Thank's mate, Cole and Aqualani will not sell I've tried offering cole for free to clubs they just don't want him and Aqaulani the same, Adam shouldn't be hard to sell though.
Thanks for the free agents advice as well :)

Did you load the Ukrainian and/or Russian Premier Leagues ?

You can sell any player ( relatively ) to the oil rich clubs in Ukraine and Russia . They have huge transfer budgets and they can afford Cole and Aquilani's wages !

You can also offer a player for 75 % of his value , then half of his value or even his actual value as monthly installements !

And for the clubs finances .... Prize money ! :D

No I Didn't :/, but thanks for the advice anyway!

Trying to write an update now, I'll try and do it before the Euro matches.

So we've reached the halfway point of my first season in charge and I've got to admit it's going a lot better than I thought it would, the results have been great up to now.
Our poor Pre-Season is now seen as a false indicator and we've done much better than it suggests we would, in hindsight my signings were poor and I should have been looking for some youth.
Overall I believe we've had a great season so far, let's have a look how we got on during December...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

December 2011

This month was going to be crucial to whether we could keep up with the big guns at the top as we had 6 games in which most of them were very tough.
Here's this months fixture list...
View attachment 252823

Newcastle vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 4/12/11

This game is renowned for being full of goals and it often produces some classic matches, so let's say this match was completely different...

View attachment 252783

Liverpool vs Aston Villa Barclays Premier League 11/12/11

Villa are a shadow of what they were under O'Neill and I wasn't expecting much of challenge from them, the game shown our potential to dominate games through our retention of the ball

View attachment 252784

Liverpool vs Arsenal Barclays Premier League 17/11/11

Arsenal are tough opposition and are always a threat with the way they keep possession and move the ball, but they had new rivals in the art of beautiful football...

View attachment 252788

Everton vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 20/12/2011

The Merseyside Derby is not just a matter of three points it's also a matter of local pride and bragging rights, and to make it worse my first derby was at Goodison Park but I had a feeling that this game was easily winnable...

View attachment 252791

Man United vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 26/12/11

This game represents one of the biggest and most tense rivalries in world football, my first game against Fergie was at Old Trafford and I felt that getting anything from the game would be a good achievement and this game to say the least was nerve-racking...

View attachment 252792

Liverpool vs Fulham Barclays Premier League 31/11/11

This game was welcomed as a break from some very tense and nerve-racking games, no disrespect to Fulham but I fully expected a dominant performance from my team...

This month's results were great and to mine and the fan's delight we got a win over the Bluenoses and managed to stay unbeaten which meant we hadn't lost for half of the season.
Here are our results and the league table at the halfway point of the season...

Super 7's and Player Of The Month

This month was probably our best, staying unbeaten while having to play the likes of Everton, Arsenal and Man Utd ensured that there was some great individual performances on the pitch and this is reflected is this months Super 7's

View attachment 252812

As you can see above I had a lot of choice this month, there was some great performances but there was one player that shined brighter than the rest.
The Player Of The Month is... Luis Suarez

(Luis Suarez 5 Goals in 6 Matches)

January Transfer Window

View attachment 252915

Well as I mentioned before are financial state was not the best, and due to these reasons I wasn't expecting us to make any moves into the transfer market.
I saw this window as more of an opportunity to lower the wage bill as it was really needed, however we did bring in someone in on a loan deal...
In's

View attachment 252894

I know it's not the most impressive list but Gylfi Sigurðsson is a quality player who I see as a long term replacement for Steven Gerrard, I've only been able to bring him on loan for now but I will be looking to sign on a permament basis next season.

Outs

View attachment 252895

Charlie Adam - He's just an average player and with Henderson and Shelvey coming through I don't see a future for him at the club, the deal also see's us lowering the wage bill and bringing some added income which is much needed

Eccleston and Silva - These both are identical deals, both of them loaned out for first team opportunity and to get them off the wage bill for a while.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

January 2012

Last month was probably our best month so far, this month I was hoping to replicate the form we have shown.
For some reason our fixtures seem to come in bunches, one bunch being hard and the other easy, to my relief this month was one of the easier variety.
Here's this months results...

View attachment 252928

Liverpool vs Norwich Barclays Premier League 2/1/12

As I was hoping to continue our form this game was perfect, Norwich were struggling and at Anfield I couldn't see us losing...

View attachment 252901

Liverpool vs Rotherham FA Cup 7/1/12

There's not much to say about this game, it was just an opportunity to give some lesser players some first-team opportunities...

View attachment 252907

Swansea vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 16/1/12

Swansea were in a similar position to Norwich and even away from home I was fully expectant of my team putting in a impressive performance...

View attachment 252909

Liverpool vs Stoke Barclays Premier League 21/1/12

It's well known that Stoke are a really hard to beat, there a physical and dirty team who base there attacking play around set-pieces.
However I still was hopeful of an easy win...

View attachment 252910

Port Vale vs Liverpool FA Cup 28/1/12

Port Vale are exactly the best team around, I was expecting us to beat them easily and hopefully play some entertaining football
We didn't disappoint...

View attachment 252911

Bolton vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 31/1/12

Once again I saw this game as easy, however there's a danger in doing this as I was stupidly underestimating the teams we were playing against, I decided to play a weakened side as some of my players were slightly fatigued.
Did I make a bad mistake and become a victim of over-confidence...

View attachment 252912

Yes I know it's disappointing to lose our first game to a team that we really should be beating, however the rest of the results were very pleasing and we are still playing relatively well.
However our results see us still in a strong position...

Super 7's And Player Of The Month

This month once again was on the whole a good one for player performance and the Super 7's list looked impressive once again
Here's this months Super 7's...

View attachment 252923

This month was full of great individual performances and the Player Of The Month was hotly contested, however this player stepped up to the plate stepping for Gerrard and producing some awesome performances...
The Player Of The Month for January is... Gylfi Sigurðsson

I'll be updating tommorow, I'm going to make a slight change in the way I present the match results instead of me giving a little prologue to the match I will rather just talk about the highlights and talking points of the match.
Let me know what you think about this small change :)

Good update, your going really well and you got a good fee for Adam as he is a bag 'o W**** looking forward to the new layout you mentioned.

BTW Have you got an update screenie of your finances?

However take a Screenie of your fixtures before you play em ;)

Financial Update

So as you most likely know by now we are in a poor financial state, I've made some changes to improve the situation such as replacing Steve Clarke, Kevin Keen and Damien Comolli who's wages were way too high, I also sold Charlie Adam which helped to lessen the wage bill.
Here's our latest financial update...

February 2012

Last month saw us lose our first game in the league to Bolton, this means that is was vital that we responded well and got some more wins under our belt during February.
Here are this month's fixtures

Liverpool vs Sunderland Barclays Premier League (4/2/12)

View attachment 253203

A great game for us, the results ensured that we are back to winning ways in style.
We troubled Sunderland with set-pieces all games and it was clear to see as four of the five goals were scored from them, Titus Bramble completed our rout with a ridiculous own goal.
Man Of The Match - Sebastian Coates

West Brom vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 12/2/12
View attachment 253204

A good result but a disappointing performance, after two early goals courtesy of Sigurdsson and Suarez I thought we were going to win by four or five but it looks as if the team peaked too early and I was a little too confident.
We just couldn't seem to keep the ball which meant West Brom were getting a lot of opportunities, eventually they scored through a neat finish from Shane Long however luckily they couldn't capitalize and Reina kept us in the game with a string of great saves during the dying moments of the match.
Man Of The Match - Pepe Reina

Liverpool vs Chelsea FA Cup 18/2/12

View attachment 253210

A very entertaining game, it was very similar to the game in the League Cup.
When we were two goals up I thought we had the game but we became complacent even when I made it clear during the team-talk not to become over-confident, We conceded three poor goals and if it wasn't for Luis Suarez's great individual performance we would be out of the FA Cup, however we know have a tough replay at Stamford Bridge.
Man Of The Match - Luis Suarez

Wolves vs Liverpool Barclays Premier League 25/2/12

View attachment 253211

This game was really tough, once again the team peaked early and became complacent.
There were quite a few negatives this game, Reina dropped a clanger and Doyle scored but to top it all off Skrtel was sent off for violent conduct which means he will miss three games.
However we won the game which is the most important thing.
Man Of The Match - Sebastian Coates

Super 7's And Player Of The Month

This month was a mixed for player performance, there were quite a lot of good performances however some have dropped out of the Super 7's due to a run of terrible performances.
Here are this months Super 7's...

View attachment 253212

I'm not going to waste your time with explaining my reasons as it's a simple decision
The Player Of The Month is .... Sebastian Coates

Super 7's was pretty full this month, unlucky in the FA cup having to go to Stamford Bridge for replay.

Nice score against Sunderland.

The drop in finances is leveling out this month but 18 mill in debt after selling adam for 4.5 mill :O Are the board improving anything? stadium, youth or training facilities?

Went back to the start to look through at your transfers and I cant understand it got loads out on loan to reduce wages got rid of a fair few...

The board are not improving anything, I can't see we are continually losing money.
I suppose I'll just have to sell some more deadwood.

Your finances are not looking too good, I wish I could help you but I can't spot what's going wrong.
Anyway you had some nice results this month and the Super 7's looks impressive.

Thanks, the finances seems to be improving hopefully I can move some fringe players on and save some more money :)

Next update will be tommorow, also I've thinking about putting links of all my updates on my OP to make it easier for people to find them is this a good idea?
