. Munir gave us the lead but
resilient Norwich display gave them 3 points. I was disappointed but at
least we still have a comfortable points cushion from Chelsea. We can
afford a few slip ups.

Another good display and Munir bring his season tally to 31 goals in 31 games.
10 PotM awards and 13 assists, Munir is having a sensational debut Season at
Anfield.

I was disappointed not to get an away goal but I send out a second string side to keep them fresh
for the Capital One Cup game against Chelsea. March is going to be one **** of a tough month...

Brilliant season so far, shock there against Norwich though! keep it up mate

Tough matches ahead of you.

Aye, I'm somewhat dreading that many tough matches in such a short space of time.

Brilliant season so far, shock there against Norwich though! keep it up mate

They've a decent side and are sitting 8th so it's not that much of a shock to me.

The month to make or break the season perhaps? You can do it mate! Come on!!!!!

There's still a lot of football to be played but this moth will set the tone for the run in. I've a nice cushion so I can take, maybe, two losses and still be ahead.

A ****** tough month but we got some significant results.
There was a big shock in the Champions League hat no one
saw coming. We still find ourselves ahead of Chelsea in the
league but our gap has been reduced to just 4 points;
with Chelsea having a game in hand.

We get our revenge on Chelsea for knocking us out of the FA Cup.
This is the 4th time I've won this competition.

Beating the old rival in their own back yard meant so much. The 3 points are
very important given our fixtures.

We had a terrible start to the game and couldn't make the comeback in the second half.

It was a tense, nervy affair but we couldn't find the winner. Simpson
furthered his affinity with the Liverpool faithful but grabbing the goal

Gutted... Absolutely gutted. I had my head in my hands when that 90th minute goal
flew in. Munir missed a penalty and everything but leading 3-1 with 10 minutes to go,
we've no one to blame but ourselves. This results dose give us the chance to focus
on the league title though.

I thought we'd done enough to grab a draw but Willian's 90+2 minute goal was a real
kick in the teeth. 1point lads. One point separate me from second place Chelsea

We've now played an extra game over Chelsea but he pressure is on them. Each game
we win means they need to keep pace and hope we drop points.

The final stretch is here and we have a serious chance of
wining this title. Spurs and Q.P.R. are the two teams
who could cause a problem.

2-0. Clean sheet for the England no.1 goalkeeper and Munir grabs
two more for his debut conquest of the English League. Henderson
made a return from injury and started on the bench. I'm hoping
to have his ready for the Spurs game.

Young Welsh Full Back Jenkins was the stand out performer in a resolute back line.
They've been fantastic all season as we've conceded so few goals.

going forward and defended exceptionally well, restricting Spurs to just
5 shots all game.

3 games left, three wins away from the title.

The day Chelsea slipped up.

This game is bigger than it may appear. Q.P.R. sitting 4th and looking to secure their
Champions League ambitions with a home win while Liverpool can take a giant 4pts
lead int eh Title race with only 2 games left. This is a huge game for both sides!!!

We pretty much have one hand on the cup right now. Munir came off with an injury before he could
net his hat-trick; which would have brought his season tally to 40 goals. Thankfully, it was only a niggle
as he's available again for selection for the final two games of the season.
