I wouldn't be around Balotelli tonight. He's probably going to play with fireworks again ahahahah

Kill that ******* useless **** evans, he shouldnt even be in the ******* EPL never mind the united squad he is a stupid ******* *** and i would gladly punch the idiot square in the face he should be sold and his career destroyed I have said for years that he will cost us big in a huge game, not just ******* up in smaller games
rant OVER

As a neutral (Not a City, United or Liverpool fan), when Fletcher was fully fit for United he played outstanding. He's not even 100% now, he surely has a lot of muscle mass to put back on but maybe I'm nostalgic I think he's superb.

Billy's post proves what I think, he doesn't get enough credit and didn't when he was on top of his game. A bit like Carrick in the 09/10 season when I thought he had the season of his life and still the acclaim didn't come, but when his form dips everyone's on his back it's pretty strange.

As a neutral, Fletcher has never been outstanding at anything. He slows down play with sideways and backwards passing, and any forwards momentum generated by him could have also been done by Carrick, Anderson or Cleverley just as effectively, if not better.

He gets the credit he deserves, which is very little.

Many United fans on this forum seem to be under some kind of illusion that Fletcher offers something and deserves his place in the team. I'm beginning to believe we share a Manchester user base with Red Cafe.

Every big game United has been involved in over the past 4 years Ferguson has picked Fletcher (And Park more often than not), Fletcher does a job that people don't notice most of the time. He has been doing the majority of the running in United's central midfield for years now doing the work Carrick isn't great at and he's very unselfish on the ball always giving it to the more creative and talented players.

I can't change my opinion on Fletcher, or Park, because of one performance where he had Silva/Toure/Milner/Aguero charging at him and he didn't have Vidic supporting him. I just think Fletcher, when he is fit, does most of United's running and is one of the key players for United.

I don't like getting carried away with results, like I didn't when United were hitting 6 past everyone or Chelsea got beat by United, I like to wait until mid season to start judging teams and players simply because consistency of performance is key to winning the title.

Without Fletcher, with Cleverley for instance, United's midfield would have been over ran even more.

Let's not forget Fletcher lost kilo upon kilo because of that illness he picked up and he's only had 2-3 months of solid gym work, it's not going to be a quick fix to recover from that. I still think Fletcher gives United something, considering what he's been through I think he played pretty well today.

Everybody was poor except fletcher and rooney. I am not blaming welbeck he didn't had any choices. I was disappointed in nani and young they both had plenty of opportunities to deliver crosses in first half where we had 65% possession and didn't create anything! ferdinand is well and truly finished after this and rafael and fabio now have to step up because evra is shocking at defending nowadays! I am not too worried to be honest, As long as Fergie is there;I have no worries!

Just saying that when Fletcher come back i said we will now dip in form and struggle.
I got slated, unfortunately i was proved right

Their worst defeat in epl?

Just to add now there are going to be a zillion doomsday prophecies like United are Finished and Fergie Is Past It and Mancini is new Wenger and Manchester Is Blue etc.Whoever write this **** will have to wait till MAY!

Yet more people who think Fletcher offers something. Oh well. Guess we'll agree to disagree.

Yes, it's early, but their performances were outstanding in the recent matches.

I can't criticize De Gea in the slightest for any of the first 3 goals, as for the last 2 closing the stable door when the horse has bolted comes to mind...

Exactly. as for new champions, its october for crying out loud. It might not go to either side. Just ask Chelsea about last season
