Just read all the 6 pages, very good! Love the Photoshop skills but the manager coming on the pitch was a bit cheesy and unrealistic IMO. Good luck for the rest of the season!

December is here, and with it comes 7 fixtures in 4 week. This many games in
such a short amount of time can take it's toll on event he best teams.
I'll be counting on that as I look to continue my challenge for 4th place.

Loving the story and especially the layout and them photoshop skillz! As a Liverpool fan myself, i found it annoying that there were no good Lfc stories, untill now :) keep it up! |)

Three commit future to Liverpool.

Adam Morgan

Some have likened him to Robbie Fowler,
a big claim maybe but it can't be denied that Adam is a fantastic striker of the ball.
If he applies himself, there is every reason to think this local lad could make the bench and get a chance to shine.
Conor Coady

Last years U21's Captain, Conner is a very well thought off at the Kirby Academe. The gap between reserve and first team football is huge but this young man has all the attributes to make his mark.

Ryan Fulton

The 17 year old Scott has impressed in training and Rodolfo thinks he could one days be a decent Premier League Goalkeeper. He came through the youth setup so It's great to see the club is producing players who can play at the top level.

View attachment 438255Conner Coady has been in decent form for his loan club, Sheffield United.
Having made 17 appearances so far this season with an average rating of 6.7

This is the latest in a series of Moves by Javier Gonzalez Mendez to turn
Liverpool into a club that produces talent youngsters and helps them reach
the top levels of football. Liverpool is a footballing city, it's time we brought the
club back to the people.

Sound man, menas a lot. I'm a hige fan of the club so I'm glad I'm doing the club justice.

The Photoshop skills just came from messing around on it over the past few years. You'd be surprised what you can do when you're left alone with something long enough :p

Nearly finished December. Hoping to have that update up either tonight or tomorrow.

Note:
Got a crash dump error and lost the last week (game time) worth of progress.
I've updated the table + fixtures with the revised results.

Swansea City vs Liverpool F.C.
Premier League
2-3

Taken at the death! What a game. Luis Suarez put us ahead (9) only to be pegged back by Wilfried Bony (28). Daniel Sturridge Scored his first (60) of the night but again, Swansea hit back in the shape of a Jonathan de Guzman free kick (75). Throwing caution to the wind and buoyed by Frasier Forster immense performance in goal, Liverpool surged forward in search of a winner, which Sturridge found on 82 mins. Sharing equal possession but Swansea having 3 times as many shots on target meant that Fraser Forster put in a performance to remember.

Manchester City vs Liverpool F.C.
Premier League
2-2

A second half fight back saw us share the spoils on a dry day in Manchester.
City were 2-0 up within 20 minutes when Matija Nastasic ( 6 ) and Yaya Toure (18) scored for the home side.
An inspired performance form Coutinho was next to follow. He crawled one back for Liverpool (57) before turning provider with his delicate thru-ball for Raheem Stirling to score (82). Another game where Liverpool have changed the result in the last 10 mins of normal time.

Liverpool F.C. vs Fulham F.C.
Premier League

4
-4

View attachment 438208Luis Suarez!!! In the final minute to ****** an equalizer. Can't fault the lads,
what a performance. Fulham were well up for it today.

Liverpool F.C. vs Sunderland A.F.C.
Capital One Cup: Quarter Final
0-1

Don't know how I lost this one to be honest. One of them freak events I guess. Very disappointed our blip came at the expense of a Cup Semi-Final. Emanuele Giaccherini scoring the winner 1 minute into injury time.

Liverpool F.C. vs Aston Villa F.C.
Premier League
2-0

Confident performance form the lads. Two first half goals from Luis Suarez (25) and Jose Enrique (44).

Liverpool F.C. vs Tottenham Hotspur
Premier League
3-1

Luis Suarez (37), Coutinho (47), Edua rdo Salvio (90+2); Jose Sosa (pen 34)

Sunderland F.C. vs Liverpool F.C.
Premier League
1-3

Modibo Diakite (59); Raheem Stirling (5), Jordon Rossiter (60), Daniel Sturridge (90+2)

And that calls time on 2013.
Not a great start but I've pick back up and forced myself into the chance for Champions League football.
Though with Newcastle and Everton unexpectedly engaged in a title fight, Arsenal (9th), Liverpool (5th),
Chelsea (6th), Spurs (7th) and Manchester City (4th) are battling it out for those remaining European places
at the half way stage.

Player of the Month: December

Philippe Coutinho wins his second Player of the Month Award after a truly
sensational moth. Having been moved up to play as a False 9 between two Adv.Forwards, he's
been a creative force and chipped in with a few goals. His skillful dribbling terrifies defenders and has
won more free-kicks than I can remember.

Wow great save, keep it up mate! I hope you can turn things around and finish in the top 4 at the end of the season!
I love the idea of the 5years project!

I love the idea of the 5years project!

I'm on track to mount a top 4 challenge. Undefeated in 10 premier League games though If I hadn't drawn so many games at the start of the season, we could have been looking at a first season titles challenge.

The hardest part of this story is trying to keep in character and not go raiding the transfer market for stellar players who are 26+ years old. Youth is the key here and I'm excitedly waiting for the first youth intake.

I really like the fact that your aim is to give youth the chance. Ok there are some other saves who gives youth a chance, but I like the fact that you give the youth from your own acadamy a chance and not buy the best regens from Barcelona, Southampton, Ajax, etc.

I want to do that in my save too: Give the youth from the club's acaemy a chance.
Here is my story: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/foot...iga-bundesliga-new-bayern-bayern-alzenau.html

I hope you read it and give your opinion, that would be nice!

I know what you mean. I get a wee bit annoyed when I see the same names being signed in every story. I don't conciser buying wonderkids to be "focusing on youth." I'm even going to avoid raiding the other clubs youth intakes; unless the kids place of birth is "Liverpool", then he literally belongs to me :p (But each to their own, I'd never dream of telling someone how to play their game)

I'm even giving the likes of John Flanagan (A two star CA/PA mind you) a go in the first team and he's giving Glen Johnson a run for his money. I judge players on their stats, not their stars.

That's the mentality that I like and that is my aim too! Difficult because I'm in the 4th tier, but I can at least try it.
In every story I see people signing Balanta, Doria, Damiao, Shaw, etc. it is just so annoying because I like finding players my own and not searching for players in a wonderkid list...

Loving the updates, but one thing caught my eye :p

I see them as "fun" players to sign and get the best players to have instant success with but it's not realistic since no club would actually accept a ?20M+ over 48 months for potentially one of the best English Full-back in recent years. **** in real life, Southampton have said he's not being sold, end of story; so any price for him is a bit unrealistic.

P.S. John Flanagan again turning on the style. A "good for League one" player is averaging 7.00 a game in the premier League.
