Away at the Nou Camp was always going to be a difficult challenge. Disappointed to not

An end to end game with Extra Time drama. We went behind after 5 minutes but Coutinho
leveled the tie in typical fashion. We won the shoot-out with Butland making 2 fantastic saves!

We kept a clean sheet against Barcelona which is an achievement in itself but overturning the 2 goal
deficit was a bridge too far. Gutted to go out of the Champions League so early but loosing to Barcelona
is no embarrassment to the jersey.

failed to take their advantage as they slipped up away to Middlesbrough to stay
2nd in the table. Our penultimate game of the season at home to Chelsea may end
up being the title decider.

And we blew it on the last day of the season. Facing the side bottom of the league, we choked
and threw away a 0-2 lead to loose 3-2. Chelsea win their 5th Premier League in a row while
the wait for Liverpool now stands at 29 years. Having finished 2nd for the third time in a row,
bitter-sweet is how this league position is starting to taste.
