The 5 year plan: year 2

"2014/15 Season Two: Finish 1st-3rd, reach a cup final, develop youth facilities + training facilities.

I'm targeting an automatic Champions League place and want get into a cup final; obviously I want to win but I think getting back to that stage is more important!
I also expect 2-3 Reserve players to have made it into the first team squad.
Using the Champions League TV money, I want to invest in the training facilities and Youth facilities to try produce some Local players."

Season Aim:
3rd place. After last years 4th place finish, I feel that an improved defensive display this season could help us gain automatic Qualification to the Champions League.

I reached last years FA Cup final but lost to Everton, I'll be targeting the same again for this season, FA Cup final.

Jordan Ibe, Jordan Rossiter, John Flanagan and Jack Robinson all made it into this years first team squad.

I've started expanding the Stadium and should seat roughly 51,000 for the start of next season.
Training and Youth Facility upgrades are due for completion on 15th, October, 2014.

Solid start to the season. conceding only 1 in two games is a big deal
to me and I'll be targeting an improved defensive record this term.

There was nothing to choose from between Lucas, ter Stegen and Sakho but I felt
Lucas was the consistent of the 3 players. He played his part and was a rock
at the heart of my defense, playing just in front of my back 2.
He and passe the ball very well and scored the vital away-goal in Lisbon

Passes: 246 (91%)

are you having trouble getting suarez to score?

A the moment, his moral is terrible because I didn't let him talk to City.

Once he decides to get off his *** and commit to the club, he'll be banging them in again from me I'd say.
He scored 21 for me last season (20-League; 1-Cup)

best played as advanced forward?

His role is not that important, it's the men behind him that you need to think about.

I try to have two creative rolls playing balls into him, Coutinho playing as a F9 beside him and Gerrard/Henderson passing from midfield. I play Suarez as either a Trequarsta or an Advanced forward (depending on how deep my line is)

Aye, he is a Red as far as I'm concerned. I was gutted when we sold him as I'm a huge fan of him.
Hendo', Allen, Shelvey and Rossiter will be this clubs Center Midfield for at least 10 years.

Rossiter and Hendo' have quickly become my favorite center midfielders this year. Am interested in what role you will play Jonjo in though.

Jonjo: his PPM's "Dictates Tempo" + "Comes Deep to get he ball" makes him a good CM(s) or a Deep Lying Playmaker(s). He would also play as a safe-minded ACM since he'd be dropping back and not leaving the middle of the pitch exposed to counter attacks.
I see him playing the same role I've Gerrard and Alonso playing for me: deep midfield support to spread the ball wide and keep the attacking moving forward.

I underestimated Levski and payed the price. Akinfeev had a good game

The 22 year old German Keeper made himself a firm, fan-favorite this month.
Not only did he keep a clean sheet against Chelsea; he also limited Spurs, City
and Newcastle to 2 goals between them. With a string of solid, consistent performances and
breathtaking last ditch saves, this guy seems to be the answer to
Liverpool's long-term goalkeeper question.

My hard-drive got whacked last night. power went out suddenly while I was doing a disk-check: turned it back on a few hours later and the hard-disk had failed so I lost this save file.

I've a back up on another computer but it's about a month behind so the most recent update is no longer valid. Won't be able to play again till tomorrow though. Sorry for the delay lads.

Aaaaah, that sucks :( Nice that you got a backup thouh :)

Aye. What's killing me is i was tempted to do a back-up only a few hours before it all happened.
I'm a fecking I.T. administrator and everything, I should have trusted my instincts! :p

The Backup in on my work computer so that's handy. Though September will be hard to replicate; some good results I had there. Hopefully Alonso wont be injured anymore :p
