When Liverpool open up their League campaign at home to Everton, it'll be a day to remember
for Liverpool Capitan Steven Gerrard as he's set to make his 500th appearance for his boyhood club.

Gerrard has spent his entire career at Anfield, making his debut in 1998, cementing his place in the first
team in 2000, and succeeding Sami Hyypiä as team captain in 2003. His honors include two FA Cups,
three League Cups, one UEFA Champions League, one UEFA Cup, and two UEFA Super Cups.

Gerrard made his international debut for the England national football team in 2000, and represented
his country at the 2000, 2004 and 2012 UEFA European Football Championships, as well as the 2006,
2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups – captaining the team at the latter two tournaments. He was named
as the permanent England captain shortly before UEFA Euro 2012, where he was named in the UEFA
Team of the Tournament.

Gerrard became the sixth player to win 100 caps for England in 2012,
and is currently third in the country's all time appearance list. He ended his international career in July
2014, having won 114 caps. He is arguably the greatest ever play to be produced by, and play for Liverpool
Football Club. He's 140 appearances away from Breaking Ian Callaghans record though and at 35, I'm not
sure he'll stay on much longer.

Unlucky against Palace but some great results, especially against Everton!

Solid start to the season, back when Hildebrandt played at Stuttgart he was always my favourite keeper, unfortunately his decision to join Valencia completely destroyed his career, hope he can reclaim some glory at Liverpool :)

Some great signings in there and you did very well to get £32m for Mario Balotelli!

Definitely my favourite story in terms of presentation and detail, well that and I'm a Liverpool fan so I'm a little biased. ;)

Keep up the good work!

We had a solid September grabbing one huge win and securing ourself top of our
Europa League Group.

View attachment 324516
We looked the better side for most of the game but our finishing let us down.
credit has to go to Osvaldo for making the difference. We're moving in the
right direction though which is pleasing. I'm trying to organize the squad to
control possession and be defensively responsible: Both of which I'm seeing
this season from my guys. 60% possession in a lot of games with clean sheets.

Hilderbrand come in because Scuffet is not quite recovered from his injury but the
experience German is a very solid Goalkeeper. When he retires I may end up offering
him a contract as a Goalkeeping coach. Giovinco continued his fantastic start to life
at Anfield and Adam Phillips made a scoring debut. It's always a great feeling when an
academe player breaks through into the first team

We looked somewhat off the pace in this game; we couldn't hold onto possession but in saying that,
we attacked well when we did have the ball. Allan deflected the ball past Mignolet wen it struck him in
the wall for a Swansea Free-Kick... Nothing you can do there but I was glad to come away with a point.

View attachment 324513
After Seeing red in the 13th minute, Forrest lost pretty much their only effective forward and defended
with 10 men in the box. I'm surprised Possession was as even as it was but their defense deserves a special
mention: When you'e 12 shots on target and the game ends 0-0... that's something special. Even I couldn't
be annoyed with such fantastic defending.

The game went to the Shoot-out and Scuffet saved two penalties meaning when
Henderson stepped up to take the 4th spot kick, it was the decisive kick.

View attachment 324512
I switched to Def. Position in match training to compensate for United Forward Line but I was
quite confidence we could get a result today. We defended very well and limited United to only
3 shots on target. Their only goal came from a penalty Sakho gave away in the 88th minute.
Very happy with this result and it pulls us back up the table.

Judging by Freiburgs 4-0 win over APOEL Nicea, this group will be decided in our
double header. Winner will most likely take top spot.

Aye, They are a solid team that's very dangerous ont eh counter though so I'm not that surprised.

Aye, the name sounded very familiar to me, When I saw the Stuttgart connection it all came back to me. Very good goalkeeper back int he day and I'm glad to have him here. He's a good role moddle for the youngsters as well.

Cheers my friend. I'm a Liverpool fan myself so this is a save I jump into every FM. Only started doing stories about them last year though.

We really kick off in October and got some great results. I have a good feeling about 2015/16

Stolen at the death. Sterling made the back pages with a dramatic last gasp win over the Champions.
Sakho gave away another Penalty and as a result will loose his place. That's two penalties in back to
back games he's given away now. He almost cost me the points today if it wasn't for Sterling.

View attachment 324446
Henderson turned on the style today as he scored two. He's been in sensational
form for me this season. Almost making it impossible to rotate my midfield since
he's playing so well. Lucas gave away a penalty: that's 3 penalties in 3 game so I've
adjusted my tactics to try make us less aggressive in the tackle.

View attachment 324445
The group is essentially over now. Freiburg realistically needed to win the home leg to secure
top spot. I'm yet to concede a goal in Europe this season and a convincing win away to the only
team in the group who could challenge me... I'm expecting 6 wins form 6.

This was a terrific game that we happened to be on the wrong side of. If I was a neutral, this game
would have been a contender for game of the season. Mignolet injured himself early in the first half but Hildebrand came on a done himself proud. We played well throughout and all 5 goals were excellently
worked. It hurt to conceded so late but Walcott rounded Hildebrand late on to slot home the winner.
No complaints form me.

16 year old Mingay had been preforming very well in the U18's (7.15 rating) so I gave him a
capital one Cup debut and he took the chance by the horns. Pairing Sakho (later Shawcross) and
looked the more solid of the back 2. He's an immense talent and I'll be keeping a close eye on
his development.

The Quarter Final sees us paired with Manchester City. There are still
a lot of big teams left in the competition so it's going to be a tough one.

View attachment 324434Sebastian Giovinco
I knew I had signed a good playing in Giovinco but I'd no idea how prolific
he would start his Liverpool Career. In 15 appearances he's scored 12 goals
and set up 3 assists.

Great results in the Europa League and the Premier League aswell, too bad about the loss to Arsenal but judging from the statistics you were pretty much equal to them. Also glad to hear that Hildebrandt is doing well :)

Cheers. The Europa League is fairly easy since my squad is playing so well right now. When on form, they're easily top 5 candidates so I'm strolling through this group.

Aye, the Arsenal game was an intense game. We were very evenly matched!

Hilderbrant is doing well, getting solid scores in the games he's played but he is formly behind Mignolet and Scuffet. I feel a little for Fulton as it was his injury that knocked him out of the first team.

As a United fan, i hate to love this story, it's just so entertaining! If possible, could you tell me what facepack you're using, looks really good!

What can I say? they've been fantastic.
Jose Mourinho, Sky Sports News

We lit up the Premier League in November and won 7 games;
conceding only twice. I had a plan for Coutinhio which is paying
massive dividends.

I called Coutinho into my office after training. I had one thing on my mind
"How to turn him into one of the best players in the league"

I was disappointed with Burnley's late goal but to be fair, this was the first goal
Scuffet had conceded in 6 games. He's conceded only 3 goals in 10 appearances.

Anfield is starting to look like a fortress again. Losing only 1 of our 13 home games this season;
scoring 33 and only conceding 4 (2.5 goals/game : 0.3 concede/game)

An amazing month there and looks like your risk with Coutinho will pay off :) keep it up mate!

What a fantastic month! Really great season for you so far, looks like your players are performing much better then they were previous season. If you keep this form up you will most certainly achieve your goals for this season and you might even pick up an Uefa Leage as an added bonus ;)

You've got a bit of a machine going there now....plenty of goals and clean sheets proving your tactics working a treat

Aye, I feel a bit like Harry Redknap when he moved Bale up from LB to LW :P

My sights are firmly set on the Europa League and a 3rd place finish this season. I think I may be in with a chance of the Capital One Cup (Quarter Final vs City) but with the way we are playing, I'm fairly confident we can make some sort of a mark. It's my job to keep a level head though and get teh results out of them. I cna't celebrate untill the cup has our name on it.

Aye. Having played as a goalkeeper IRL, clean sheets are rather special to me. I love them more than scoring goals! :P
